Tri-Fecta® with a blueberry pancake and pork sausage
    Candice P.

My husband and I came here on a Saturday morning a couple of weeks ago and we really enjoyed our time at this restaurant. It was nice and quiet and not busy at the time we came. The hostess whose name was Jim who I'm not sure is the manager or not was lovely. He carried on a great conversation and made us laugh several times. Our server I can't remember her name, but she was the sweetest lady ever. She made us laugh too. She was attentive and helpful with suggestions. My husband ordered the Trifecta with a blueberry pancake and pork sausage. He said he really enjoyed the blueberry pancake. I ordered the elevated egg breakfast sandwich with grits. We ordered their donut holes (not pictured) and they were phenomenal. We took them home to go but they did not last past a few hours. Each plate was devoured. Everything was delicious and service here was great. We will definitely be coming back here in the future.

I went to First Watch years ago and had never been back because I didn't remember the food being all that great. So I was looking for a hot breakfast and decided to try them out and they did not disappoint! From the service to the food, everything was phenomenal. From the minute I walked through the door, I was immediately greeted and told her it was just me. She sat me at a table and Karissa came over with menus. I stopped by the bathroom to wash my hands. The restaurant and bathroom were clean. Karissa was very attentive and helpful as I decided what I wanted to eat. I settled on the Chile and Chorizo omelette with potato's and toast. I did upgrade the potato's and was so glad I did! The omelette was delicious and very filling! The upgraded potato's were sooo good and they weren't skimpy at all with bacon. It does come with multigrain toast but if you want to swap it out, you do have that option. Everything was really good and will definitely be back.

Finding FIRST WATCH on yelp turned out to be a very good experience. As I drove up, I saw the crowd standing outside and I concluded that this was the place to eat. The parking lot was packed although we did find a parking spot. Walking in, I saw people dressed in casual attire, some dressed up, and some in athletic apparel. The ambiance was exciting and fresh as there were all sorts of things going on at once. Me and my +1 stepped inside and one gentleman was awaiting to give his name. We were second and a gentleman came in behind us. I had a prime example of the phrase, the first shall be last and the last shall be first. I did not say anything about what had just occurred and then the hostess asked how many people and gave us a choice to sit at the front table immediately or we can wait 30 minutes. We sat at a long table that reminded me of the LAST SUPPER! Our waitress (Kimberly) came over and she was like a shaken bottle of Champagne. She was bubbly and full of energy. She made the visit that much more enjoyable. I ordered the shrimp and grits which consisted of sauteed Cajun shrimp without the tip on the end like most restaurants serve, andouille sausage, cooked low country still with chicken broth, roasted tomatoes and onions, diced green bell peppers and scallions atop of cheddar-parmesan cheese grits served with artisan ciabatta toast. The meal was very tasty, with a strong, tomatoey savoriness. My plus one ordered waffle and cheese grits. She really enjoyed the waffle as it was fluffy and light. I ordered biscuit with turkey sausage with egg to go for my grandson. I sampled it and the biscuit was so soft, (like butter). and the turkey sausage was really delicious with chunks of turkey sausage. The egg was fried to perfection. I would love to come back if I am in the area.

It wasn't hitting like it used to be today. Got a multigrain pancake with pure maple syrup and a side egg and it wasn't wow but the egg felt off. Also the silverware seemed not as clean as I had hoped. I know how dishwashing can be at a restaurant, but it just didn't look clean nor the plate the pancake was on, had a stain it seemed. That's not to say our waitress was terrible, she was great and also the plus of gender neutral bathrooms was great. I just think the quality and hype has gone down a lot lately.

First Watch is my goto every time. I always order the avocado toast on gluten free bread with two eggs over medium......simple, fresh, and perfectly done. The Morning Meditation juice is a must; the beet juice and ginger give it a refreshing, energizing kick. Consistently great food and a place I keep coming back to.

So happy to have a first watch in Gwinnett. The host and our server were so nice. The food was perfectly cooked and came out fast. The bacon especially is a must order - crispy and not too greasy. Egg sandwich was balanced and flavorful. I'd skip their sausage gravy because it's not creamy but it's still spicy and tons of flavor. Will be coming back!!

Loveeee First Watch! This is my first time dining at this location. There was a wait time and the parking lot is small. We sat near the back, close to the kitchen and it was fairly quiet. Our server was attentive and took care of us. We ordered two entrees and an order of French toast to try. I always order the Chile Chorizo omelette, and it was just as good. I'm not a big fan of French toast, but there's was impressive. This restaurant was definitely worth the wait.

I used to love this place. I won't ever be going back. The wait to get food was ridiculous. Obviously since I've been here before I joined the wait list, that's a must do for this restaurant. But we waited 45 minutes or so for food. The staff is very indifferent. It's soooooo loud and sitting on top of people isn't the best. But resides all that, the food was subpar for the price. I ordered a Farm House Skillet. Bacon, avocado, onions etc... Why I only had maybe a half a strip of bacon in it is a mystery? The potato's were undercooked and the whole thing was just mid. Don't waste your time or money here.

The rear of the shop has a projection showing an anime/tv show when I was there. Wood and white, minimal decor. Great place to work and hang out. --Service/Staff-- Early Saturday morning was managed by two women who were very attentive and quick with the drinks. I didn't even get a chance to explore the menu, so I went with my go-to drink. I thought about changing or trying another drink/latte, but she quickly rang me up. Not a bad thing, especially on a busy day. No complaints on the service. --Products/Service-- Cortado, what can I say. You can't go wrong, and it was good, nothing special. I kinda wished I tried some of their other unique drinks/latte. --Capacity-- Plenty of open spaces and tables. I would say the cafe can hold 20 people in capacity. I saw a lot of people taking their orders to-go. --Overall-- I will definitely be back to try some of their other drinks. I like the vibe in the cafe. My personal take, I wish there was more greenery in the cafe, but I kinda dig the cinder block holding up the fridge and table at the side. Beautiful cafe.

The Second Level / Upper Floor is reserved for if you are going to be ordering/dining in for the pastas and/or savory foods. I only tried their coffee today on the first level. I did go upstairs to check it out and did see a bunch of people upstairs just sitting and chilling on their laptops with their coffees/drinks; so they may not really enforce their "reserved for pasta dining only" rule. Not sure. Ambiance (First Level / First Floor) - clean, nice, laid-back, chill, cool environment. Casual setting. Cool architecture, design, layout, and decor. Can get loud inside as ceilings are high and can get echo-y, especially if there are alot of people. Also, there is music constantly playing in background. Service (First Level / First Floor) - customer service was quick and straightforward. They were nice and polite. A+. No complaints here. Coffee (First Level / First Floor) - tried their "Korean Iced Coffee" for $7.25. It was one size only and one price at $7.25. It was delicious. Almost similar tasting to a Vietnamese coffee in my opinion (both are delicious). That strong, brewed coffee flavor with this delicious milky, sweetened condensed milk taste. I am not exactly sure if they used sweetened condensed milk in the Korean iced coffee, but it sure does taste similar to it. It's quite good. Also had a "Large Hazelnut Hot Coffee" with creamer for $5.95. It was okay. Total with tax for the two drinks was $13.99. Keep in mind that the WiFi is on your receipt as a QR Code at the bottom. So if you want to use the WiFi, ask for the receipt and/or keep the receipt so that you can scan the QR Code in order to use the WiFi. Well, hate to be frank, but our Souffle Pancake was just very disappointing. While the pancake was nice and fluffy, the toppings and presentation wasn't even close to being as good as they used to be. I felt this was new management, with a whole, new style of doing desserts maybe? In any case, we did think the pancake tasted good...but it was just lacking in the creamy topping, as only the top layer had this creamy base. The lower 2 pancakes had no cream on it...and tasted quite bland. Even the strawberry sauce was minimal...so minimal, I went up to ask for more. Also, the decorative toppings, including the strawberry, were just BLAHHH. If you come here expecting the Strawberry Souffle Pancake of the past, you'll be disappointed. So nope...just not pretty enough for Instagramming. Made me wonder if the rest of the desserts have gone down as well?? For drinks, my husband had Cappuccino, and I had this Oohlong Tea. Not pictured, but the presentation was just passable...and the taste was just OK. If I recall, their drinks used to be presented beautifully as well as their desserts...but from the look of things, that may no longer be true. Guess I may give this place at least another try. Who knows? Maybe it was just an off night?? Hopefully I can upgrade the review on my next v visit...should the dessert and the drink look and taste better. Fingers crossed??
