A friend of mine likes this place and stops by whenever she is in the area! Knowing that, I was curious. I'm not familiar with Yemeni drinks, but for my first experience, I found it nice! It's a big space with lots of windows. It's a lot of ambient noise if you want to catch up some work in a new environment. With the choice of coffee or tea, I opted for the Shibam latte since it's their signature item. It was good though I will confess I'm not a big coffee drinker and should've gotten a tea, even if it seemed very similar to chai. The desserts were good too, but I found the honeycomb one to be a bit dry and bready. Some don't have much cream cheese, but it seems very popular, so perhaps I didn't get a good one that day.
The french vanilla absolutely yummy. The Shibam latte was delicious! Tiramisu could be better. Runny but tasted good. Gorgeous coffee house though. Love how spacious and bright it is. Something different. I would love to give this place more stars but I love good service and the service was here was terrible. The young guy at the registar didnt want to answer our questions. It felt like pulling teeth. Some of the pastries were not labeled so we needed assistance finding out what the different varieties were but the young man was not forthcoming. Bathroom floor was wet and no paper towels or toilet paper in the toilet paper holder. Clean bathrooms go a long way! The door handle was wet from the previous person visiting the bathroom. They can do better especially for a slow sunday afternoon. We paid $29 for everything tip extra.

There's nothing quite like a good Yemeni coffee shop, and Shibam is all that and more. I'd heard about Shibam when it first opened and knew I had to check it out next time I was in the Atlanta area- and it did not disappoint one bit! It is absolutely gorgeous, with golden accents and lighting, and a bright interior that is so clean and grand feeling. There's tons of seating so you can sit and enjoy. The coffee was perfect. Hot and smooth with a hint of sweet but not overly. I had a Shibam latte which had a lovely bit of spice added to it. Even the pastry we tried was nice, it was moist and came with honey for dipping. Overall the experience here was top bar. It's a beautiful cafe with great drinks.

This place is pretty great for catching up with friends or knocking out work.

So you never have to worry about finding a seat at least when I was there. It could definitely be a coffee shop that I would work at with my laptop. They had a bunch of different types of coffees that were very unique. I ended up getting the pistachio latte hot. If you get it for here, it comes in a really nice coffee mug. I really like the pistachio flavor on the coffee. It was a nice nutty flavor. There are plenty more flavors to choose from so I will definitely be coming back. Service was quick, didn't spend too long waiting either
First time trying Yemeni Coffee, and as a self-proclaimed bean head, I was intrigued. The flavor offerings were interesting and definitely worth exploring more on a return visit. There's also a small selection of pastries available. The space feels comfortable and well suited for settling in with some work, which makes it a nice spot to linger rather than just grab and go.
As soon as you walk in you feel like you're walking into a palace of gold! The decor is beautiful ! There are deserts and QR codes for menus. They offer a variety of milks and different kind of rare coffee blends. The staff is friendly and helpful and the coffee was delicious!
Had lotus latte & croissant with honey and it was delicious! I recommend getting a hot latte since the lotus butter doesn't get dissolved in the iced one. Servers were friendly & the place is clean!
Found this cafe by chance as we were in North Point area shopping for furniture. Decent drinks and dessert. Ample seating, bit doesn't give the cozy cafe vibe though. Just normal table and chairs. Friendly staffs working the counter.
I heard about Shibam Coffee on social media and I was drawn to how beautiful it was decorated inside. It gives "Dubai Bling" vibes in terms of how nice it is inside. There are lots of tables and chairs for seating, as well as free wifi for people who want to study here. The service was typical for a coffee shop, but it looked like it was being run by two people at the front so depending on the time of day, service might be fast or not. My friend and I got the Pistachio Latte (Iced) and Shibam Latte (Iced). There is the option to get their lattes iced for an additional 50 cents, which I would recommend if you do not like hot drinks. The Shibam Latte tasted like chai and I would say it was okay to me. Meanwhile, the Pistachio Latte was heavenly! The pistachio sauce and steamed milk gave it a nutty and sweet flavor (although it does get a bit stronger tasting at the bottom of the drink). This is a cute place with good drinks (and pastries which I did not order). I would recommend this place to anyone if they want to try Yemeni drinks!
What a beautiful coffee shop! You are immediately taken aback by the wonderful aroma as soon as you walk in and greeted by nice baristas. They give you plenty of time to scout the menu and decide what you want and are very accommodating to your questions. I ordered a dragonfruit lemonade, my husband got a shibam coffee, and we got a pistachio tart. We got a beeper, and it didn't take long for it to be ready. We were able to grab a seat and they have plenty of places to sit. Everything was handed to us on a tray and everything looked visually beautiful and the taste was wonderful as well! We will definitely be back!
Look at my Bride's expression and tell me what I think about Shimba Coffee - Outstanding! We ordered to go, but decided to sit down. That caused us to miss the lovely mugs and artisan artwork with the Crème. It did allow us to talk quietly while the freshly brewed coffee cooled to a temperature we could bear. We'll be back and try the wonderful looking sweets.
Amazing! I came here to meet with some friends and this is the best cafe in the area I've been to. Food and drinks were amazing. Last time I had the Honeycomb Bread and Pistachio Latte which are popular, on my return I had the Shibam Latte and Sabaya. Not a single complaint on everything, the pistachio latte was very soft and easy to drink too quick, the Shibam was a pleasant mix of spices and coffee, the honeycomb bread was almost like having a sweet bagel with tasty honey cream cheese, and the Sabaya was like a super flaky croissant that pleasantly mixes with the lattes. Service was amazing. Muneeb helped us pick something that matched our tastes and was very happy to have us. Atmosphere is just as fantastic as the food. This place is very well decorated and clean, with ambient lighting to add to the calm tone. I enjoyed talking to the people here for the "Smash Brothers" tournament going on during my visit. Overall A+. Will return soon! read more

A great Yemeni coffee, from the birthplace of coffee. They have Yemeni, Saudi, Turkey coffee with many savory items and pastries including Ras Malai(Indian) cake. Their honeycomb is heavenly. They have coffee and teas as well. Some of thier coffees are made with coffee nut husks. Nice looking interiors, very bright and feels very posh. A nice place inside... very light, open and decadent. The service was great... nice people... however the Carmel Kate I got tasted like just cream. No coffee flavor and no Carmel flavor. I'm not sure they even put coffee in it it was so non coffee flavor. Then there was the coffee grounds. As I got about 3/4 done with it I got a mouth full of coffee grounds. YUCK!! Disgusting! Nothing worse than taking a big mouth full of coffee mud!! Not impressed at all. read more

What a surprising find in Alpharetta! My friend & I visited this cute coffee shop today to try out their pastries and we instantly fell in love with the stylish and bright decor. The pastries on display looked too tempting and I settled for the Rose Milk Cake which was fabulous. The consistency reminded me of Tres Leches with a perfectly complimenting Rose flavor. My friend got the Chocolate Mocha and she loved it too. We got our food in less than 5 minutes although the place was packed with people. The only reason why I couldn't give it a 5 star rating is that the music blaring in the background was extremely noisy and not helping the already very crowded atmosphere. I think we went on a day where they were hosting a cultural event due to which parking was extremely hard to find as well. But, these won't stop us from re-visiting this spot again :) read more

I really really like this place. It's a Yemeni coffee shop and the space is beautiful and open. The barista was really knowledgeable and helped me decide on the Shibam latte which was full of spices but it was also sweet. I also got a biscoff milk cake. It's a great place to come and work remotely. I'm coming back specifically for that pistachio milk cake! read more

Visited Shibam Coffee for the first time this week for a late night study sesh and was instantly blown away by the ambiance. The space is stunning and there are an abundance of tables to sit at. They have a mix of coffee drinks and beautiful pastries that I did not try this time but intend to come back for. I tried a Ginger milk today since I didn't want any caffeine, and it was a little underwhelming with the ginger flavor. The service was very friendly and they have buzzers they give you while you wait for your order so you don't have to wait by the counter. Overall, I'm excited for this addition to Alpharetta! read more
My party of 3 had an amazing experience at Shibam coffee. The interior was new, clean and bright. Service was quick, desserts were well crafted and the coffee were a nice and balanced. This is definitely an amazing place to either hang out, study, or even to catch up with a friend. 10/10, would come again. read more

Enjoyed the vibe. White and wooden themed place with big windows, a perfect place for relaxing and charging up! I was not in the mood of caffeine, so tried their peach mojito and dragon fruit beverages :) i m in love with them the second I saw them out in the glass! Very pretty layered! The mojito is sparkling, a perfect pretty chill drink for summer time! The dragon fruit is the mixture of juice and lemonade, a lovely "pink drink". There are lots of people over the weekend, so not a perfect spot for quiet place. but the staff are friendly and helpful. read more
Wanted to come check this place out while I was visiting Atlanta. The cafe is really big and the vibes are nice. Service was good, as well. I got an iced Yemeni latte. It was good! I did have to stir it up quite a few times because I kept sipping chunks of cardamom powder, but it was still good despite that. read more
I love this place. I usually make my own syrups and lattes at home but my husband and I ended up here twice, once with friends from out of town and then just the two of us. If I will spend money on coffee nowadays; it better be worth it and this place is. I will always get their pistachio iced latte as it's sooooooo good and their bread with cream cheese. We came here late one night since they have extended hours for Ramadan. This coffee shop is beautiful, but be prepared to wait in line especially if it is after iftar. We were able to save a table while we waited in line. I also loved that they had a prayer room ! I got the pistachio latte and my husband got a strawberry mojito. I really enjoyed the latte. It was on the sweeter side, but really good. The mojito though tasted like sprite and strawberry syrup. So definitely think to try their coffees instead of refreshers. I'm excited to come back and try other lattes / teas. read more

I loved trying this new coffee spot! I got a matcha of course and I enjoyed it! The pistachio dome treat was definitely the highlight of what we ordered! It's an order at the counter and pick up at the counter type of place. They have lots of seating and free parking! I'll certainly be back soon. Shibam Coffee caught my eye on Instagram with its creamy and rich looking drinks and desserts, so I had to check it out. The coffee shop is easy to find, just off the exit, with a decent amount of shared parking. Walking inside, I was impressed as the space is huge, beautifully decorated and filled with plenty of seating. I visited on a Saturday around 1 p.m. and it wasn't crowded at all. That worked out perfectly because I had a lot of questions about the menu. The young woman taking my order was patient and helpful, taking time to explain the different drinks. I went with the Shibam Latte, one of their most popular options I'm told. I wanted to experience the Yemeni approach to coffee, which seems to center around rich spices. My total came to $8 after tax for a medium, which felt a little pricey, especially since I didn't upgrade the milk due to the fact they were out of half-n-half. But the flavors were bold and warming, making it worth the try. I enjoyed it and love that they don't fill their cups with ice like most coffee chains do. There are plenty of other interesting drinks on the menu too, so I love the fresh take on coffee they're offering. Overall, I'd visit again to explore more of what they have like the Pistachio Latte. read more

Giving this 3 stars only. Beautiful decor jummah drink and snack special on Fridays. Ordered a Pistachio Latte hot with oat milk. Told the person we don't drink dairy products what were the alternative Milks. Oat or almond cool appreciate the options. We got our order and it was a cold pistachio latte. They remade it but it does not taste like anything other than oat milk, and coffee. We asked if the Yemeni Strawberry Lemonade had any dairy milk, cream the employee told us no. It has a white froth to it so I'm not certain if it has dairy. Really sad because I have a dairy allergy. So I had to throw it away. Definitely would not go out of my way to come, only if I was in the area would I come back again. Had high hopes for it read more

Came here for the first time after Iftar during Ramadan, and I have returned several times since then! Shibam Coffee is a stellar addition to the Alpharetta community. Of course, I have to recommend getting the Pistachio Latte, honeycomb, and ras malai cake. However, Shibam has something for everyone, even those who may not be as caffeine inclined. During one of my visits, I got one of their refreshers, the Shibam Royal, which included mango, strawberries, banana, and was similar consistency to a smoothie- extremely delicious. I look forward to coming back to Shibam many many more times! read more

I visited this cafe with my friend and it was so beautiful inside! The service was fast and staff were so friendly. The interior is absolutely gorgeous. The warm ambient lighting and ample seating made this a cafe ideal for a chill study session. I got the knafeh cheesecake and my husband got the pistachio milk cake. It was so hard to pick a dessert because all of them looked so good! We both loved the desserts - incredibly generous portions, delicious flavors, and not overly sweet. It was perfect! I also enjoyed my drink - it was refreshing but I think a bit pricey for the size and contents. My husband got the tea and enjoyed it a lot - it was nicely spiced. We definitely intend on returning here to try more of their wonderful bakery options! read more
Great spot to experience authentic Yemeni coffee. Love the modern vibe along with shibam city skyline on the wall and other decor! The Shibam Latte was smooth and full-bodied with warm notes of cinnamon and cardamom. They have other coffee menu, so im gonna come back try it all lol. They also have kids menu too. The Matcha Latte was creamy and well-balanced. My favorite was the Shibam Royal mango shake--thick, refreshing, and just the right amount of sweetness. The Dragon Fruit Refresher was tropical and sweet. For dessert, the Rasmalai Cake was soft and floral. The Matcha Chocolate was beautifully topped with rose petals and pistachios, adding a mild floral scent that enhanced the matcha flavor. The pistachios at the end made it even more enjoyable. Definitely worth trying! read more
