Love their lattes. It's a nice bright space to catch up with friends or get some work done. They have lots of pastries and a couple of sandwich options too. Parking is pretty easy to find.

Came here because I was in the area shopping at H-Mart and wanted coffee and pastry. It was a bit busy, but the attention from the nice young take orders was wonderful. I had questions on what was in some drinks and she took her time and answered me. The pistachio croissant was amazing! The almond cookie...good. The Choco Latte (half sweet) was amazing and the perfect pick me up after a day of shipping. I will definitely come back on my next shopping trip.

I really enjoyed my half sweet London Fog. It was creamy and served piping hot just like I wanted it. The cafe is clean and well organized. The customer service was friendly and answered a couple of questions I had about the menu. They have a few original drinks on the menu that were interesting sounding but I had already decided on my tea drink. The bathroom was spotless. I would gladly come back!

Blue Mountain Coffee Roasters is super cute inside - they definitely went above and beyond with creating a hip and modern but also welcoming vibe. I was super confused why any latte wouldn't include espresso but I suppose it's because Starbucks and most coffee shops in the US have conditioned us to believe that a "latte" should contain espresso, even though it literally means milk in Italian. The cashier didn't charge me extra for the espresso, which was nice, although they did charge extra for the drink being iced - $6.50 seems like a steal these days for flavored iced lattes but it hurt a little more back in 2022. My iced brown sugar latte was a-ok! Subtle and not too sweet. I'll have to come back next time to try their black coffee since quite a few comments have been raving over their Americanos - would love to check out the hype!!

Blue Mountain has been on my list of coffee shops to try for quite some time now. I was finally able to make my way over this past weekend on a drive up north. The coffee shop exceeded my expectations and was a dream. They offer interior and exterior seating, and the decor inside is exactly what you would hope to see in a place that makes you feel as if you are stepping away from real life for a little while. The staff was very friendly, and gave all of their recommendations when they realized it was my first time here. My husband and I ordered two drinks as well as one of their Macarons. His drink of choice was a Hazelnut Latte while I decided to try their Strawberry Matcha complete with Strawberry Cold Foam. The Strawberry Cold Foam alone is enough to make me want to come back here, but everything about their drinks was amazing. I myself am not someone who likes a grainy matcha and that is not what you get from here AT ALL. My Matcha was smooth and so flavorful. If you've had this place on your bookmarks list, take the chance and head on over. You won't regret it!

This coffee shop it a little gem! It's clean and they have a variety selection of flavors! The staff is very friendly with warm smiles upon entering. They also offer drive through services. This is my second time here & it definitely won't be my last.

Hawaiian Kona espresso

Some of the best espresso I've had in the Atlanta area. I've tried several dozen now and am starting to learn to appreciate a well pulled shot. Hawaiian Kona shot was the best I've had in Atlanta. I even got the elusive "sweet" taste that people say is possible from straight espresso. The Blue mountain espresso was also good but didn't taste the sweetness with that one. Will definitely be back to try the third bean.

White Ruby and Apple Danish

This is such a cute cafe in the Suwannee area! I stopped by here with a friend and love that it's open all days of the week until 8pm. I ordered the white ruby which was a white tea with peach syrup and an apple danish on the side. The tea comes as iced and was really refreshing with a hint of sweetness which is what I liked the most about it. The danish was also delicious with an apple filling, but next time I'll ask them to get it heated up. We got our drinks pretty quickly as well. There's plenty of parking out front and a drive thru as well! Inside, they are a good bit of tables to get work done or study with a friend. They also do seasonal beverages which I plan on trying next time!

Iced strawberry vanilla matcha latte

Wow! I've been looking for a matcha that I love close by and finally my search can come to an end! I got the summer flavor strawberry vanilla matcha. The matcha itself is amazing and tastes like real matcha. The strawberry vanilla flavor doesn't taste artificial and is the perfect level of sweetness! So yummy and my new favorite. The inside of the store is adorable and I love the decoration and vibe. The lady who took our order was so sweet and helpful.

NEW FAV CAFE ALERT!! I recently ordered here off of door dash and the coffee was so freaking good I had to come in person! The coffee here is fantastic and they have a great pastry selection! I would recommend the kouign amann, it's crispy, light, and fruity! For the drinks, I'm pretty sure everything on the menu is great. If u want something strong and classic, the Hawaii Kona Americano is great and for something sweet I would recommend the strawberry cloud latte!

Iced hazelnut vanilla latte and apple danish

This place is such a cute and comfy place for coffee and coworking. There is a good amount of seating and plenty of outlets for charging devices. I had an iced hazelnut latte and apple danish which were good and the pastry is served warmed if desired.

This is a very cute, cozy coffee shop! My daughter is begging for me to take her here. She loves the fresh baked cookies and of course the cofffee was delicious! The barista is friendly and warm! Will be returning!

VOLCANICA 7/5/24…read more EAST AFRICAN COFFEE STATUS & OUTLOOK Based on the USDA's latest outlook, Africa accounts for 11-12% of the world's total coffee production, including 10.5% of the Robusta crop and 12.5% of the 23/24 Arabica crop. There are 54 countries in Africa, but only about a dozen produce coffee. While Ethiopia accounts for most of it, the high-quality specialty grade Arabica coffee production is limited to 6-7 East African countries, including some very small countries with problematic histories. Located in the equatorial coffee belt, East African coffee benefits from ideal coffee growing conditions, including volcanic soil, high altitude, climate, access to fresh water and tradition. Conscientious processing, disciplined coops and dedicated smallholder farms also play a role. Coffee is a subjective topic and while good coffee can be found throughout the equatorial belt, the acid rich East African coffees are recognized as the world's most distinctive. The traditional varieties and grade from Ethiopia (Yirgacheffe) and Kenya (south-central highlands) are particularly noteworthy and often compared. While some would include 100% authentic Kona (miniscule production, hard to get & subject to fraud), the best Tanzanian and the crazy expensive Geisha (Panama & elsewhere) among the best, the coffee from Kenya and Ethiopia is widely viewed as the world's most consistent, distinctive and recognizable. Regardless of source, it is important to note that countries producing the most distinguished specialty coffee also produce average or worse coffee. In a way, East African coffees are like finalists in a beauty contents, it's hard to pick the winner. The contest is also dynamic, i.e., this year's crop winner could be next year's loser. While the demand for specialty coffee continues to grow, small coffee farmers have been burdened by an exploitive value chain. Living on a few dollars a day, Africa's small coffee farmers have had little incentive to produce the low yielding crop. If impoverished farmers do not get a bigger piece of the value chain's pie, higher prices and a shortage of high-quality coffee seem likely. FINDING REPUTABLE RETAIL ROASTERS When purchasing country of origin coffee, the quality will vary by crop year, terroir, region, sub-region, botanical variety, grade, processing, storage, logistics, roast and freshness. Excluding effective auctions, higher prices may not guarantee a better tasting coffee. Storage and freshness are key because coffee does not age well. Indeed, assuming the flavor has not been compromised by logistics and storage, fresh green coffee has a 6-12-month shelf life while fresh roasted whole bean has a 30-day window. As the importer of these potentially fine coffees, IT IS THE RETAIL ROASTER WHO DETERMINES THE QUALITY AND FRESHNESS OF OUR COFFEE. Finding a reputable retail roaster with good customer service, a good menu of single origin coffee and consistency is a Herculean task. Given the limited shelf life, always looming new crop and roaster inconsistency, the ongoing journey never ends. Organic, free trade, direct trade, sustainable, certified, relationships and consistent buying all make sense, but coffee that shoots the lights out on the cupping table is really what the specialty coffee game is about. While there are exceptions, roaster websites are not generally well developed or organized and many do not disclose all the information required to make an informed purchase, including the origin, roast, ounces per bag, processing, etc. Some lack contact information while others fail to follow up on inquiries. Many also use a poor choice of colors and fonts that make the websites difficult to read. Fortunately, many roasters specializing in East African coffee provide more detail and organized information, including the granular source, varietal, processing, roast and roast date. Blends are being hyped by roasters and while they might be relevant to coffee drinkers, they are not very relevant to coffee lovers that already know what they want. Affordability is another issue because there are high-quality single origin coffees that are affordable and offer real value. Indeed, many blends are priced higher than good single origin coffee. VOLCANICA EAST AFRICAN COFFEE: As Good As It Gets Volcanica is currently offering nine East African single origin coffees, including the Kenya AA (Nyeri Hill Estate), the Ethiopia Yirgacheffe and the Tanzania Peaberry (Nitin Estate, Ngorongoro Crater). All are washed and roasted light or medium light. In addition to being among the highest quality East African coffee on the market today, they offer real value. Indeed, Volcanica's 16 oz pricing is less than what many of their competitors are charging for 12 oz. Volcanica's website is also developed, organized and provides granular details appreciated by coffee lovers. JBC has also done a good job with their website development and disclosure. I have chased

I've traveled all over, had coffee in cities people romanticize, stood in lines at "famous" spots--and nothing hits like this place. Nothing. This is my daily go-to, and every single time I walk in, it delivers the exact same feeling: calm, grounded, present. The moment you step inside, the vibe is immediate--peaceful, welcoming, almost humbling. There's a rhythm to it. No chaos, no ego, just people who genuinely care about what they're doing. And that shows in everything. The team behind the bar? Phenomenal. Not just friendly--knowledgeable. You can ask anything, and they'll walk you through it without making you feel out of place. It's not transactional, it's collaborative. They actually involve you in the process, like they want you to understand and enjoy what you're drinking, not just buy it.
