"Midtown" Croissant Bacon Egg Cheese Sandwich

While looking up different cafés in the area, we came across 404 Coffee. It's Black Woman Owned, so we definitely had to check it out. 404 Coffee is a nice little coffee shop in the Pittsburgh neighborhood. There's street parking in the neighborhood. Upon walking in to the shop, you get a "Welcome to Atlanta" feel. The walls are decorated with pictures of African American icons and pictures of Atlanta. There is a menu posted up front but you can place your order and pay online from the barcode at the counter. There are so many menu items to choose from, and they all have Atlanta themed names. We ordered the "Midtown" Croissant, "Downtown" Waffle sandwich, "Freaknik" Brown Sugar Latte, and Oreo Frappe. I can't wait to come back to try more. The owner, Kelli, is awesome!

I've been dying to check out this coffee shop. I love that everything is Atlanta inspired. I had the MLK strawberry peach matcha lemonade and a cinnamonbon. Hands down the best matcha I've had in Atlanta!!

Sadly the hashbrowns needed more cooking. They were on the soggy side. The burrito is small with hardly anything in it besides eggs that need to be seasoned. When she delivered it in the tiny bag that was light as a feather I asked where the rest of it was. I definitely don't think anyone would get full eating it. Save your money. It's not worth it.

Bacon, egg & cheese on a croissant

I happened to be working near this cute little coffee shop early Sunday morning. I decided to wander in and I'm sure glad I did! I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant, which was made fresh after I ordered it. I also ordered an iced dirty chai latte. Chai lattes are either amazing or they're horrible- there is NO in between! And a dirty chai is even harder to do. I ordered it anyways hoping for the best. Best decision- the dirty chai was PERFECTION! It was the perfect blend of spices, the espresso didn't overpower the chai. It was the perfect blend, it made my morning. The person that took my order AND made my drink/food was SO nice! Highly recommend, especially if you're a chai fan!

404 Coffee is a cute community cafe. I loved how diverse the menu was. The aesthetics are awesome and really cute! I ordered the Midtown with chicken and the downtown. They both were delicious, but my favorite was the midtown. Caffeine wise, I ordered the Memorial Dr Oreo Frappe. It was good, but just ok. The presentation was lovely. Kelli is very hospitable. When you walk in, you scan a QR code and place your order. There is street parking available. I look forward to trying some of the other menu items.

I'm a nurse at Grady and was on call one weekend, did a quick search of breakfast spots nearby and this popped up. Got here in 10min from Grady on a Saturday morning. I do not like coffee so do not let the name of the business deter you from trying it. It's local, black woman owned and the food was good. I got the "Midtown" and a smoothie. Both were good and filling. Street parking and a lot next door makes for good parking. Hope to be back soon

Adorable spot with fun decor, definitely small local business community vibes. The back area has a few tables and chairs

Morning coffee Morning Breakfast YO hooked this one up, per usual. If you all had a missed call that was just me calling back to say thank you again because when I bit into my breakfast sandwich; lord I bout started crying. THE DOWNTOWN WAFFLE SANDWICH. Must try. Definitely getting it again. It. Was. Delicious. 404 coffee passing the vibe check to start the day.

Food was over priced and not cooked all the way , my Pattie was squishy and a long wait time for your food to get ready and they were out of many options.

Overpriced and underwhelming. Food is meh with no flavor. Wait was ridiculous. And coffee was like water. 3/10

We absolutely loved our one hour experience at Capyfriends Cafe!…read more Located on the campus of Nacoochee Adventures you will find a quaint little home that has been converted into a small cafe and Capybara lounge. In the far rear room you will come face to face with these gentle, curious, and extremely large rodents. Even if you are slightly timid of animals, it is very easy to forget what they are because they are so sweet and docile. The first 20 minutes or so we were introduced to four Capy's of differing ages. The youngest was about 4 weeks old and the oldest and largest was about 8 months. All were females. We were given a handful of lettuce and carrots each to feed our furry animal friends. The typical amount of paying guests is between 8-10 people, which keeps the encounter intimate and enjoyable. During the next 40 minutes we were introduced to a new animal about every 10 minutes. The friends who came out to play included: a large Guinea Pig, a tiny Hedgehog, a hilarious Armadillo, a small dog-sized Muntjac Deer and the absolutely adorable Fennec Fox babies. Prior to this encounter I don't ever remember having knowledge of these foxes. But now that I've seen them, I will never forget them. They also offer a one hour long VIP MEET THE BABIES experience and a 30 minute Capybara only experience. Prices vary about $50 between experiences, with the CAPYBARA ONLY experience being the least costly and the VIP BABIES being the most costly. Our CAPYBARA & FRIENDS experience was right in the middle @ $125pp. Any experience is great for the whole family, but I would highly recommend the one hour tours. Our hour went by so quickly and we wanted, no, NEEDED more time with all of these wonderful creatures. Afterwards we spent the remainder of our day exploring the fun little German-inspired town of Helen, GA which also happens to be currently hosting Oktoberfest throughout the month of October. So put on your best Lederhosen and Dirndl and come spend a memorable weekend in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Capybara cafe is a great idea and we had a memorable time…read more The highlight of the experience is (obviously) an ability to interact with the animals (there were 3) which makes up for all other limitations. There were some adult ones and some baby ones - all are cute and as chill as you'd imagine them to be. You get to feed them with veggies and pet them. While the concept is great, the execution can use further refinement. I've imagined it being like a cat cafe (and there is a kiosk where you can get alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, which is great). However the ambiance is simply not there as the place reminds of somebody's awkward house. Unlike cat cafe where you can stroll between cats - the capybaras locked in their own room which is only accessible and visible during your designated time slot. The space is underwhelming and needs design. Think of this experience like arranging to meet your favorite celebrity ... at a random chevron gas station down I85 ... it's amazing but also ... weird.

The boba has great texture and the brown sugar actually adds a dimension to the drink. They have sooo many interesting milk tea options - they have some "safe" options like their Mediocre Latte (basically just a house milk tea), and the Amber (closer to brown sugar milk tea), but I would encourage you to try their floral drinks! I've tried the Glaze, the Moonlight, the Amber, and the Pink Sunset, and all were phenomenal. I really really hope that Glaze Tea gets the recognition it deserves. To top it off, a while ago, I hosted a blind boba taste test with about 10 other friends. We got the most basic milk tea each shop offered from all over the ATL area, and Glaze Tea was ranked #1 out of 10 other spots. We included milk tea from other recognizable spots like Greatea, Chi Cha San Chen, Tea Top, Kung Fu Tea, etc. I was personally shocked when it was revealed that Glaze Tea was #1 because I had just never really come/none of my friends talked about it, but since then I'm a Glaze Tea believer. My only note is I typically get 75% sugar at boba places, but I actually do 100% at Glaze Tea. There is a 5% discount if you pay with cash. Plenty of indoor seating, but they keep the store a bit chilly, so bring a jacket if you get cold easily. Service is fast! No 15+ minute wait times or lines out the door.
