My boyfriend is a big coffee guy- I'm very much not cause caffeine makes me tweak (I have too much energy). The savory layered doughnuts (OG Pepperoni, Pig & Fig, and Margherita) arrived noticeably overcooked, with the tops burnt enough that it affected the flavor and texture. It really took away from what should have been the highlight of the meal. The mini doughnuts and Pawlor Doughnuts were fine, but the savory items were the reason we ordered, so it left us feeling let down. We went to Georgia for a week, and my number one thing to do is look for gluten free options. I'm celiac, so that's always top of my list of things to do on vacation. And we found Parlor Doughnuts!! My husband and daughter are not gf eaters, so they ordered doughnuts and an egg sandwich, they loved everything. And my gluten free doughnuts were amazing! Saw the new billboard talking about Savory Doughnuts and we had to try them! Service was quick and very efficient, waited only a few minutes for the savory doughnut. The place itself has lots of light and the ambiance is cute. The Buffalo Chicken is the one we picked. It was delicious. The doughnut itself is flaky and soft and the buffalo chicken was flavored well and tasted great on top. We also tried the Honey Pistachio seasonal doughnut and it absolutely did NOT disappoint. I think the Honey Pistachio won for me, it was 10/10 so good. It wasn't too sweet and it wasn't too much pistachio. It was absolutely perfect. I can't wait to be back and try more flavors! read more

I was excited to take my family here as it was recommended due to the different donut options. We were in town for my brothers graduation from basic training and it was our last day together, Friday 8/7/26 around noon. My experience was very similar to the other 1 star reviews on here. The older gentleman was very sweet and accommodating while the two girls working were rude and unprofessional. The girl at the register seemed to rush us for our order even though no one had come in after our group. Then I asked the barista to make a flat white and I was told it couldn't be made because they didn't have the right espresso bean. Since that was the first time a barista said they couldn't do that, and I looked online for more answers I knew it is more about ratio than the bean used to make a flat white. Though I appreciate that they wanted to make it properly. Then, my grandmother asked if there were any stir sticks for her coffee and the barista rudely told her they didn't have those. Giving the benefit of the doubt, maybe they were having a bad day which could explain the whole experience. But even then- if you work in customer service you leave that mess at home. This is a chain that I was surprised to find in Columbus. The doughnuts are quite premium and one is spoiled for choice. Notably, they do have some special diet options for the vegan, gluten-free, and even keto diets. I was quite happy with the price for my special, a layered blueberry creation with yeasty dough that wasn't overly sweet and a sugary topping that definitely was. Yummy doughnuts! I think we've had Parlor in Destin, FL so when I spotted them in Columbus I was excited to try them again. I swung by one morning after my run to grab an assortment for my son and I to try. Yummy stuff! These are definitely more of a croissant style donut where I think the actual base is the same on all, and the topping is what differentiates the "flavors". Happy to have tried them again. This shop had a fun atmosphere! The decor has a nostalgic vibe, with music playing from a retro speaker in the corner. Comfortable seating. The two baristas/cashiers were lovely and helpful. There's a huge selection of decant croissant-doughnuts, but what I actually came to try was the vegan/gluten-free doughnut. How it works is they have a plain V/GF cake doughnut that they can top with any of the glazes from the regular doughnuts. The base doughnut is dense and a little mealy, with a subtle vanilla flavour. I liked it, and I would order it again, but it will not be for everyone, especially if you want a very traditional flavour. I tried mine with the raspberry pistachio glaze. I would have liked more pistachios, but the zingy raspberry flavour was good! Because the V/GF doughnut is glazed to order, the glaze wasn't completely set when I got it - the fresh glaze was messy but delicious, and it wasn't too runny, it just got on my fingers where I was holding the doughnut. I think they should consider a different type of packaging for these freshly-glazed doughnuts, because they wrapped mine in parchment paper and then put it in a paper bag, and the glaze got all over the paper. If you're eating in, you could try asking for just the paper to avoid this, but for takeout, I think individual-sized boxes would work better. I also ordered a lavender latte, which was good. It was a little sweeter than I was expecting but the flavour was nice and the espresso seemed fine. Decaf espresso and nondairy milks are available. read more

We ordered a few dozen assorted doughnuts for an event we were having and were impressed with the exceptional customer service as well as the amazing doughnuts. The two carafes of coffee were more than enough for everyone. The coffee was mild but good. Online ordering was easy and convenient. They were pleasantly accommodating when we had to add an extra order last minute and allowed us to pickup 15 minutes earlier than our designated time online. Yesterday we came and it was great, there was a man working and he was so sweet and accommodating. Came again today because we enjoyed the service yesterday. Today was two girls working. Very rude and unprofessional. We were next in line and one of the girls was rushing to get our order in when there was no one else besides us. Over the counter asking us questions and wasn't specific therefore looking at us stupid when we didn't know what to answer with. Girls were overall rude and I'm a barista myself it's not that hard to be nice. The guy from yesterday mentioned he could do cold foam, asked the girl today and she said they didn't offer cold foam. When receiving our drinks we asked which was which. The other girl proceeded to say "I don't know I honestly made them all the same." We didn't all get the same thing so I'm confused as why she made it that way. After seeing her put 4 pumps of flavor in them. I wouldn't want to come back here. Since this is a new location and this weekend was the grand opening I wasn't shocked that the line was long. I was shocked with their efficiency as they got through and served customers quickly. So what makes this doughnut shop different? Parlor Doughnuts has a cronut consistency. All doughnuts seem to be made fresh to order. When I told the gal taking my order I noticed some flavors seemed out she informed me I would only be waiting 4-5 minutes tops as they would be glazing the doughnuts fresh so all the doughnuts were still warm. All the flavors we got this time were great. My husband preferred the French toast while I preferred the peanut butter cup. Not pictured was the lavender latte that I got. Unlike some of the coffee shops nearby, the latte actually tasted like it had coffee and was not overly sweet even with the added flavor. Unique doughnuts. Reminds me of a croissant-style interior of light, layered dough (a hundred layers!) that's been fried in shortening and then layered with sweet, creative toppings and flavorings. The doughnut is large -- bigger than a baseball. The dough itself is not very sweet. but the sweetness definitely comes from the additions. I got the bourbon maple and liked it. My wife didn't love the dough -- it tasted greasy to her but she didn't have as much of the toppings as me. I found it to be a nice alternative to traditional donuts. First time visitor and I ordered 3 of the layered donuts: Cookies & Cream, French Toast & Strawberry Shortcake. All were phenomenal! I only captured a pic of the latter 2 because Cookies & Cream was devoured in the car on my way home before I even realized it. I loved the flakiness of the donut itself and it gives more of a crescent. It isn't sweet which I admire because I'm not that much of a sweets person. When you factor in the donut part with the sweet icing topping it definitely go hand in hand. To me it's the perfect balance of sweetness. My mom on the other hand didn't care for them. Her dislike was the flakiness of the donut and that it itself isn't sweet. So I guess if you're a seeet person maybe these aren't the best for you but if not these are perfect!
