I ordered the Sakura lychee yogurt and my daughter got the mango milk with bubbles. Both were amazing! The decor is sweet, the place is clean, and it's very open and welcoming. The folks who work here are nice and patient.
Yummy fun different flavors and combos than other boba tea places. They have an assortment of "toppings" to fit your taste buds. I got the Sakura Lychee yogurt slushie and it was like a smoothie so good! I was with my family and all 6 of us were happy with our choices
The staff on duty today were friendly and helpful while we were trying to decide what to order. The place is clean, and more importantly, the bathrooms are clean! These are authentic and modern style bubble teas. No powders or mixes here. All the tea-based drinks have real tea in them. The brown sugar pearls are properly cooked in brown sugar. The sweetness levels on the drinks are turned down to highlight the flavors and teas. If you're looking for a sweet milkshake this may not be the place for you. But if you appreciate good tea you will absolutely love these drinks! Best Boba tea I have had in the south east.
Stumbled upon the place while i was in the area. Nice ambiance inside and wall art. Plenty of options to choose from. We got Taro milk tea, strawberry guava slush, rosella strawberry with boba. All the drinks are customizable (sugar, ice level). Bonus points for milk substitue for Lactose intolerant folks. There is no surcharge for Oatmilk. The strawberry guava drink stood out the most. Delicious drinks with fresh ingredients! I got the strawberry Matcha milk tea and I will definitely be back. Employees were super helpful about modifications and answering all my questions since it was my first time in the shop.
My good friend Luke has been recommending this place to me for YEARS I went to Moe's to try their burritos (good but lacking the flavor that chipotle has even though the have served us raw rice before) but that's for another time. I saw the sign and was like oh boy modern tea shop is over let's try it !!! The second we stepped foot in that place it smelled STERILE AND CLEAN. I always thought their logo was kind of ironic because it is called Modern Tea Shop and well, just take a look at their logo the next time you go. But anyway the man at the counter was super nice and the service was great, the drinks were EXQUISITE, and the ambiance was great and there were a lot of traditional Asian things in there. ( I'm not Asian). My drink tasted like it was a smoothie and their boba was AMAZING. The next time I go I'm definitely getting the guava tea and I'll add a picture when I do that, but in the meantime enjoy this picture where the drink was so good that I drank like 3/4 of it before I remembered to ask my mom to get the picture. She got a drink as well and said el she liked it. And also if you get the large cup it feels reusable like those Starbucks cups you can buy. (Which I don't go to anymore because The Human Bean is just sooo much better. But anyways I would recommend it a lot and I am definitely going to back there again so yeah. Bye 10/10 would recommend
Passed by this quaint shop on my way to Walmart and thought I'd give it a try instead of driving out of my way elsewhere. I ordered the phoenix oolong milk tea as the worker mentioned it's not as floral as the osmanthus one. Phoenix was the oolong I was looking for and enjoy. I got 100% sugar which was mildly too sweet for me, but I do think less would've been not enough. Once the ice melted, it tasted fine. Tea could be a bit stronger, but otherwise, not bad at all. They offer two milk options which is lactic whole milk or planet oat milk. Looks to be the same price which is nice. Toppings start from .75 cents with a wide variety.
The lychee tea was so amazing! I've been craving lychee everyday since having this drink. It was my first time here and the customer service was wonderful. They were so nice and accommodating. They helped me with any questions I had about the menu. The brown sugar boba was subpar. Everything else was great and I'll definitely be back! It's so cute inside as well. Nice and quiet.
This is now my favorite tea shop! So glad I stopped by yesterday! There are lots of places to sit inside. The owners are friendly and willing to answer any questions you have about their drink choices. I got a fresh mango slush with cheese foam, and I added in popping mango topping. I don't particularly like tapioca boba pearls, as I find them to be too chewy, but the popping (mango) boba are light and a burst of flavor. Next time I need to try a different flavor slush with a different flavor popping boba. I will definitely be back! (Note, they do have regular boba pearls, if that's your thing. They have lots of choices!)

They offer unique combinations and are always happy to help with suggestions if you're unsure of what to choose. Customer service is always excellent here and it is always very clean. Our favorite drinks to order are the mix fruit slushy and the yuzu pomelo tea. The dragon fruit in the mix fruit slushy really stands out making it nice and light. The yuzu pomelo tea has a delicious tangy mix with tea if you in the mood for something sour. I love that their drinks are never overly sweet. They always have just the right amount of sweetness!
This specific shop only makes their taro milk with fresh taro, and you can taste the difference. Also, they have the rare mango pomelo drink that you will not find in a typical tea shop. Also, they take pride in their teas, so the drinks actually taste like tea. I was so happy to find this hidden Chinese style boba shop outside of Atlanta. Don't get it confused --- Yes, bubble tea was created in Taiwan, but Chinese style bubble tea is going next level with natural flavors, less sweetness, and fresh ingredients. The owner is typically at the shop and ensures excellent quality standards. read more

We absolutely love this shop! The extensive menu offers something for everyone, and the owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. My personal favorite is the green tea matcha slush with lemon and mango bobas, while my husband can't get enough of the Number 8--whatever that is! What truly stands out is the outstanding customer service and the warm, inviting atmosphere. It's refreshing to find a local business that genuinely cares about its customers and fosters loyal relationships. We stumbled on this little gem when looking for donuts. The guy who worked there was very friendly and helpful. He asked what type of taste we were looking for and based on what my daughter said he suggested the pink lychee drink. It was pretty and pretty tasty as well. We were there mid morning and it was pretty empty but I could see this place getting busy during peak hours. It was very clean and the staff was friendly. Overall I would recommend giving this place a try if you're looking for authentic teas or if you want to try and need recommendations! read more

Our new favorite spot for boba. The mango slushie was so fresh, you can tell they used fresh mangos. I can't wait to come back and try the other unique flavors like yuzu pomelo?? Sounds delicious! I probably wont go anywhere else in suwanee for boba except modern tea! Keep up the good work and keep making fresh fruit slushies! read more
Lots of parking by the store. Indoor seating is still not available yet. We were the only one there so our order was taken right away. But it did take awhile for it, I assume it is because they used fresh fruits. Taro fresh milk: no toppings and 70% sugar. It tasted very healthy...since they use real taro. You can eat small chunks of taro while drinking. I mean, technically it's good because it is healthier but it wasn't our type. Strawberry Peach tea: we asked for regular sugar but got 70% as well. This was the best of the three. Tasted quite refreshing. Dragonfruit fresh milk: no topping and regular sugar. Again tasted very healthy. They use a real dragon fruit so it's good if you are trying to be more health conscious. Plus it wasn't sweet at all. But not really my type. I did still finish it though. My favorite drink to get here is the matcha green milk tea - hot, during the colder weather. read more

Pretty solid boba shop. LOVE that they do not charge for milk substitutions. All tea shops should do that! All drinks are very reasonably priced as well. If they had board and card games it would definitely be a great hangout spot! Definitely would go again! read more
I'm a bit of a boba snob (lol)? But my criteria for good boba is that it needs to have a strong tea flavor and the boba/tapioca pearls are chewy and bouncy, and Modern Tea Shop definitely fits the bill! I've been coming here ever since they opened!! The drinks are definitely ~not too sweet~. I talked to the owner, and I found out that all the drinks start at 50% sweetness, so regular sugar should be fine when you order! My go-tos are: osmanthus oolong milk tea, jasmine green tea, and the rosella flower tea!! read more

This is my FAVORITE tea shop. I have been going here for my weekly pick me up for about 3 years now. Their fruit teas are SOOOO good. I believe it is run by a husband and wife. They remember what I like to drink and how I like it. They are so sweet and kind. Their service is always amazing. They bring your drinks to your seat if they are not too busy. I live for the pink lychee drink and the mango pomelo. Their matcha strawberry is to die for!!! read more

Ordered the oriental milk tea and I forgot what the other one was. Jasmine? For a relative. I just remember they were both decently good and they use fresh milk and that overall it wasn't too sweet. I'm lactose intolerant so I can't always drink too much milk so typically opt for a nondairy creamer/milk but today was cheat day. Unfortunately my stomach didn't sit too well with it. read more

I love coming here. Every time I come my drink always look so pretty and it's always very tasty. Might I add that the scenery is so pretty I wish they would open the inside completely but maybe soon they will think about it. Tried this place for the first time after hearing so many good things. Have to say, it might be my favorite boba place in Suwanee! The drink is super refreshing and actually has real pomelo at the bottom. There was also a lot of drink variety too! Definitely recommend over any other boba place in the area. read more

After searching and searching for a good boba tea shop- we have finally found one! We ordered 3 drinks today! I am super critical of black milk tea with brown sugar boba- and this one was amazing! Ceylon Black Milk Tea with Brown sugar boba and 25% sweetness is my go too! The boba was fresh and not chewy like in some other tea shops in the area!!! We also got the Pink Lychee drink and subbed the lychee jelly with popping lychee and LOVED it! And look how pretty it is! Another member of the fam got- Strawberry Passionfruit (Jasmine) tea- and LOVES it because you can actually taste the tea and not just the fruit like in many other tea shops! Can't wait to be back!!!! Go and support this fantastic tea shop! read more

If you try this boba tea shop you will not want to go anywhere else for bubble tea! Since being recommended to me, my family come here at least once a week. We have always been served by the owners, who are friendly and efficient. Their drinks are refreshing and delicious! We especially love the fruit milk teas and smoothies. Unlike most other bubble tea places, we love the amount of fresh fruit that is incorporated in the drinks we order. Try them, you won't be disappointed. read more
