I give this place a NO STAR, on all counts, but it won't let me. I should have taken a picture, but I was so disappointed I didn't. My daughter and I ordered a 24 count variety of the mini donut holes. We paid, was told to pull around. We waited about 10 minutes. This was all 8:30 am. I opened the box up, and it looked absolutely disgusting!!!!! I rarely complain and I never take things back. This time I did. They were just tossed in there most of them were smooshed and broken. The chocolate ones looked burnt!!!! There weren't any glazed in there. It was a powdered smoosh hot mess. My 10 year old was disgusted . I took them, I tried to see if they would just give me a box of glazed instead. She would not she only wanted to refund me my money. She was very rude and did not have very good management skills. They said they had just made them and they were fresh. I told them it does not look like the picture at all that they were advertising. She continued to argue and said oh yes it is and they are fresh and I just cooked them in. There's nothing wrong with them. My kiddos love Krispy Kreme and we often swing in to grab a box of variety donuts from this location. We prefer to go inside instead of going through the drive thru. We love the large variety and options they provide. My kiddos also love the hats. So yesterday morning, around 10:20 am, I went through the Krispy Kreme drive and at the speaker I ordered specifically 2 cinnamon sugar donuts, 2 pink sprinkled, 2 blueberry, & 6 glazed, a medium iced vanilla latte, & a medium iced caramel vanilla speciality latte. This location is located right in the heart of a wide variety of shops and restaurants. It has a large, open parking lot and the inside is spacious as well. I went in not really knowing exactly what I wanted. There were a few families inside, but no one in line. A young lady was behind the counter of donuts when I walked up. I wish I could give this store a negative 10. The workers there are very unprofessional, rude and incompetent. I went in to the store because the drive through was to long. The worker there I believe his name was Trevon was extremely rude and incompetent. He asked me what I wanted twice and I told him 6 original glaze he said okay it's going to be 20 minutes I said okay and stepped aside. He then started preparing the box and another customer came in and the box he was preparing for me he gave it to the male customer who came in after me and no it was not a door dash order etc the man paid at the register. I let that go and waited for my order patiently. My order is ready he states it would be 14 dollars I said no I ordered only 6 he looks at me with an attitude and walked away he did not offer me a sorry or ok I'll fix it he didn't say anything. He then fixed the order he rings up the donuts I say okay and very nicely I say I have military Id because they offer military discount at the store he then LIES straight to my face and says on no we don't do military discount on half a dozen only on a full dozen. I said that's not true. He insisted that it was true when I knew he was incorrect. How did I know because I went there two days prior and ordered the same thing and the female employee who took my order called the manager over and then applied the discount. After I told him that he walks away and goes to find the manager who was in the back , who then applied the discount without any problem. The problem I have is that because he wanted to be lazy and not do his job he lied to me about something so minute. It's not about the discount because I could of went without it but it was the principle that he was a terrible worker who shouldn't work a customer service job or the front of the store if he doesn't have any integrity or doesn't like working with people. I really wish I could get a refund because my donuts were terrible and looked very stranger then how it looked when I purchased it a couple days ago. I absolutely do not recommend this store. In my opinion they need a brand need afternoon team. Beware of the "hot light" hoax. There are no fresh donuts coming out. The workers draw you in by turning on the hot light only to encourage you to buy the old cold donuts sitting in a box. My biggest issue with this place was the crappy attitudes of the worker who were rather lackadaisical. She was rude and seemed as if us taking our time was somehow interrupting her time she was being paid to actually work. She was rude from the start to the finish of our transaction. I LOVE krispy kreme donuts. We stopped today just to try the lemon glazed donut..available for only 5 days. We bought a half dozen; not being told that we would be charged the price for 6 individual donuts and not the 1/2 dozen price. For less than $2 more ($7 to $9) we could have bought a whole dozen. I would have appreciated either a comment or better signage-making our options more clear. Lemon glaze was a disappointment, the flavor was weak but the other 5 donuts were, as always, good. The donuts are delicious...hot ones especially, but the 3 is for cleanliness and employee attentiveness. I took my granddaughters here for their first Krispy Kreme experience....to see the donuts being made. They were just making it through the proofing machine. We immediately noticed that the machine was clogging and it was making a huge mess but the guy responsible was too busy in his cell phone to notice. He was hiding behind the machine texting away. He finally looked up long enough for us to signal him. It happened again and again in the 10 minutes we watched but he just kept texting away. When we went around to order the lady at the front counter was texting too. The windows looking into the kitchen we're filthy. The round chairs were broken. I am a ¨Yankee¨ from Massachusetts, so you guys know I was born and bred with Dunkin Donuts pumping through my veins and a Boston Creme doughnut in each hand. HOWEVER...while the coffee at Krispy Kreme, DD's southern cousin is not so great, the doughnuts are a whole different story. Why? Oh, you know, they are actually made hot and fresh there. Doughnut shop that has 1 major flaw.... They are always lacking DOUGHNUTS!!! I have visited this establishment on numerous occasions only to see empty shelves where the doughnuts should be. It is not uncommon for there to be only 3-4 flavors to choose from(including regular glazed) when the company website shows around 30 different kinds.... yes I understand they shouldn't have every kind at every establishment. It is also shocking how they can completely run out of doughnuts before it dawns on someone that they might want to crank up the machines and get some more going...
