Bring back the voodoo juice! Thankfully whoever was working knew how to make it! Also, redo the menu with actual descriptions of the drinks. I don't want to order a drink that just says vodka but doesn't list the mixers! They have a new menu every time we come and seem to spend more money to change the menus than anything. The free birthday meal is a nice bonus! The Drinks were very slow coming out. The wings were good but barely any sauce on them. The pimento cheese wontons are amazing like always. read more

I was torn on this review because everyone there was very friendly. Nice location. The food was just OK. The menu is good with different choices but it was very greasy and heavily fried. Not very flavorful. Just mediocre really. I wouldn't go back. I did have a great time with my adult kids playing music bingo! Overall good experience but the food isn't good. Wednesday night is BOGO wing night. We went with a group of 6. Didn't have to wait too long. Probably a dozen wing flavors. My favorite is the house and the honey siracha. They have $6 Long Island ice teas that are great. A regular go to in Buford. read more

We had a dinner meal at Friends 33 Buford Village Way. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Although it was relaxed the service did not suffer. Our appetizers were on our table quickly. Our drinks were kept refilled. When our meals came out they smelled delicious and they tasted delicious. We shared some bites of others meals and everything tasted great. Our hostess,Lily checked on us to make sure everything was going well. I wish I could remember our servers name. Great family place and the sports are a great add on. We will be back read more

We've been going to Friends in Buford for years now and I haven't Guly recommend it. I usually order their Cobb Salad and I get 3 meals out of it! Their wings are pretty good as well, and were from Buffalo. We've also had some large groups for lunch on the weekenda as well as playing Trivia, and never had any issues with service or food. Highly recommend them! read more

This is most definitely a bar not a restaurant. So if you want that then this would be the local Cheers for this area. Someone at the bar even had the bartender leave & go get food somewhere else to bring it back for him while I was in a hurry waiting for food. I got my food to go, once I had my 1st wing I realized they were so hard. After waiting for food to go for over 20 min i wasn't going back to argue about my 20$ meal for one person. My wings must have been forgotten about. Very disappointed because this was not my first visit and I wasn't very impressed the first couple of times I had been there with friends. I'm lucky that I live in Buford Village and have the opportunity to walk to Friends whenever I need to enjoy a great all around restaurant experience. From the wings to the burgers, Friends has wonderful food, great service and a friendly atmosphere to dine in. I would recommend Friends to all my friends and family. read more

Friends- your management and policies have really declined. You're now charging your customers a service fee for using a card! The food, although usually consistently good, is overpriced already! The timing of food from the kitchen has been off. And the mystery manager is always hiding in the back. I had a simple request that I was willing to pay for and the manager said no, not our policy. This review should really be a 2 star but the wings are pretty good. read more

I work close by at NGPG building and order frequently from Friends. Today, so received my wontons with a solid frozen center. When I called to inform the restaurant they were so unconcerned and uncaring. We are allowed a 30 minute lunch break and work a 10 hour shift. She demanded I return the the frozen appetizer to prove it was frozen. Not interested.... Thanks for nothing. Will not support this business any longer. read more

This restaurant is amazing! the staff and owners are friendly and knowledgeable. Understanding this is a franchise, the franchise board should be ashamed of themselves! They should allow the owners of each individual business to run their business with restrictions but not as a dictatorship! I wanted food that is no longer available because of the "Dictators"... Order was made to wrong location and we called w/in 3 mins to cancel the order. They refused. Horrible customer service! Waitress was nice and tried to correct order however the manager was VERY rude and could be heard yelling through the phone at his employee over the situation that was not her fault, she was just trying to figure out an option. read more

We went in one night a few minutes before 9 and a last from the kitchen came in and told the hostess they turned the grill off and we can only have fried foods. We were like but you close at 11 right? As a owner I would not be happy to turn away a party of 10. Especially 2 hours before closing time on the weekend. read more

I was there about 3 weeks ago with my family. It was after a funeral service, and we took over your patio. Your servers were amazing (and patient!) as trying to get us all "organized" was akin to herding a bunch of cats. That being said, I dream of your pimento cheese wontons. They were delicious. My wedge salad was really good, too. Everyone else seem to enjoy their food. read more

This is a great comfort food place, portions are gigantic, our food was fast and prompt, service was awesome as well, all plates were very good in taste and as mentioned very generous in portion size, there is plenty of parking outside, they have TV's all over the place so you can keep up with the world of sports as you have a beer and enjoy your food, the Polish hotdog I had had a pretzel bun and it was very good, the rest of the plates around the table looked as good and they all said they were delicious, will try them again soon. read more

I gave Friends grill another try because I'm a forgiving and optimistic person. Stupid me! Should have learned my 2 star lesson. Ordered 10 wings for $16 which was a little cray cray to begin with. They were the absolute worst wings I ever had. So over cooked you could hear from the other room when I bit into one. These wings were so dry you could see with your eyes ... didn't even have to taste them to know they were not going to be good. Disgusting and so over priced this should be a crime. I'm done with Buford Friends Grill ... officially unfriended! read more

We had a decent first experience. Went for lunch (2 kids, 2 adults) last Saturday and the crowd was pretty light. We enjoyed the Bada-Bing shrimp appetizer. Our sandwiches were pretty good and standard. Service was good. However, the place could use a little better cleaning, but we understand right now with staffing that's easier said than done. Overall, it was a pretty good experience and we'd likely go back to dine again. read more

Kool bar and grill in Buford. Lots of TVs to watch sports. I came here for lunch on a Friday. I ordered the Homecoming Bruger as a Beyond Burger But without the BBQ Brisket. They carry the Vegan patty, Beyond Burger. Let me tell you, this burger is legit. It rivals the other vegan burger, the Impossible Burger, that other local restaurants carry, but I believe this is the only restaurant that carries the Beyond Burger in the area so if you prefer that vegan burger then this a your spot! It had a yummy charbroiled meaty flavor, top shelf stuff. Also tried the Thai shrimp app...also very good, definitely recommend! I sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and service was on point, definitely will be returning. Also, If your looking for vegan options on a menu that are not just salads and fries then this is the place for you! read more

Pleasantly surprised by this place. The name gave me "freezer food" vibes but the boneless wings I got were huge, full of flavor and handmade. I worked as a vendor at a festival across the street and my husband brought me lunch from here. I ate two meals out of it and can't wait to go again. read more

A great place to get some food. Kids had Bacon Cheese Burgers and they both liked them a lot. Wife had the chicken wrap, "tasty". I had the Knickerbocker and it was great. Friend says the Trash Talk Nachos are to die for. Kids eat free Sundays which is always great. read more

Food choices are good - they have vegan, vegetarian and meat for all diets. I tried the chicken quesadillas and my husband had the Cowboy Beyond Beef Alternative Burger. The cheese on the burger wasn't melted and there were mushrooms which were not listed on the menu or in photo of the burger. Wiped both off and ate and says it tasted good. The quesadillas were better then expected and would recommend them. read more

I can't believe some of their prices haven't changed in years. But their drink selection has all sort of types and prices. I used to frequent the Peachtree Corners location, but that location has since closed down. This newer location is pretty spacious inside.

It took about 10 minutes for our server to greet us, and another 10 minutes just to receive waters after ordering them. My boyfriend and I ordered drinks (a Raspberry Collins and a Tropicalia), along with a pretzel for the table. The pretzel was brought out by another server, and when I asked for plates, they never returned with them. I then asked our server for plates, but they still never came. Eventually, I had to ask the host to find our server, and he responded that he would "try." When our server finally came back, I had to ask for plates a third time. Our friend was finally able to order his mixed drink, and we went ahead and ordered our meals as well. The food took nearly an hour to come out, despite the restaurant having very few tables at that point. My boyfriend ordered the Nashville hot chicken, which was extremely oily and lacked flavor. I had the hibachi bowl, which was decent. Before the food arrived, I ordered another Raspberry Collins and more water, which took about 15 minutes and again was not delivered by our server. The one bright spot of the evening was the bartender -- I didn't catch her name, but she was wearing a red Falcons shirt. She personally brought my drink to the table, promptly brought us waters when asked, and even cleaned up our table. Major props to her professionalism and attentiveness, because she was the only person who made us feel taken care of. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we won't be returning. Save your time and money and try somewhere else in downtown Sugar Hill.

Ok, so my first experience at this restaurant was not good at ALL, I told my self that I wouldn't go back. Well a few months ago i was meeting up with some friends of mine and they told me to meet them here. I hesitated but still went. Sat in the middle of the restaurant and had asked the girl up front to change the tv because there was kids in there and they had on some inappropriate show, Of course she didn't. So I started to get a little weary, then our server came had a great personality. This server also noticed the TV without me telling her and immediately changed the channel. She also some how talked me into getting a Half picture of beer instead of a pint because it would be cheaper. I asked this young lady what was good and she was able to tell me not only what was good but what was in everything. My buddies girlfriend also told the server she wanted something with grenadine in it but she wasn't sure what. Our server was able to name off at least 10 drinks with everything in them. I must say I was very impressed this time around. The lady deserves a raise I must say. She wears glasses and has blonde hair. We can't remember if her name was Terra or Taren. Thank you for the awesome service and great food. You must try the grilled shrimp poboy and tat tots with a half pit of beer. read more

I don't normally write on sites like this, however I was compelled to after my experience at Friends. My grandchildren have allergies to soybeans, which makes it difficult to take them out to eat when they visit us. I called Friends and talked to the GM. I explained my dilemma to him and he told me that if we came in he would make sure he accommodated my grandchildren's needs. I took him at his word and we went to Friends to eat. As I walked in, I asked the server to speak to the GM. The GM came over and introduced himself as he kneeled down to talk to me. I then added that my grandchildren were unable to have margarine as well as the soybeans. After a minute or 2 he came up with the idea of sautéing chicken in real butter away from the grill to ensure that the chicken did not come in contact with any oil or grease. He also said he could steam broccoli in butter. After seeing the looks on my grandchildren's faces I knew I made the right decision. I can't thank the gentleman enough for taking time out of his busy schedule to accommodate our needs. "Friends" is aptly named. We will be back. read more

I have been here a couple times. However, the last time I came (yesterday) was by for the best experience I have had. The previous times I have stopped in, my waitresses were not behaving as they should, I.e. arguing with each other in front of customers, not keeping tables clean before a new guest comes, etc. At one point I couldn't find my waitress and I had to bother the bartender. I was sure I wouldn't go back to Friends again. My husband wanted some wings so I found myself there again. My most recent visit there was great. Our waiter, Duran, was very attentive, friendly, and made the extra effort to make my husband and I have a great time. I found out later that Duran is also the manager for the mornings, which would explain the difference in how the restaurant runs. To me, there is a clear difference of customer service. If they know what's good for business, they will keep Duran! read more

This is the 3rd time I've visited this establishment and the garlic parmesan chicken wings are the BEST!! The 1st time I visited this restaurant was in 2017 and was blown away by the taste of the garlic parmesan chicken wings. I then went back home to San Diego CA, called all around my local restaurants and bars to see if they served these particular type of wings one said yes, I place he order, pick them up and they were nothing like the garlic parmesan wings from friends..theirs were a wet sauce of sorts just totally horrible. So now every time I travel to Buford Ga, I always make a point to stop by Friends Buford Grill to get THE BEST GARLIC PARMESAN chicken wings..If you're in the Buford area make sure you check them out, besides the great food the establishment itself is warm and inviting, clean and friendly. Wow, I am surprised with these reviews, they have only been open a short time at this location, but the management of this company is awesome. I wanted to add my review because I don't want people to get the wrong idea about this place. It is a sports place and watching a game there is great. I think the menu is very appropriate for this type of restaurant. (for a sports bar I thought they have a diverse menu) All of the food I have tried has been top drawer. (I do tend to get wings though) My daughters have never complained about anything they have ordered. Family friendly and great food! My husband and I were visiting family from out of town and we were looking for a quick meal, but not wanting the typical fast food and our family suggested Friends. By far the best restaurant experience in a long time, we were greeted by the manager right away, seated facing the tv so my husband could watch the game and our server was really friendly. The food was great and the price was very reasonable. I ordered the Firecracker Salad, and it was huge and so good! The best salad, hands down, their buffalo sauce was delicious! We had a Phenomenal experience today! From the moment we entered we were happy and at home. The servers engaged with our children. The staff was knowledgeable on all menu items. The food was exceptionally prepared and cooked. The kids chicken tenders were lightly breaded and juicy unlike most restaurants that over bread and over cook until the chicken is dry as a bone. The buffalo chicken wrap was perfect with the right amount of breading and sauce and the smoked chicken wings were tender and juicy. I eat here weekly it seems and I previously ate at the Suwanee location before moving, so I knew it would be great. I love the wings & the blue cheese. It's not a low quality blue cheese at all. My fav wrap is the Siracha chicken wrap & get the chicken grilled. The Fisherman's sandwhich grilled is my all time fav. I've been hesitant to try the salads because most "bar" type places the salads just are ok at best. This past visit I got the Fire Cracker Salad on recommendation from my waiter & had the tenders tossed in hot with blue cheese dressing. Love it! read more

I can't say enough about this location! My family and I have been numerous times whether it was just for dinner or for Thursday Trivia night and the food has been great. The staff has always gone above and beyond for us. As a Team Mom for one of the Buford Cheer squads, I arranged for us to have a dinner for all of our girls and all I can say is WOW! I went here to try something new and as my kids love chicken strips it seemed like a perfect fit. The kids ordered the chicken strips in several flavors and was pleasantly surprised at the taste and quality. I, myself, ordered the fish and chips which was very delicious. The fish was cooked perfectly and came in a size that was bigger than expected. Our waitress was attentive and we even had the manager come to our table to verify that all was acceptable. For our son's wedding, we wanted to supply the groom's ready room with his favorite snack - wings. When we asked him where he'd like them from, he replied "honestly Dad, Friends in Buford has the best wings around". And he was right - they were delicious! We held our end of season team party at the Friends Buford Village location. We had a team of 51 boys and parents and siblings. The wait staff at Friends very efficiently got our players served with their food and the parents were all served and finished with their dinner in an hour and a half!
