I absolutely love Golden Chopsticks. It is a treat to have authentic Korean along with all the yummy Korean style veggies. if you order to go, you do not get vegetables. Also, if you die in you get refills on veggies! I usually try to go at lunchtime because you get the lunch menu with the reasonable lunchtime prices. In the evening, you have no choice, but to get the entire serving or platter of Bulgogi or whatever you choose to order, which, of course is too much food for one person along with the hefty price. The restaurant has been around I believe since the late 70s. I order to go or go to the restaurant almost once a week. One of my favorites!

    Bulgogi lunch special

For $15 (without tip) I got the bulgogi lunch special with rice, this place feels pretty Korean and the dishes tasted pretty decent. However the service was pretty slow, idk if they got behind or something‍and yeah it was kinda busy , but not a 30+ min wait for food busy

    Dinner Special for 3!

The best Korean food in Columbus! My family have been coming here for over 30 years and will keep coming here when we want Korean food. This time in particular we ordered the Dinner Special for 3. It was sooo much food. The bulgogi was delicious and we honestly couldn't get enough of the japchae. There was only one person working the floor when we got there but service was still top notch! Enjoy!!!

Wow, business was booming here when we came for takeout. We had to call 10 times to be placed on hold just to get disconnected; I tried another few times (and just when reaching that tipping point of giving up) finally was successful in calling in an order. I find out at the scene that there was at least 6 parties waiting to pickup their orders vs. one floor staff who was trying to take these influx of calls & walk-ins and package large orders of take-outs. And it was barely 4pm - not even prime meal time! For our meal, we ordered: Al-Jigae (pollack roe soup) Galbi-ugeoji Tang (short rib soup) Galchi (belt fish) & Mackerel - grilled + marinated The soups were hearty, but I could definitely taste the MSG. I guess it was more on the "subtle" end of the spectrum if compared at other Korean places but enough for me to have to water it down for my taste. As for the grilled & marinated fish (on the spicy end) aren't served in other Korean cuisines we frequent so that was a treat to have these entree options! I'd come back for the banchan (side dishes) too - complimentary egg rolls are also not common so we'll gladly take that when we can :)

I had the DAEJIGOGI BOKUM and it was incredible. How does this place not have a line out the door.

Unfortunately, the food and service didn't live up to the atmosphere. The dishes we received were on the dirty side, which set the tone early. Our server, Hana, was okay overall but not very welcoming, and we felt rushed throughout the meal. We were also told that if one person at the table orders both K-BBQ and hot pot, then everyone has to do the same. I didn't really want the hot pot, but ended up getting it anyway. The hot pot itself was just okay. Because of the lighting, it was difficult to tell when the meat was fully cooked. At other restaurants, I've always been provided oil or butter to help prevent food from sticking to the grill, but here we didn't get that, which made cooking a bit frustrating. Overall, while the ambiance is the highlight, the lack of cleanliness, rushed service, and dining rules mean I won't be returning.

The Columbus K Pot location is brand new, being open for about a week. The restaurant is very aesthetic, having a majestic exterior and very beautiful interior. This location seems to be a bit smaller than the Houston / Atlanta locations I've been to, but it's very nicely set up with the space they have . The food was delicious! My group got the Hot Pot and KBBQ combo (Highly recommend). We ordered (what seemed like) all the meats, and ate our Hot Pot simultaneously with the grilled KBBQ. Absolutely loved all the beef (specifically the Brisket, Beef Belly, Short Ribs) and mussels. The service was very friendly and attentive, regularly refilling our drinks and changing our grills. The only improvement I have for this location is the tablet didn't register with the kitchen, so I had to notify the employees of the meats I wanted ordered (versus the intended purpose of the digital tablet). This may just have been a digital error for my tablet, for that day. But I still got what I ordered. This place will be a hot commodity, an absolute must for KBBQ / Hot Pot enthusiasts!

It's perhaps not in the most fun location being off pepperell pkwy but large indoor seating available. Should be good for big groups as well, never took a big group here but seems like they have the space. Parking lot has spaces but not a good lot. Lots of potholes and some big ones at the entrance.
