However, when I asked about a cone, I was told there were "cake cones" and "a waffle bowl." I asked what was the difference in price. I was told they both cost $0.50. I selected the waffle bowl. When I got to the register, the cashier moved quickly to the pay screen but I asked to go back to the itemized screen. They weren't the same price and the waffle cones are actually $0.95. Which is fine, it just wasn't what I was told. I then noticed another $0.30 charge. I asked what that charge was and the cashier said anytime some uses a credit card it just automatically adds that fee. She then said I could avoid the fee by using cash. At the time I said "no problem, I'll use cash next time," tipped the cashier a $1.00, and settled up. But it's likely I'll never patron this establishment again. There are too many decent ice cream places and the cheesecake was truly one of the saddest things I have ever seen.

We ended up deciding on dessert bars, a cinnamon roll, a few cookies, and some cheese straws. Just as it did years ago it hit the spot. Everything was delicious. As a girl with family in Charleston the cheese straws are amazing! Many may think that this is just a local bakery to order cakes from, but it is also a delicious bakery with fresh baked goods every day.
