Awake Coffee - Yuzu croffle, lemon croffle, latte

Awake Coffee in Suwanee is such a great spot! Even though they've only been open a short time, you…read morecan tell this place is going to gain a big following. Their menu is full of creative coffee drinks, and everything we tried was spot on. I ordered the Verde latte, a unique blend of coffee and matcha, and it was perfectly balanced--not too sweet, which I really appreciate. My husband got the Tiramisu coffee and was "very impressed." As a Colombian, he's particular about his coffee, and he said he was very impressed. That says a lot coming from him--he even told me more than once that I needed to write a raving review because of how much he enjoyed it. We also tried one of their Croffles (a croissant-waffle hybrid), and learning that they import the croissant ingredients from France made it feel extra special. The shop itself is bright and welcoming. I loved the little touches, like protective padding on table corners for kids--such thoughtful detail for families. They even surprised our son with a prebiotic drink, which made the experience even more memorable. On top of the great drinks and food, the service was warm and genuine. You can tell they really care about their customers. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in Suwanee. This spot is going to be the next big coffee destination!

I also tried their brown cream latte which is supposed to be like a biscoff flavor which is light, could be stronger. It had bits of biscoff in the drink too. The drinks came about to $7 each. They also had various kinds of croffle that I'd come back for.

My favorite order is the iced strawberry ceremonial matcha and fruit tart. I have also tried their iced Dutch latte, their strawberry cloud and a variety of their baked goods. Everything is always absolutely perfect. This is the best spot to get work done, catch up with friends, or for a quick coffee run. The inside is absolutely beautiful and serene. You can even see their cold brew and roasting through a window. Make sure to get their stamp card loyalty as well! I believe 10 stamps gets you a free drink of your choice! Love that they are open til 8PM, though I wish they were open a bit later.

I've been a regular at this café for a while, but my recent experience was extremely disappointing…read more I placed my order with the Asian woman at the counter -- who I later learned could be the owner -- paid for it, and waited. After 45 minutes with no update, I finally asked about my drink -- only to find out they had completely forgotten my order. Waiting 45 minutes for a simple drink is already unreasonable, but being blamed for bringing it up was even worse. They didn't offer a free drink or even bring the drink to my table after realizing the mistake. Instead of apologizing, the staff member (or the owner) who took my order walked away and ignored me. Another employee stepped in, apologized, and made the drink, leaving it nearby for me to pick up. About 30 minutes later, the original staff member(who could be the owner) approached me and, speaking quietly in Korean, told me it wasn't her responsibility to remember my order because I hadn't ordered any pastries. She also claimed their system prevented staff in the back from seeing orders--an excuse I later learned wasn't true. This means that all other staff don't know the order and still manage to fill the orders in the back when we place them. The way she spoke, switching to Korean and keeping her voice low, seemed intended to appear polite to others while implying that I should accept her illogical talking, while wasting my time there. I don't see the point that the owner is making that when she didn't apologize for her mistake, and instead deflected blame onto me while treating me like I was in poverty, since I didn't order pastries. Not everyone likes the old, stale pastries they have. But other workers are so understanding and great people, though. Overall, the interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional, and I left feeling gaslit and disrespected despite being a loyal customer.

They are next to the Ramyun Gallery and near an H-Mart shopping center. --Ambience-- White, minimal, relaxing space for a coffee shop. The rear of the shop has a projection showing an anime/tv show when I was there. Wood and white, minimal decor. Great place to work and hang out. --Service/Staff-- Early Saturday morning was managed by two women who were very attentive and quick with the drinks. I didn't even get a chance to explore the menu, so I went with my go-to drink. I thought about changing or trying another drink/latte, but she quickly rang me up. Not a bad thing, especially on a busy day. No complaints on the service. --Products/Service-- Cortado, what can I say. You can't go wrong, and it was good, nothing special. I kinda wished I tried some of their other unique drinks/latte. --Capacity-- Plenty of open spaces and tables. I would say the cafe can hold 20 people in capacity. I saw a lot of people taking their orders to-go. --Overall-- I will definitely be back to try some of their other drinks. I like the vibe in the cafe. My personal take, I wish there was more greenery in the cafe, but I kinda dig the cinder block holding up the fridge and table at the side. Beautiful cafe.

The cashier was really friendly and the food came out quick. I probably should have gotten a drink, but I got the Everything Bagel with Basil Tomato. I wanted a savory snack, but I got a somewhat sweet meal. The basil tomato cream tasted like there was sugar in it so that threw me off plus the everything bagel did not really taste like an everything bagel. I just have to remember that Korean cafes tend to be on the sweeter side. If that is your vibe, then you should come here! Minimalistic and cute space and vibes.

I picked this spot as a first meet, they apparently can't tell time. :D so I decided to write a review. I ordered chai instead of coffee and love that it's not syrupy and has a bit of a spice bite. The desserts look delish so I might have to come back when I'm up in Suwanee again.

Each dessert and drink is a work of art. I'm in love with this cottage aesthetic cafe. The desserts served here cannot be found anywhere else. I can't say enough about the warm welcome all customers receive. Must-try: 1 Chubby macaroons are loaded with flavor and have the perfect texture. The injoelmi flavor is perfect. 2 Basque cheesecake with adorable hand-scooped whipped cream on top. I tried the matcha, but will also try the ube and pistachio flavors in the future. 3 Viral chewy Dubai cookies These are extremely difficult to make. I've had these at a few different shops and the homemade ones here are the best I've had so far. Not too sweet and loaded with crispy filling. 4 Mini Cookies - currently the cookies are Nintendo and Sanrio themed. 5 Seasonal drinks - I tried the black sesame latte, which you can add matcha or coffee to also. Next time, will try the ube latte.

It's located in Suwannee Town Center and has free WiFi and plenty of seating, making it a perfect place to do some work or meet with friends. I wanted to try the sweet potato latte since it's not offered at a lot of cafes and was also able to add a shot of espresso to get my caffeine for the day. The latte foam was more like a cappuccino top but it was well made and delicious. The coffee and sweet potato flavor was a great combo as well, not too sweet and very tasty. They have a lot of desserts and baked goods, so I had a black sesame macaron, which was really satisfying. You could really taste the black sesame flavor in the shells and there was a lot of cream in-between. I'll definitely have to try the other flavors! The staff were also friendly and were happy to answer questions and offer suggestions (like adding espresso to the sweet potato latte). If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

Texture was crunchy shell and chewy interior. The flavor isn't too strong, lightly sweet, faintly mango but creamy. It was $4 and I'd get one again Overall, I loved this place. Everything was beautifully presented and not too sweet & they put care into the drinks! Definitely give them a try;

The Second Level / Upper Floor is reserved for if you are going to be ordering/dining in for the pastas and/or savory foods. I only tried their coffee today on the first level. I did go upstairs to check it out and did see a bunch of people upstairs just sitting and chilling on their laptops with their coffees/drinks; so they may not really enforce their "reserved for pasta dining only" rule. Not sure. Ambiance (First Level / First Floor) - clean, nice, laid-back, chill, cool environment. Casual setting. Cool architecture, design, layout, and decor. Can get loud inside as ceilings are high and can get echo-y, especially if there are alot of people. Also, there is music constantly playing in background. Service (First Level / First Floor) - customer service was quick and straightforward. They were nice and polite. A+. No complaints here. Coffee (First Level / First Floor) - tried their "Korean Iced Coffee" for $7.25. It was one size only and one price at $7.25. It was delicious. Almost similar tasting to a Vietnamese coffee in my opinion (both are delicious). That strong, brewed coffee flavor with this delicious milky, sweetened condensed milk taste. I am not exactly sure if they used sweetened condensed milk in the Korean iced coffee, but it sure does taste similar to it. It's quite good. Also had a "Large Hazelnut Hot Coffee" with creamer for $5.95. It was okay. Total with tax for the two drinks was $13.99. Keep in mind that the WiFi is on your receipt as a QR Code at the bottom. So if you want to use the WiFi, ask for the receipt and/or keep the receipt so that you can scan the QR Code in order to use the WiFi. There was no password on the receipt, only a QR Code that you need to scan. Overall - Yes I would recommend this place for a nice little coffee stop. Check it out for yourself. Enjoy!
