This is a great Bruster's location, even during COVID-19! They clearly enforced their six feet apart rule by marking tapes on the ground. Unlike every Brusters location I've ever been to, they had both windows open, and moved fairly quickly. I enjoyed the Brownie Sundae with a Waffle Bowl, but they have all sorts of treats for the whole family. They even offer delivery. I highly recommend this location of Bruster's! read more

Wanted to try a new ice cream place, and tonight Bruster's Ice Cream was the choice. Love that they have a drive through, and the drive through was efficient in my experience. If I were to give an analogy for this place to other Columbus people, I would say that Bruster's is like a baby between Graeters and Whits. The ice cream is like a blend between hard serve ice cream and soft serve ice cream which I really like. They have tons of ice cream flavors to choose from, they have a lot of sundaes, I just wish they had more cone options; chocolate dipped being one example. I ordered the peanut butter sundae. This sundae came with peanut butter ice cream, peanut butter cups, peanut butter swirl and hot fudge; a must for anyone that loves peanut butter cups. The sundae sizes are very reasonable, but not as large as a small cone as an example. This is a great place to grab ice cream if you're in the Polaris area! read more

I've always been a big fan of Bruster's. I've been going to Bruster's Ice Cream a lot with my family as a kid, and the ice cream is still as good as I remember. This location does not disappoint. The staff has been a little slow to take your order each time I've been here, but they are friendly and offer generous portions. The exterior of this Bruster's also isn't all that great, but it's fine. They offer FREE doggie cones that come with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream and a dog treat on top. Brusters always has a good selection of great quality ice cream! I've gone to Brusters in two different states now and have always had a great experience. My favorite flavor is Graham Central Station! It has huge chucks of graham cracker pieces and chocolate pieces in it and it is amazing! read more

Terrible customer service. We waited for over 10 min for our order to be taken. There was one customer standing in front of us waiting to pay for her ice cream. Once we finally got to the window we weren't greeted and barely got through our order due to the attendant mumbling like she would have rather been else where. We had to repeatedly ask what she said. She was very unpleasant! It was hot and my child was crying to go home without ice cream due to our wait. Never again. The manager was friendly. We waited more than 10 minutes in the line. After we ordered they didn't put the sprinkles or the fudge on it that we were charged for. Then we called and they told us we had to come back in order to recieve the sprinkles and fudge on it whenever they should of just replaced it next time, but"that's not how it works". The ice creamery is in a fast-food like drive-up, so you can't peer into the ice cream tubs and be tempted by tasty swirls. And the ice cream names do not describe the flavor, so I spent a while tasting things like Turtle and Graham Central Station. The portions are enormous, which is a plus. The big thing to know about Bruster's is that what flavors they have available changes by location. This is evident at this location. They didn't have several of the flavors I can easily order just 2-3 hours away in Atlanta so this was a bit disappointing. They were also out of a few flavors before 8pm on a Saturday night. I tried the Double Chocolate Chunk in a cup and my husband had a peanut butter sundae. The wait for our ice cream was not too long which is a plus. Minus is the portion size, they were smaller than other locations we have visited. My husband said his sundae was okay my ice cream was so-so. It did not have the creaminess that I'm used to from Bruster's. It had a grittiness to it actually. We decided to try a different location in the future. read more

We went in PJ night (didn't wear PJs though) and the manager who took our order was super nice! They had a great ice cream flavor (White Raspberry Truffle) but some of the others didn't sound appetizing as ice cream (this happens often - French toast ice cream? YUCK!). However, the ice cream I got tasted awesome but was a bit too soft for my personal preference! My friend got chocolate cake batter which tasted great (like REAL cake batter!) however it was really soft and she had to get a cup to set her cone in because it was melting so quickly. She was told that it was so soft because they just made it that afternoon. My 3 year old niece got a scoop of plain chocolate, which was enough for her and she was super happy with it! There was hardly a way, and it cost right at $6-something for my waffle bowl. I will say that I went back up after eating my waffle bowl to order a pint of the White RaspTruffle to go and they said they were completely out... that's a real let down considering how great of a flavor it is. I usually like the Chocolate Raspberry Truffle, but they didn't have it and the last 5 or 6 times I got an email saying they made it, I drove over only to find out they had NOT made it. The 3 Stars is because of the melted/melting ice cream, the several times their emails lied to me, and being out of the good ice cream. read more

Scrumptious! Such fresh ice cream-you can tell that it is made fresh daily in the store. Clean store in a great location with super friendly staff. My favorite is the key lime pie and the lime sherbet. They have great deals throughout the week and if you bring your own banana on Thursday you get 1/2 off a banana split. They have a cute program for the kiddos where if you are under a certain height they get a free baby come and I even saw a lady there with her dog and the dog got a free doggy Sunday. How cute is that?! It isn't hard to stand above the competition with simple stuff like this and this Brusters has certainly done that. I will return for sure...probably more than I should! read more
