We hadn't been in a few years cause the drinks were weak, service was bad and we had issues with orders. We saw they had decorated for Christmas and updated the drink menu so we gave them another try. Shannon was an excellent server! They had a Rum punch showing online but not on the menu but they still made it for me (sad to see that removed). The raspberry Collins was also great! We got the happy hour chips . The chips were a little thin and kept breaking with every scoop but the guacamole was so fresh and delicious. The burger & tots were great! We will be back if things stay like this visit

The food was amazing. The service was great. The ambience was even better. They had an outside seating area right across from the actual restaurant. That's where I sat and watched they had cornhole. You can hear the music playing from wherever you're at.

Mixed review here. Came because we wanted to try something new with a good menu selection to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Made a pre-call reservation & came in to be seated right away. Nice booth, clean restaurant, but not a whole lot of smiles or friendly welcome. Menu was solid, or so we thought. I ordered a Coors Light- out of it... huh. So I got something comparable & was not too bothered. Our server was very nice and attentive, so that was nice! Made up for the sad welcome team at the door. LOUD music, but we loved the music- good ol' River-Rock music!!! Hard to chat over it that loud though. Ordered the Chips, Queso & Guac- not amazing, but we were hungry. We also got the Crab Dip. Neither worth the price. I ordered the BBQ Sandwich & Mac... REALLY GREAT! GREAT cheese pull on the mac!! Daughter got a Smash Burger & Fries- she loved the burger, but not the fries. My hubby tried to get the Cuban, but they didn't have it, so he got the Whisky Burger- liked it. Mom got Buffalo Chicken Tacos w/Blue Cheese. She said really good & she is picky! I ate her side of broccoli... delicious!!! I don't know what the others ordered, but they both chowed down. Oh, I remember cheese was missed on 1 burger but the server fixed it quickly. So- would we be back- I would. Others said maybe. They all say 3 stars because of the misses, but I give 4 b/c of the music, server & our meals were delicious! Here are some pics of the fun! There is plenty of parking- some on the street, but a big parking deck right around the corner. Nice little area. Go try- it's a cool joint!

Lemon drop was disappointing. They had no chilled glasses and the drink was tepid. Mojito was great

The outdoor area of this restaurant was really nice. We sat on the patio and enjoyed a guitarist out on the walkway. The service was a bit slow but the server was good. My meal was amazing!! I had the Mediterranean salad with salmon and it was perfect. Love this area and will most definitely return to this restaurant.

Attached is a photo of my brick-hard fries and undercooked chicken sandwich. The waiter suggested the tater tots because of his lack of faith in what the second batch would look like or his kitchens willingness to even drop more. The worst part was the absence of an apology or customer recovery. The only reason my review stands at 2 Stars is due to the nice weather we had on the patio seating with a good atmospheric view.

We're CCT regulars. I loved the Whiskey Bacon Burger. She loved the Teriyaki Chicken and Rice Bowl. But we were absolutely blown away by the attentive, friendly, awesome service of our young waitress Lou. She checked on us frequently and refilled our drinks without us asking. Just little things that make her special. Thanks Lou and thanks CCT for another fab dining experience.

I wasn't expecting much from this place. It's in a nice location with great views, but the food isn't as good as it's ambiance. The nacho burger has no nachos in it what so ever. The cheese burger was dry, I asked for medium and it was very bland. The Queso dip had no texture to it.

Complimentary bread served with a tomato balsamic like dipping sauce. Prices are great given the craziness of how expensive everything in our current economy is. Food came out hot and fresh. That's a big deal for me. Don't give me warm food, give me hot food! The tartar sauce, and the ranch... so yummy. The chicken and berry jam sandwich is a great size. The pics can make it look small, but it's great. Parking= street Would I visit again: definitely

The server was pleasant but very matter-of-fact when I asked about the lobster bisque, simply saying it was on the way. The lobster bisque was flavorful, though saltier than usual. K said the Caesar salad was average. The bread was fresh and warm, though I would have preferred butter instead of the tomato sauce (even though the sauce itself was enjoyable). Service was slow overall and the food took a while to arrive. The crab cake was fairly bready and fried dark, but acceptable. K said the 14-oz ribeye was well prepared. The crab Oscar was overly salty. The mashed potatoes and fried chicken were solid choices. I substituted broccolini for green beans for a $2 upcharge, and it was worth it. The piano player until about 9 p.m. on Friday night added a nice touch, and the restaurant is attractive inside.

This review once again is LONG OVERDUE!! I apologize to the owner because we had a FABULOUS meal…read moreand experience. We were given a gift certificate by our realtor last year and waited for a special occasion since we were told it is pricey. Valentines seemed like the perfect time and it was! Made reservations several weeks before opting for the 13th of February and at 5 pm in hopes of avoiding the crowd. It worked. We arrived and were seated promptly in what they call the Al Capone booth which was for two and tucked towards the back wall which was cozy and private except much later the table across from us which looks out toward the table we were at, 4 people were seated. It wasn't a big deal as they were busy talking with their group. Our waiter was Jason (I hope I'm remembering his name correctly) and he told us he was fairly new. Great waiter, engaging with us, gave us excellent tips on the food choices, how things were cooked especially the steaks, which cuts would be best for us according to our tastes, very attentive our entire meal, didn't rush us through our meal and told us what to expect with the dishes we chose. Now we share our meals and opted for a 16 oz steak which my husband finished his half and I brought 1/2 of my 1/2 home along with much of our side dishes. I guess that means each side comes with a lot of food. We ordered the sweet potatoes, which was incredibly delicious, nice and soft on the inside and a bit crunchy on the outside. They have a caramel flavor bc of caramelized. Oh sooo scrumptious. The asparagus were nice a large and once again the flavor on them were delish!! Our steak came out on a plate by itself bc Jason said the chef likes to show the beauty of it. I agree, simple, but the steak on its own looked grand. It was cooked to perfection, so juicy and packed with flavor. It melted in our mouth. Worth every cent. The mushrooms along with the sauce flavor we chose were a perfect combo with our steak. The steak on its own was amazing but the mushrooms were delicious with the steak. The incredible rolls they serve are to die for. Light, fluffy and down right a perfect accompaniment to our dinner. My husband enjoyed his wine choice with Jason's recommendation. I had Jason take back my Lemon Drop Martini because it wasn't to my taste, just a bit boozier than I enjoy. The second time was much better. The manager Peril came to our table and introduced himself. Told us about the history of his restaurant and was a kind man. We talked with him about being from CA. Also how his restaurant being located in an area you'd never imagine having such a great restaurant would be was awesome. It's in this small strip mall right off Meadow Drive amongst other small shops. Not very grand looking on the outside but very nice and lovely inside. Very intimate feeling in the booths. I did notice they have a small bar area which was packed as well as small tables in the area. The parking lot is not very large with some handicap parking spots. Quite large inside with outdoor seating within a tent covered area with windows. We definitely will visit again, on another special occasion. Everything and everyone was GREAT and ever so tasty.

She provided great recommendations and honored a request I made. SHE added to a wonderful experience. THANK YOU LAUREN, YOU DID A FABULOUS JOB! Now for the review I HATE giving out 5 stars and was looking for a reason or excuse to knock them down to a a 4.9, but found NONE. The night was perfect. We were there to celebrate a birthday. As I included myself in the "Powers" reservation for four people, I insisted on paying for my own meal. PLUS knowing that my chances of eating there again were slim (visiting from San Diego), I wanted to splurge and indulge. :) I had the 8oz filet (cooked medium) with blue cheese crust, accompanied with 2 pan seared scallops. Oh my God! The steak was cooked perfectly. It had a nice sear while remaining perfectly cooked in the middle. I judge a restaurant/steakhouse by how well it cooks it's scallops. HAVEN eaten many, I know they are easy to mess up. Some places either over-cook them, or don't clean them well. However, these may have been the best I ever had. Cooked perfectly and with full flavor. The group raved about the loaded mashed potatoes and dessert. THE MEAL was awesome. understanding that everyone's experience there will be unique to them, "I" highly recommend you visit this place to have your own experience. I hope in the future I get to eat there again. THIS PLACE IS KEN HARMON APPOVED.

"There's something magical about rooftops. You feel like you're in 'Mary Poppins."…read moreGeorge Clarke There really is something special about being on a rooftop on a perfect summer evening, and it's great to have it right in downtown Sugar Hill. I would like to say I planned the perfect date, but as some of the best things in life, this was just an impromptu visit to cap off an already great evening. Outside of being on the rooftop, the bar itself is upscale yet approachable, service was fast and friendly. Being a bit of a self engrandized home bartender I'm a bit critical when out of my home lab, but their Smoked Old Fashioned wasn't bad. ("Wasn't bad" really means very good.") While I don't love the prices and hate paying a cover charge, when you throw in live music, a great vibe, and a view, I can't really complain. The owner made an announcement that whoever tipped the band $10 would get a free drink, and since most drinks were over $15 I thought that was cool on many levels. Will definitely be back to The Rooftop!

We walked around and finally ran into a waitress who told us to sit anywhere we wished inside or outside. The only area festive was inside a closed igloo and no heaters were on outdoors which was just a tad too cool for me despite the super nice weather that day. It would have been so to sit outside but without the warmth of the heaters we headed inside. We placed our order and explained we were just there for a pre-dinner drink and wanted to check out the venue so we didn't leave our tab open but we were quickly served the fabulous taking drinks on their menu(s). The Old Fashioned was on the regular menu and the Russian was on their seasonal tabletop menu. Server was very nice and took photos for some ladies we met. The only reason I can't give them a 5 star is they claim they are big on hospitality but yet we were not acknowledged upon arrival. Many restaurants and even some retail stores have a way to ensure they say hello/welcome immediately when you enter and without a hostess - the mindset should be that the bar or wait staff have a way to immediately say hello or welcome so those who have never been feel welcomed as well as those who frequently come. It would be nice to have a more festive decor for the holidays but that didn't affect my review; just a statement to say that the entire Sugar Hill area was pumping and themed with the holiday spirit then we walked in the only area decorated was not even accessible nor was it offered as an option to enjoy.
