It's pretty fun and one of the few covid-safe options out there. The course is a bit challenging but not too frustrating. And they get pretty creative, there is even a hole that requires putting through a stream of water! The only reason for 4 not 5 stars is the course is a bit rough looking. Plus when I was putting I saw some bags of mulch that were not opened yet. They could at least hide them and wait until after hours to spread mulch. Plus some of the green is worn out in some areas and could use a fresh coat. Still, I would come back, it's a lot of fun! read more

Love this place! It's heavily shaded, well-maintained, and reasonably priced. My grandson had a blast and played for free (4 and under)! The pond looked like it had seen better days, but the rest of the course was awesome! The ice cream afterward was a welcome treat! It would have been nice to have a little more to choose from on the menu, but most people like pizza, so not a deal-breaker by any means! We will definitely be back!! read more

Such a pleasant surprise!! The course is beautiful & natural (woods, trees, river/waterfall) not to mention SO AFFORDABLE - what an incredible value!!! It was only $6.25/adult and $5.25/kid. I would have paid the usual $12+ per person for such a nice place and experience. The food and ice cream at the cabin (check in) is also greatly affordable (we got 4 separate ice cream desserts for $8!! This is not a $30 ice cream date!) Staff is so friendly and professional too :) A++ all around, I'm writing this as I'm here eating ice cream - I just couldn't wait to share!! read more

Not happy with this place..went based on reviews of others..first of all there were Red Ants everywhere on every hole..all over my kids feet..the whole property needs to be sprayed..even when we getting in car of parking lot..had to remove kids socks and shoes to get ants off..2nd the putt putt greens are in bad shape an need to be replaced..not happy with experience . read more

First time here and was happily surprised. They used the slope of the hill/mountain well. The course is pretty and has running water going through it. One hole even uses the running water in it. Not really handicap accessible but ok as long as you can do some steps/stairs. Also has pizza,drinks and ice cream for sale. Ate the ice cream on the side porch in the rocking chairs. Would definitely go again. Be careful driving in as there are some major potholes at the entrance. Parking is free. read more

Today was our first time here and we really enjoyed ourselves. The whole golf area is very well-shaded so you can bring your kids without worrying about them getting too hot and uncomfortable (that was my concern before coming). After our game we indulged in some blue bell ice cream they sell inside the building. We'll definitely be returning! The only thing i'd recommend is for them to add more items to their menu, it would have been nice to have some lunch after playing. All they had to offer was pizza, ice cream and assorted beverages. This is an 18-hole course in a heavily wooded area, so be prepared to do some walking and bring some bug spray for the littles. Which by the way, toddlers get to play for free! read more

I haven't been here in years because the last time we came things were a bit run-down. But they have done a lot of work on this course and it's really nice now! It looks like all new "grass" and they have rock "sand traps" and water features and more. We really had a great time! I only gave 4 stars for now because there was still some work going on at a few holes that blocked part of the holes - but those may have been completed by the time you read this. read more

I have been to this establishment numerous times and up until now I had been very happy. However, I will not be taking my family there. We had a group of 25 plus people. The older lady (I assuming she's one of the owners) gladly took our money at 6:45 on a Wednesday without mentioning anything about having to be done by a specific time. Once it was 7:30 the old woman go incredibly rude and said we were supposed to be done by 7:30. She continued to make us feel unwelcome the rest of the time until everyone in the group was done even to the little kids. She even refused to sell them ice cream! Very let down on how this woman acted. read more

Best in the south. This is a great mini golf course! There are plenty of obstacles, features, and challenging holes. The atmosphere is nice. Hubby says this is his new favorite minigolf place. Very pretty, hilly area. Overall, fun course to play and not so overcrowded that you have to wait for people to finish or have someone waiting on you. Saw rolls of green outdoor carpet in the parking lot and they oddly had placed unopened bags of rock and wood chips on some of the actual courses. I'm guessing they are replacing the carpets soon. The bags I am uncertain if those are for the landscape or for the actual courses. Weird they would put them there like that on the weekend. Seems like you would do that during a slow time, like a weekday morning. Affordable, good family fun. read more

Some reviews says the courses needed to be redone, but they were all in really good condition. The scenery around the courses is beautiful and there are places to sit everywhere while you're playing. It was also very shady, so you aren't getting hot. The staff there was really helpful in helping you pick your club and making sure you know where to go. Definitely the best one I've ever been to. I LOVE this mini golf course!! It is set in a forest with trees and wildlife all around. As you walk to each hole, you pass wildflowers and waterfalls, and a beautiful pond full of gold fish. This is not your typical cheesy mini golf. It is very serene and relaxing... not garish and silly. For those of you who aren't forest-inclined, they have complimentary bug spray at the front desk. It is a perfect summer activity because the waterfalls, shade and breeze through the trees keep it cool year round. The prices are very reasonable, and they have numerous special events and charity functions. You also can get some ice cream when you finish! YUM! The owner, Bill, is a pleasure to talk to, and quite a nice guy. I definitely want to see them stick around for the long haul, so everybody go check them out! Excellent mini golf course! We were passing through Gainesville and had some time to explore before heading out of town. I searched on miniature golf, and this location came up. Prices are excellent, and the kids had a great time. The course is fun and is a good mix of obstacles with straight putting. The condition of the course is great. The carpets are clean, not over-worn, and the putting surfaces are solid. The landscaping is natural and well-maintained. My wife stayed in the clubhouse while we played, which she commented on its cuteness, but I know she also would have enjoyed walking the course with us beneath the ample shade trees. I highly recommend this spot, even if you are local. We'll be back! read more

The Oaks Mini Golf is a very fun place to go with your family, girlfriend, boyfriend, husband, or wife. The course they have is challenging enough to make you try but set up for beginners so anyone can play and have fun! I would highly recommend making a day of playing a few games at The Oaks. and when you are done just go inside their county style building and get some ice cream to share from their friendly staff. Or if eating inside is not for you then you can enjoy your ice cream out on the deck in a rocking chair with a beautiful view of the whole property. Oh, and while you are there don't forget to take pictures at the coy pond which is actually part of the course! I sent my 3 children and babysitter to play a round of mini golf this morning. Unfortunately, the owner/manager wouldn't accept that my son wanted to use a slightly different club than he recommended. He referred to my son as making a "stupid" decision. After confronting him about this over the phone, he finally admitted to using this term with my son but would not apologize for this. It's too bad a course this unique has an owner that conducts himself very poorly, particularly around minors that enjoy this game. read more

Probably the best putt-putt course I've ever played. It's in a beautiful area, and every hole is well putt together and challenging. I expected it to cost twice as much as it did.
