This restaurant has the atmosphere of the 1600s. The racist tension within this establishment, IN CARROLLTON, GA, cannot even be cut with a butcher's knife! If there was an option to place zero stars, I would have. This is my second visit to this location where I felt out of place. My first visit last week (May 2026!), no waitress greeted or even made eye contact with me or my coworker. There were maybe 3-4 servers and only 2 booths with people in them.... My second visit back was even worse. Me and my coworker went back, unfortunately, and this time we tried getting all of the waitresses' attentions. They turned back to look and turned right back around. No customer service skills, no greetings, no 'be with you in a minute' NOTHING. It's actually quite embarrassing how certain people still have to be fed from the back door. It's even more embarrassing noticing and realizing how the hating party truly, just hates themselves so much. LOL, one server was SOOO hesitant to serve us, or really just give us our salad trays because we had two salads to-go, that she was UTTERLY shaking. Bless her heart. If you like microwaved pre-cooked frozen food give it a try. The food in this place is so far beyond minimal acceptance I can't fathom how they stay in business. Made the mistake of using a coupon to try this place again after having decided a few years ago to never go again. Guess what? It is even worse than before. Frozen shrimp that look like breaded pencils? Shrunk up frozen grilled shrimp? Steak that was raw and had more gristle than ever have seen in any cut of meat ever - plus no flavor at all. Ribs clearly microwaved. No sauce - totally disgusting. Heck they can't even make fries good. They were microwaved also - at least they tasted like it. Place needs a good scrubbing and the windows cleaned. Get that grime out of the corner by my table. Wow has the Carrollton location continue to go downhill. Just ate their today after a 1 away hoping something had gotten better well not a chance. We use to eat there weekly but last year we couldn't take the filth and smell anymore so we said we're done. Tried today and it even filthier than before, chairs have black grime on them from folks hands, food all over the floor and chairs, oily tables, still smells. This place hasn't had a renovation since it was constructed 20+ years ago. The Owners should be ashamed! chemical taste and smells on the salad bar items, we're never going there again unless something drasticcally changes. If anyone thinks this place is clean I would hate to see their house. read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had at Ruby Tuesday. First of all they sat us at a table with food and sticky stuff on the seats so we requested to move. We moved booths to another one with a little less filth. Then we ordered the salad bar and had to pick through old and slimy lettuce. Then when we received our entrees, the chicken looked like they took a whole piece and cut it in half to make 2 pieces (this was a nearly $20 meal) and the mashed potatoes looked and felt like play doh (literally picked it up as one solid clump). My wife's entree which was supposed to include zucchini had one piece of zucchini that was cut in half. We asked for a manager and the guy named Alex non chalantly advised us that's just how the food comes off the truck and there's nothing he could do. We moved to Georgia from the PNW in 2016 and just now tried Ruby Tuesday for lunch. I have to admit, I wish we'd tried them a long time ago. They have the best salad bar in town, with a large selection of fresh ingredients. Entrees came hot and perfectly cooked. The staff was prompt, attentive and friendly. The Ruby Tuesday in Carrollton is actually a very nice restaurant inside and out. With a stucco and stacked-rock exterior and high-end casual interior it looks and feels great. And that's why we wish the food were better. While their salad bar is probably the best in town, the steak, seafood and pasta need work. The lobster tails are often over-cooked and consistently small (they've actually put three lobster tails on my plate the last two times I ordered steak and lobster rather than the two pictured on the menu). The steak is just OK and the menu needs a filet mignon. Pasta and chicken can be hit and miss and might be good one time but poor the next. Sometimes it feels like there is a disconnect between the picture in the menu and what we get. My wife and I have been eating here while they run their Buy One Get One promotion but unfortunately the menu doesn't translate into a culinary experience that would bring us back otherwise. This isn't a problem with this specific restaurant but with the chain as a whole. Judging from the stock price (RT) over the past two years others must agree. read more

When you order basic soup and salad you expect to get just that. My wife and I both order the unlimited soup and salad. I got a really nice salad from the bar and waited several minutes for a bowl of soup. I asked for a second bowl of soup. I went to get seconds from the salad bar. I ate my second salad and then sat waiting for my second bowl of soup. I cleaned up my plate and placed it aside. The waitress finally came with the bowl of soup. She said the kitchen was slammed and it took awhile. I told her I didn't want it and bring the check. My wife wouldn't let me speak to the manager or I would have asked how long it takes to pour a bowl of soup from a pot in the kitchen. Two stars for the good salad. I have to say i was pleasantly surprised during my last visit here. The menu has changed a lot but i thoroughly enjoyed the spinach dip appetizer and the oreo cookies and cream cake.
