Both come out quickly, have great flavors, and I love the sauce pairings. For my entree, I typically get sushi. I love trying their fun special rolls and usually try a new one each time. I will say, a lot of their rolls have been misses for me. I do not love all rolls here equally. If I were to recommend some to those starting out in sushi, try the sweet potato, vegetable roll, and volcano roll. These are all great, lower in calories, and come out quickly as well. For those who are okay spending more or trying fun rolls, try the house special or the Santa. These are some of my all-time favorites. I have even tried the cashew/nut curry here and really enjoyed it as well. Almost everything I still get is just as amazing as when I first tried the restaurant. The staff is also always nice, and it is always very clean and moodily lit. My last recommendation is to only go on Tuesdays or Thursdays! This place is not cheap, so doing that can help you save a lot of money.

Upon entering this charming Thai establishment, one is immediately embraced by warm ambient lighting and a refreshingly clean, well-organized dining room. Despite a staffing shortage that the gracious host/waitress openly acknowledged, the welcome felt sincere and unhurried. There was a brief moment of confusion at the podium--clearly marked for carryout yet silent on dine-in options--but we were promptly invited to sit wherever we pleased. Our server, Jane, proved an absolute gem: attentive, professional, and deeply knowledgeable about the menu. She navigated us through the spice-level system (regrettably unexplained on the printed menu itself) with patience and enthusiasm. A thoughtful arrangement of house sauces and bright pickled jalapeños arrived early, each one layered and complex, elevating every dish in its own distinctive way. The chef even stepped out briefly to offer a cheerful thumbs-up, a touching gesture that spoke volumes about the heart behind the kitchen. Jane's warm backstory only deepened our appreciation for this hardworking family operation. The Thai iced coffee was nothing short of revelatory--one of the finest restaurant coffees I've encountered. Served in an impressively tall glass, it arrived darker and more robust than the menu photo suggested, with intense coffee and mocha notes woven into a silky, almost dessert-like richness. Smooth, bold, and dangerously drinkable. Appetizers We sampled nearly the entire starter menu, with varying degrees of success. The shrimp spring rolls, made to order, carried a bright, aromatic freshness, yet were disappointingly stingy with the promised shrimp--just a single piece in the entire portion. The accompanying plum sauce, however, was stellar: vibrant, layered, and perfectly balanced. The cheese rolls landed as the weakest link--somewhat sad and underfilled, with wrappers that outshone their meager interiors. A bolder hand with the filling and a lighter fry would elevate them considerably. In contrast, the fried calamari was executed with precision. The portion was modest, but the crust was immaculate--crisp, non-greasy, and tenacious--clinging beautifully to tender rings that offered just the right whisper of chew. Paired with a zesty, complex dipping sauce that brought brightness and depth, it sang. The steamed dumplings revealed a clearly homemade touch: dense, well-seasoned filling and wrappers cooked to ideal texture. The fried spring rolls were even better--generously stuffed with a harmonious blend of flavors, hand-crafted with care, and beautifully complemented by a lively sweet-and-sour sauce. Fresh, satisfying, and precisely what one hopes for in a classic. Entrées The mains showcased real talent in the kitchen. The Spicy Basil Beef (Level 2) arrived with a generous helping of tender steak in a beautifully balanced sauce that danced between sweet, savory, and lingering heat. The slow-building spice kissed the palate without overwhelming it, while fresh peppers and green beans retained pleasant snap. A whisper more basil would have been ideal, but the dish still popped with vibrancy, especially alongside flawless jasmine rice that soaked up every drop of sauce. The Traditional Pad Thai with Chicken (Level 3) delivered classic comfort done right: perfectly cooked noodles, juicy chicken, generous crushed peanuts, lime, and bean sprouts. Complex, harmonious, and deeply satisfying. The Drunken Noodles with Pork (highest spice) brought big, tender chunks of flavorful pork and vegetables cooked to harmonious tenderness. While the noodle-to-protein ratio felt slightly skewed toward the former, the overall texture and bold heat made it a strong contender. Yet the undisputed star of the evening was the Red Curry. Creamy, profoundly aromatic, and layered with spice and coconut richness, this was curry elevated to art. One could happily sip it by the bowlful. My husband, enjoying his first true Thai curry, declared it life-changing--he now demands it on repeat. In an era of inflated restaurant prices, this family-run gem delivers remarkable value: generous portions, thoughtful execution, and genuine hospitality (including a military discount).
