On top of that, almost everything that normally comes with bingsu, including the syrup and fruit; was an additional charge, which made it feel overpriced for what you receive. The first time we visited, we were looking for a late-night dessert spot after dinner. The photos online looked inviting, so we decided to give it a try. However, when we walked in, it was extremely hot inside. I felt like I was sitting in the streets of Vietnam. There were portable A/C units and fans running, so I'm assuming they were having air conditioning issues. We returned a second time, and thankfully the temperature was much more comfortable, so it seems that problem had been resolved. The café itself also felt a bit cluttered and not as clean as I expected, especially for a newer business. The restrooms were another letdown. I accidentally walked in on someone because the bathroom doors don't automatically lock behind you. There are signs reminding customers to lock the door, but it's easy to see how people would assume it since you have to use a code to enter. But because there's a code you have to use a second lock to manually lock the doors. The only reason I'm giving it two stars instead of one is because they're open late, which is convenient since most other tea and dessert shops are closed by then. Unfortunately, the quality of the drinks, desserts, and overall experience would not warrant need to come back. Only the reason we did was because nothing else is open late. Really wanted to like this place as a new late night hangout.

The kiosks also have pictures unlike the print menu. My order was out in less than 5 minutes. Asked the staff for the WiFi password. It's taped to the wall behind the pickup area instead of posted on the wall in the customer area. They read it aloud to me but it's also written big enough to see if you know where to look. That was the only interaction I had with the staff but they were brief, direct, and polite so no complaints there. The beverage was good and a decent value. Some places are cheaper but the containers are smaller too. Overall this is a good place to hang out if you and your crew want a comfortable place that has boba. It's not as cozy as an independent coffee shop but it's more inviting than a lot of boba shops simply due to furniture choice.
