Jasmine Green Milk Tea
Edie K.

Came here after shopping for a quick drink. I ordered a Jasmine Green Milk Tea and a Matcha Milk Tea. The Jasmine had the monster boba in it, which was severely over cooked, it had no chew at all. The flavouring on the Jasmine Green was great I will say. The Matcha was not mixed properly. There was excess powder on the sides and covering the bottom of the cup.

I got a regular Thai tea with boba, nothing too special. I was a little skeptical of getting boba from Ding (I've just never had a good experience) but I can confidently say that this was probably my best experience with Ding Tea. The sugar and flavor content of the tea was ideal and delicious. The boba was soft, the perfect amount of sugary and warm. Honestly couldn't have asked for anything more. Makes me more open to trying Ding again in the future!! Wish more stores participated for National Bubble Tea Day

Tried this place for the first time recently and I was pleasantly surprised! They have lots of refreshing, citrusy drinks that are exactly my taste. The passion fruit lemonade and the peach flavor were especially delicious! The staff were friendly and the drinks came out really fast--no long wait. Plus, the drive-thru makes it super convenient. I'll definitely be coming back!

I visited this location when I was in ATL. The service was fast and the workers are friendly! I sat down inside and two minutes later my boba drink was ready. This DT was clean and their interior design looks aesthetically nice. I got the matcha milk tea with golden boba and it was a refreshing drink. This location has a drive through so that is a plus! Will definitely have to try that next time!

Best Ding Tea around. Drive through is very convenient & they have many specialty drinks. Enjoy the honey black tea!

I love the convenience of their drive thru and I discovered it after covid so I've yet to go inside. Service is usually pretty fast even when there's a line of cars. They just have you pull up and wait in a parking spot and they'll bring it out to your car. The baguette combo is a great deal and sandwiches are tasty but they always forget to add sriracha.. jasmine green milk tea and taro milk tea are my go to drinks. The taro isn't too sweet like some other places. The golden boba is the perfect chewiness and they don't skimp.

Great place for tea! I have a preference for ding tea's fruit teas over their milk teas. My go to drink is the Lychee green tea. It is flavorful and refreshing. I actually have not been inside the store yet, but I love that there is a drive thru, which limits contact. Love this during these uncertain times! They also offer Vietnamese Banh Mi's. I love that I don't need to drive to exit 104 to get them, and can also grab boba while I'm at it. If you have never had the sandwiches you should give them a try! The bread is light and airy, and they come with flavorful meats and veggies.

I really like this place. It's small and cute. Extremely clean. There's also drive-through available. They have delicious drinks and there's Boba available. I don't think there's any food inside there but the drinks are amazing. I've had a couple of them and I've enjoyed all of them although I don't remember the names. I know one of them was the taro drink and one of them was the lattes. I've been here several time and I crave more. Service is good and everyone is very nice. If you're in the area and wanna swing by I would definitely recommend it. It's definitely a good tea fix. Prices are decent as well. It's busy but never super busy. There is also a parking lot with free parking. Enjoy! You may see me there lol

I ordered 2 dishes to go (Mama's Chicken, and Bamboo + Pork) for my parents and me. I come to pick up the foods at the counter and behold, they give me 2 tiny boxes of white steam rice. No problem, so I asked for extra white rice. The front counter guy said it's an extra $1. I am like sure, he was then no, it's $2 extra. I was like, can you give me a bigger container than the tiny one you got. He said same tiny container. I was like can I just a one big one for $2. He said No, $2 for each tiny container. I was like seriously? I just spent $35 with them and I can't even get enough rice for me and my parents. Never in my years, have I ever had an issue about getting extra rice for any restaurant. This has got to be the cheapest restaurant in the world. I finally told the guy, don't worry about it. I didn't want to pay $4 extra for tiny containers or rice. They lost a long time customer for a such little dollars. Its the principle and they provided horrible customer service. I will not be coming back and I highly suggest in not giving these people any business especially on how cheap they are. I provided a photo of the rice containers that come with each entree. Nothing sucks more than having entrees and not enough rice to eat it with. Their entrees lack portions as their portions have gotten alot smaller as well.

It wasn't busy for a Sunday lunch but it's in a very tucked away location on Lakefield Drive. We ordered the beef noodle soup, gravy noodles, potstickers, XLB, and egg tarts. While presentation was great everything fell short except for the XLB and egg tarts. I do like that there is an option for a small portion of noodles - great if you want room to try other dishes. Noodles themselves were nice and chewy but the flavor and thickness of the broths felt like I was eating ramen instead of Chinese or Taiwanese noodle soups. Meats were tender. The gravy noodles had fish, pork, and duck in it and had too many mixes of flavors for us. The potstickers were large but too oily and didn't have much flavor inside. XLB were standard - I thought they were fine but could have used some more soup. Egg tarts were also flaky and good as expected. The waitress said be careful as they were hot from the oven but I couldn't wait since I love dessert. It was cold in the center lol. Otherwise flavor was great. Def have mixed feelings about this spot. Try it for yourself and see what you think.

I mean you're dancing on swimming fish. The food was good and they just kept bringing it. It was a great selection of small bites that allowed you to try many things. They even had a manned cash bar that made pretty good drinks at very fair prices! All in all the event was really nice. I was completely impressed. Now the guy who headed this up, Joe, and the rest of us did some work to get things set up and decorated but honestly the owner was there helping too! Seriously.. kudos... this was a great time!

Chinese food is based on the region the dish originated in China and not some nod to some general who never even had chicken... Ping's Place is the second stall when you walk in on the left. There isn't anything really much in terms of service. You walk up, locate the meal you want, drop you money, and they'll call you when your order is ready and you go and grab it. It's cafeteria style much like any food court. The ambiance isn't really anything to write home about either. it's a food court or more or less, a food strip with five different food stalls tucked on the left side of The Great Wall supermarket. So let's talk food. I've been hunting for a good Chinese beef noodle soup. Needless to say, Ping's isn't that bad. The soup itself was a bit bland but there was a richness to it that I found delightful. The noodles were al dente. The meat, tender as tender can be. It did have an odd irony smell to it but I did put white pepper, chili oil, and Chinese black vinegar into it so that might be something that gave it that weird iron smell but more or less, it was decent. Probably not the best beef noodle soup but better than some of the other joints I've had that claimed to carry Chinese beef noodle soup. I do recommend you check it out if you're already with sitting in the middle of a bustling Chinese supermarket.

What I found instead felt like a small echo of what the place used to be. The food has shrunk in size while the prices have climbed, which makes the whole experience feel out of balance. I ordered the bao because it used to be the star of the show for me. I still remember the way they were fried on one side before, with that golden crisp that added texture and soul to every bite. This time the bao arrived soft and much smaller than I remembered. The flavor was fine, but the magic was missing. It felt like the memory of a painting that has faded over time. I do want to say that the staff were kind and welcoming. They suggested a hibachi special, which I was not interested in, but they made the attempt to guide my order. Their warmth was the best part of the visit. I left with a sense of nostalgia for what used to be. Maybe the menu has evolved or costs have changed, but the experience simply did not match the picture I carried with me. I hope the place finds its rhythm again, because it once held a special spot in my rotation.
