The shop is really bright and cute with all the white decor. They have about ten booths, some tables in the middle, and they even have claw machines and card games available. I really wanted to check them out after seeing their "Hot Pot Boba" online-- I thought the concept was so unique and cool. I got mine with milk tea (obviously), two scoops of vanilla ice cream, boba, red bean, mochi, and strawberries. The presentation was amazing--it comes in a gold hot pot with dry ice in the middle so it looks like it's steaming, and it's all layered over shaved ice. I shared it with five other people, so we didn't quite get enough to go around, but it's definitely plenty for 3 to 4 people. --- The milktea itself wasnt super delicious or special but overall it was pretty yum We also ordered the Brown Sugar Rice Cake, which was really good! :) I didn't interact much with the staff since ordering is done through tablets, but I did have one interaction when they forgot the brown sugar syrup for my rice cake. i LOVE milk teas in general but this is one of the only places where i can tell it stands out compared to other bubble tea stores. the floral undertones are noticeable and match well with the fragrant tea base! i'm not a huge fan of super sugary drinks so the 25% sugar option is great here for what i enjoy. i think i've tried glaze, moonlight, and the charm (fav)- all were super yummy! i will say that the teas were consistently good except for one time that i went where i could tell that the tea was more diluted since the taste was a bit off and not as strong. hoping that was a one time thing but it was still good nevertheless! cute interior, very busy place. was self-service so didn't really interact with staff. read more

Absolute gem of a cafe! I highly recommended their Toasted tiger tea. All drinks are fully customizable in sugar content, toppings and milk. The service is fast, they have ordering kiosks. It is a neat and spacious cafe with minimalist with booth and tables. They also have a variety of dessert and pastries. I recommend trying them when in the area. Glaze Tea is a fan favorite of a friend of mine specifically for the Purple Taro Taro. I think it's probably the best taro drink also but the place overall is overpriced. All the other teas are comprable to each other. Sure, they use real tea compared to the powered stuff like Quickly but the price is almost double. I still think Kung Fu Tea or Tea Top has the best flavor, and Xing Fu Tang has the best boba, but to survive as a boba tea shop these days you need a gimmick. This place sell plushies also. We got the milk tea hot pot with extra milk. It was ok. Neat trick and photogenic but none of the ingredients really stood out. The whole time I was eating it, I felt like Meet Fresh would be better. A super underrated gem in the right in the middle of the Pleasant Hill area. Located in the plaza by the new Gohan AYCE, Chubby Cattle KBBQ, Canton House, Kickin Crab, this is THE place to go for tea drinks after a good dinner. They certainly have some unique options, and the menu / options can be a little confusing to understand so definitely ask for guidance, or check out some of the descriptions on the ordering kiosks at the front (the drink info is present there, and is not on the physical menus at the front). Tea flavour is quite excellent on a lot of the tea options, favourite ones have been the blooming jasmine, amber, and especially the moonlight. The teas overall again have good flavour so recommend cutting down the sweet to really taste the tea. "Modern" milk teas are lower in sugar and they are going for a more "refined" experience, you can't add any toppings for those and they want you to enjoy the flavour as it is. Drinks on the pricier end for the area. Some of the other options are a bit more offbeat, soybean milk tea was a highlight, and lots of people ordering the Durian drink - they use real durian in this and not powder so buyer beware (it is pricey, but worth if you like Durian. Couldn't be me) Tea hotpot is madness and have not tried so can't comment on this, but the place can get very loud if it is busy but is a nice hangout spot when it is emptier. read more

They had tea samples at the front, and it was hard to make a decision, but I liked what I ended up getting. It's pricier than other bubble tea places (my drink after adding grass jelly was ~$10!), but the tea and toppings taste great. When I heard about this Milk Tea Hot Pot place, I just had to try it...so I made it one of my first stops on my recent trip to Duluth. Again, this was run by a self-serving kiosk...and the place itself was quite spacious. Anyway, after about 10 minutes, my Milk Tea Hot Pot was ready...with full on steam coming off of it! BTW, I also ordered their Vineyard fruit drink...and it was amazing!! There were many options to create this hot pot...but I chose Black Milk Tea as the base, and 6 toppings (standard) in the pot. My choice toppings included Taro Balls, Boba, Blueberries, Mango, Vanilla Cream and Creme Brulee! Basically, you pour the base (Black Milk Tea, in my case) into the pot, which comes with shaved ice and then the 6 toppings...and Wa-LAAA!! Very expensive, but it's the makings of one truly luscious dessert!! There's just no end to magical asian desserts...and this is why I keep running back to Duluth and the surrounding areas lol! As big of a milk tea fan that I am, I knew I'd love this...and I was right. I hope to repeat the experience real soon...maybe trying on some new toppings?? read more

First time here with some girlfriends. It's located where the old Tan-Cha was in the old Toys R Us plaza. Everything about the store is aesthetically pleasing from the seating/decor to the presentation of the menu items! I really liked the idea of them having the mobile pad to place an order. Only bad part about it is if it's your first time there you don't have anyone to help with the menu. You just gotta figure it out on your own. I got the tiger drink and it was pretty good. I usually don't care for boba but theirs were really good and it was soft. We also ordered the Milk tea Hot pot which was pretty a pretty cool experience for the Gram. The Cream Lychee's cheese froth was overpowering; so the lychee flavor didn't quite come through. I would come back to try their ice cream and milk hotpots - looked amazing! Came for the very Instagramable hot pot. The parking lot is large in this shared strip mall space. The inside is light and bright and modern. We loved the half moon shaped booths and there are normal tables in the middle of the space as well. You can order at the self service kiosk or with a human up front. We ordered from the human and she was super nice. Among other things, they have a milk tea hot pot and an ice cream hot pot. We decided to go with the ice cream hot pot not fully knowing what it was. And it did not disappoint. Our party of 6 shared it and it was great! You get to pick 5 flavors of ice cream, which they put on dry ice. From there, you pour the milk tea in and it keeps everything cold! The tableware is a gold pot with gold bowls and unfortunately, they only give you 2 so everyone else has to use plastic cups. We asked for more gold ones, but were denied. That is what is keeping this from being a 5 star review. read more

Looking for a dessert place with bubble tea or coffee and realized I haven't been to Glaze Tea. Upon arriving you'll see a kiosk on the left where you can order. I made a carryout order for a Passion Fruit Cream Cake and Citrus Berry Tea + Mango Popping Boba. Ordering was easy. They also have online ordering too. The inside is nicely lit and spacious. It has the modern hip vibe instead of the dark cozy vibe. They do have guest WiFi here if you are hanging out. My order was ready in less than 10 minutes. The staff asked if I wanted a bag which I declined and also pointed me to the to go utensils. Very helpful counter service here. It is convenient if you're leaving Kang's or Yuki and want a dessert place within the same parking lot. After arriving home opened everything up and dove in. The tea was like a typical light green tea base. There were some muddled strawberries in the bottom of the container with a single thin slice of orange. I suspect the strawberries were freeze dried and then reconstituted. They weren't dry and crunchy in the middle and good flavor and texture, but the size made me suspicious. The cake was prepackaged in a square plastic container that was sealed. It's not one of the places with whole cakes for sale that are also sliced and sold by the piece. There was a single passion fruit seed on the top of the cake with some syrup which was disappointing. There is a layer of mango jelly on the bottom that was flavorful but difficult to scoop out. Probably too much agar vs. mango juice in the recipe. The cake was pleasant. One issue I had with my order was that the bubbles were bigger than the bubble tea straw they gave me. I had to use a spoon to dig them out. The downside is that my order came to $23.69 including tax and tip. While it was enjoyable it's not a good deal. The superfruit tea at Mogee costs less and it's about half of the cup volume filled with different fresh fruits that you will need a spoon to eat. The Berry Tea at Glaze is a single slice of orange and one or two strawberries and $.80 more expensive before you get to adding boba. The cake was priced at $11.49 which is a lot more expensive than a slice of cake elsewhere. It would be around $4 cheaper at other dessert places on Pleasant Hill or Satellite. I didn't stay to experience hanging out in the cafe, but it was about half full so it has atmosphere going for it. read more

Lots of milk tea and fruit tea options, as well as other dessert options like macarons, mochi, and ice cream. I recommend the Glaze Milk Tea which is a special kind of tea made with camellia flower. Silky, interesting taste - tastes strongly like white tea, unlike the green and black teas commonly found at bubble tea spots. Swung by for some bubble tea and found out glaze tea opened yesterday! We tried the mango pomelo slush and tipsy slush. The mango one is really yummy. I got less sugar and slush texture was a perfect amount of sweetness with the slight salt from the cheese foam. I substituted the crystal balls for boba but they still gave me the crystal ones. It was actually really good though, chewy like lychee jelly. Very refreshing! The tipsy slush was lighter and fragrant but it was a little too much on the light side. The lychee helped as a sweet topping but it would have been underwhelming without it. They were customizable and the workers were very nice. We also ordered the glutinous rice taro cheesecake for $12. It is a small box that's about 3*3" that's ready to go. The glutinous rice was really thick and there was little taro or cheesecake. It was rather plain. It would be better with more taro and cheesecake! Drinks were around $8 and they have a variety of desserts and milk tea hot pot.
