Cops was me and my best friends favorite study spot in high school. I reminisce the waffles and coffee I would get when sitting with my friends and filling out our college applications! The waffles are awesome by the way! I want super into coffee in high school, but my friends always raved about how good it was. Cips is newer to the Suwanee area but was years in the making by two partners who made this gem a cozy neighborhood coffee place to chill and get a great cup of coffee. They roast their coffee on site too! You can get a latte, cappuccino, espresso, or cortado. Organic teas, hot chocolate, matcha tea or even chai, literally something for everyone! They have subs for milk for peeps like me who don't do dairy when I can help it. Oat or almond milk are great options. One thing to make sure is that you bring your credit card. They are a cashless business. If you're looking for a spot to just chill and enjoy a really good latte which is what I had, look no further. Local small-town-feel coffee shop. The barista seemed to have a lot of friends coming in and out of the cafe, keeping him company during his shift. It made the environment seem happier and livelier. Things you should know: I. PARKING Within a plaza. There's a shared lot out front with plenty of available, free spaces. II. SERVICE They have some good things going on here. Their syrup flavors are clearly listed on the menu and include a lovely sugar free option for people like me who avoid guilt. Also various milk alternatives. Stopped in to get coffee this past weekend. We came in one Saturday afternoon. It wasn't too crowded when we came in. There were a few people working. The inside is super cute. Cute coffee shop! I stopped in on a Saturday morning and the cafe was half full and luckily there was no wait to order. Service was fast and friendly. I had the waf-ella with strawberries and drizzled nutella $8.75 and the hot chocolate $4. The hot chocolate wasn't too chocolate-y and had a very light flavor and generous portion size. Tried this place yesterday because I needed somewhere to work in the area since I had somewhere to be right after work in Suwannee. I hadn't read any reviews or seen any photos, I just saw it was right next to where I was going on Google Maps so I went. I was in shock when I walked in. I was not at all expecting the place to be so cute and the atmosphere to be soo quiet and nice. The aesthetic was very clean/chic. Every table had outlets and usb plugs and the staff was very friendly. Everyone sitting at the tables were working on their laptops. It was the perfect co-working or study spot! The food was very good but a little bit expensive especially for the size. The iced latte was a bit smaller than average and a bit more expensive but it was very good and the service + environment of course made it worth it! It was a little crowded. Luckily there was one table open when I got there in the morning but I would suggest getting there early. There were plenty of parking spots out front and even a nice patio area for nicer days. read more

Came in here to just to go coffee with my service dog and the person working was so rude saying I can't have a dog in here. If she was nice about it, I would've told her he's a service animal and showed them his ID but she was so rude I just left. What kind of person pushes away a customer trying to to go a coffee... if I was dining in I would've understood but the tone and attitude she had was so disrespectful. Met a friend here one day for coffee and was pleasantly surprised. The service was great, the coffee was good, and the waffles were delicious. There are multiple little tables to sit at which makes it a good place to work at because you can sit at a small table and not take up a lot of space if you are there for a few hours. I do wish they had a few more food options specifically savory ones because sometimes you need something that's not sweet to balance out getting a sweet coffee. Good seating, great coffee & tea, chill vibes on the playlist, outlets with USB ports and the WiFi was jumpin. Truly heaven! I have been waiting for this nice roaster to open since their sign went up. Finally had a chance to try them today, and here is my fair review. Upon entering, the place looked really cozy, yet modern - yes, they have a few tables for you and your friends to sit down and strike that great conversation over their fine coffee. Oh yes, that wonderful fine coffee aroma makes this place 100 times more charming. Today happened to be a rainy day, and that sound of rain hitting the metal ceiling made me feel like I was back in Seattle during my college days enjoying a great cup of coffee. Tried their latte to start, and it packed a wonderful flavor from that freshly roasted coffee. I could tell the roasting was well done to bring out the best flavor from the beans - I always look for that nutty flavor in the coffee oil that comes out when roasting is done properly. I must say I'm really excited to have this wonderful place in my neighborhood as my go-to place for wonderful coffee. I really recommend everyone to check out this charming locally owned roaster if you have not yet done so. Love this place! Highly recommend the coffee and yummy açaí bowls (only things have tried so far). It's a good place to get work done too-- at least that's my excuse for going so much. I'm VERY happy about the extended hours that are coming in March. It's also easy to miss Cips--don't think I would've ever noticed it, if a friend hadn't taken me there. My wife and I have been going to Cips Coffee Roasters for a few months now at least once per week and buying pour overs. We are somewhat new to learning great coffees, and we really like several of their roasts. Until the last week I would have given them 5 stars. However, the last 2 times we visited them, the barista used water from a water heater type machine that is maybe 170 degrees and not heating it any further to perform the pour over. Previously they used this water to pour into an electric kettle and then heated it up to perhaps 198 degrees, which is proper. Now the coffee is served just very warm and is not fully extracted which produces a much less than ideal cup of coffee. I'm not sure if Cips has changed owners, but something has happened to make it much less desirable, which is a shame. The barista was very nice and professional, but the owner should get more engaged in the quality of preparing their drinks. We love this place and hope they don't start losing business due to what appears to be a management weakness. read more
