It was also awesome getting to meet Yelp Atlanta's Community Manager, Erica E! Two Best Friends Cafe and Books is definitely a hidden gem. It's a little tricky to find at first (I got turned around), but it's worth it. The space is cozy, welcoming, and perfect for a coffee shop/bookstore vibe. I ordered a green tea from their limited menu for the yelp event--it was only $3, good quality, and the service was friendly. Great experience overall. Supported a local business, discovered talented artists, and made some good memories. 5 stars!

She spent some time coaching an employee on a drink and she recommended the Freaknik, so I gave it a try and was not disappointed. I also ordered 2 bacon, egg, and cheese croissants for my husband and I. This cozy shop is very convenient for me to get to with being 10min from my house. Glaze Tea is superior to Molly Tea. 100%. Not even a question for me. Very similar aesthetic with a…read morefocus on floral drinks, but Glaze Tea absolutely wins in my books from a flavor and boba standpoint. The tea is stronger and more potent, but still delightful. The boba has great texture and the brown sugar actually adds a dimension to the drink. They have sooo many interesting milk tea options - they have some "safe" options like their Mediocre Latte (basically just a house milk tea), and the Amber (closer to brown sugar milk tea), but I would encourage you to try their floral drinks! I've tried the Glaze, the Moonlight, the Amber, and the Pink Sunset, and all were phenomenal. I really really hope that Glaze Tea gets the recognition it deserves. To top it off, a while ago, I hosted a blind boba taste test with about 10 other friends. We got the most basic milk tea each shop offered from all over the ATL area, and Glaze Tea was ranked #1 out of 10 other spots. We included milk tea from other recognizable spots like Greatea, Chi Cha San Chen, Tea Top, Kung Fu Tea, etc. I was personally shocked when it was revealed that Glaze Tea was #1 because I had just never really come/none of my friends talked about it, but since then I'm a Glaze Tea believer. My only note is I typically get 75% sugar at boba places, but I actually do 100% at Glaze Tea. There is a 5% discount if you pay with cash. Plenty of indoor seating, but they keep the store a bit chilly, so bring a jacket if you get cold easily. Service is fast! No 15+ minute wait times or lines out the door.

Street parking in front of the restaurant (on the square itself) is limited). The restaurant is a long, deep single room with the kitchen at the rear. There are booths along both walls and varying size tables in the middle. It was fairly crowded when we visited and the room can get noisy. It wasn't unpleasant, but don't come here expecting a quiet dining experience. We had one main server but they also tended to tag-team food delivery, water or coffee refills, etc. Service was good. We both got combos (half sandwich and half salad). We agreed that the salads were still larger than we expected even at half-size. I got some variant of a BLT as the sandwich, and liked it. The salad (primarily spinach with other interesting veggies) was good. I usually like balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The version here was really strong and slightly bitter. I'd go with some other dressing if I came back. My wife liked her meal (she had different sandwich and salad variants as well as a strawberry-based dressing that she liked). Prices were quite reasonable, too. We don't make it to Carrolton frequently, but I'd definitely be open to eating here again next time.
