Candidly, I have never been disappointed in a latte before. The $8 latte here tasted like water. Even the $1 extra for honey could not be tasted. Granted the decor/motif are very clever. Super cute cafe in downtown Alpharetta. Theme of airplane is adorable and I love how they have actual airplane seats as well as a kids' area with books and toys. It's a perfect place for a playdate for parents who can get some coffee while kids play with their friends. The baristas and cashiers are all really nice and will explain in detail the various coffees they have. Matcha is the hot thing these days so I had to try their matcha latte with their oat milk. You will never go wrong with matcha! I visited with a friend but I can't wait to go with my three year old who loves planes! read more

This is such a cool, quirky idea! The decor in here is as if you are in a plane, complete with ACTUAL plane seats..with seatbelts and tray tables! They have a little airplane cart full of toys for the kiddos. They have coffee passports so you can track the coffees you've tried. I'm in love with this whole concept. I got a lavender iced coffee. Delish. I forgot to ask for half sweet, so it was a little over sweet for my liking, but I could still taste the coffee, and it was good! The staff were friendly and made the coffee quickly. Delicious and they have a drive thru! I stopped by right at 7am as they were opening and opted for the drive thru. I love the seasonal menu they posted for fall but wanted a classic iced latte with almond milk. I added vanilla and it was perfect! Not overly sweet but just the right amount. I also tried their bacon, egg and cheese bagel on a plain bagel but they also have everything bagel if that's your jam. It was tasty, filling and hot! This was a great start to my morning and I highly recommend stopping by or driving by if in the area. read more

I've always loved this place, starting from doing a coffee tasting from their location in Milton to their farmer's market booth at the Alpharetta's farmer's market. I finally got the opportunity to stop by and try this location, and it's just as good as I remember. I went to Boarding Pass Coffee for the first time today, and let me tell you it has the cutest aesthetic! I love the decor, especially the airplane seats. It really helps transport you to another location. I'm a big coffee girl who doesn't like to go too heavy on caffeine, so my go-to order is a decaf latte. When I inquired about decaf, my barista helpfully let me know the origin of the coffee beans and recommended some of his favorite flavors on the menu. I tried the toasted marshmallow and absolutely loved it! I like a little flavor in my coffee but I can't stand overly sweet drinks, and I found this one super well-balanced. I only had time for a pickup order today but can't wait to come back and fully enjoy the environment. A welcome addition to the Alpharetta coffee shop scene! read more

Cute little aesthetically pleasing coffee shop, very reminiscent of travel, hence the name I guess in downtown Alpharetta. I grabbed a latte and loved that they had two sugar free syrup options (versus one at Starbucks) which was a nice surprise! However, the latte while good was way overpriced and I honestly didn't get the jolt of caffeine I needed or expected. So I only give four stars versus five for this reason. Space inside is good, plenty of seating along the bar overlooking the shops and tables towards the back, with games and books, so perfect to connect with friends and very family friendly. read more

The service was nice. The coffee not so great. A few weeks ago I ordered a black coffee as soon as they opened at 530am. The coffee tasted like they heated up last nights leftovers and handed it over. I would have waited for them to brew another batch. I decided to give them a 2nd chance today. I asked for a latte and a warmed up croissant. The croissant was warmer than the latte! So disappointed. I love this location. It's close to my house and it's so nice to have a nice cup of coffee that isn't Starbucks. If you're gonna compete with Starbucks, please make sure your coffee is made by 530 for your early customers and make your coffee warm. Thank you. read more

Zei greeted me with genuine appreciation, not heavy or robotic. The attention to detail in recreating an international travel experience works very well. I ordered an Americano in a mug with cinnamon, honey and a touch of half & half. Zei ask me what color of mug I prefer, I went for the blue. Zei prepared it exactly as I do at home, but the coffee here is much better than mine. I also had a conversation with Josh on Atlanta area independent coffee shops that roast their own beans. Boarding Pass has a great roasting story and has created a unique flavor using coffee from their family coffee estate in Brazil. I also ordered a cinnamon role and Jax brought it to me. I love sitting in first class Delta seats with the tray extended! The playlist was incredible this morning, although I didn't expect Tom Waits "The Day of Roses", that teared me up! Btw the two bathrooms are clean and gender neutral just like we all have in our homes. Thankfully they don't follow the same design as an airplane head. read more

The ambience is unique and I had high hopes. I ordered a black regular drip coffee at 12:16pm. The person behind the counter wearing a baseball cap asked 2 questions: 1). For here or to go? I replied for here. 2). Do you want a mug? Me - ? What? No explanation offered. I believe they charge extra for a mug? Still unclear. At 12:30 I still hadn't received the order coffee. The young lady actually delivered food and beverages to a couple that ordered after me. I had to ask for the ordered coffee. Her response "oh yeah." Coffee delivered at 12:30pm. The dark roast was smooth and without bitterness. I'll scratch this location off my list, but will try the other location in Alpharetta. read more

What a great coffee shop! Stopped in after seeing a post about it on instagram and have fallen in love. First of all the coffee was delicious. My go to is a cold brew and to me is a great indicator of a coffee shop and lets me know if the shop really knows how to handle coffee. The cold brew has great flavor and tastes like it's from a small batch. I grabbed a muffin to eat too, and it was delicious. Staff was great and knowledgeable and checked in on us while we sat in the cafe. The interior and theme of the store is really unique. My 3 year old LOVED the airplane seats and the "windows." There's a "flight attendant" cart in the cafe that is full of toys and coloring books to keep little ones busy which was a wonderful find since I forgot to bring something for my little one! The breakfast bagel sandwich with bacon, egg, and cheese was really good and probably one of the best I've had in ATL. The service was also great and the staff was super friendly and cheerful. The only thing I will say is that while the coffee shop is cute on the inside, the airplane theme was lacking a little bit but still pretty cute.
