    Bulgogi meal
    Nalee E.

I was hoping for some real Korean fried chicken and though the wings were not, they were still tasty. Naked wings took 10 minutes to make and sauces were pretty good; honey garlic and mango habanero. The bulgogi meal was good, the beef was marinated well, tender and tasty. The japchae needed additional ingredients. The coleslaw was ok. Customer service was friendly and our food came out in timely manner.

I ordered Korean fried chicken wings, and they were delicious and crispy. I asked for the sauce (honey garlic) on the side so I could dip the chicken in myself. That way, the sauce and the chicken blended perfectly, and the texture stayed crispy. In the past, I've ordered with the sauce already on the chicken for takeout, but by the time I got home, the sauce made the chicken soft and not as tasty as this time. I also ordered tteokbokki--it was a little spicy, but the flavor was really good!

    Katsu plate with double Japchae

I wish I could give half a star. Because truly I'd give this place a 3.5/5 but since this was my first visit and Yelp doesn't allow half stars I boosted it up. The service- The service was decent. The guy that took our order didn't really greet us but I think it's because he was busy boxing orders and he could probably tell we were discussing the menu and wasnt ready to order. He was friendly however and when our food was ready he came and brought it out to our tables. The food-- I ordered Katsu meal with double Japchae. This was my first time trying Katsu and for a first try it wasn't bad at all. The sauce that comes with it has a strong Worcestershire-like taste. Which at first was overwhelming but it actually pairs with it very well. I don't think I would've liked the chicken without it because it doesn't have much seasoning and it's served on top of plain white rice. So the sauce definitely gives it that missing edge. I could've definitely did without the rice. Next time I will try the Korean coleslaw and substitute rice for double Japchae. The Japchae was good in flavor but it was served cold which I've never had that way before. I know it can be served either way but I prefer it hot or at least room temp especially with the Katsu piping hot next to it so it was weird. My sister ordered their wings- honey garlic and sweet & spicy. The flavors were good! But mannnn those wings are TINY! A 10 piece of their wing sizes is more like a 20 piece an average size wing. Each wing maybe only gave you 2 bites of meat. It just sucks because they were actually but not for how small and the price point. Location-- , I love that Banks Food Hall has sooo many different options! The food here with a strawberry wine slush from Maltitude was a great pair. Will definitely give them another try.

Bulgogi Meal with japchae and Mac and cheese

The food and service were good! I think the pricing was modest. I would eat here again but I've had better in other cities , but around the Columbus area I'd def recommend! The Mac and cheese was cheesing fo sure!

We didn't really expect much in a college town but it turned out to be pretty legit. Banchan - really good. Love the fish cakes. We asked for more but they said they ran out. So they never came back to our table again, not even to refill our tea and water cups after that. Stew: I think it is called Gopchang Changol or something like that. It usually got beef tripes, tofu, veggies, something, then intestines. This one got tofu and lots of intestines, flavored was good but way too much intestines, I like a mixed of stuffs. We always get udon in a stew, not this place. Not what I was expected. Big portion though so we took the leftovers, grabbed some tofu from Walmart and udon, and made another batch the next day. Fried chicken (both original and spicy) - not bad. Galbi (short ribs) - pretty good Tteokbokki- not bad

If you have never had Korean food with traditional "appetizers" I highly recommend chickchickporkpork. The food is absolutely fantastic! The prices are extremely fair for the quality and quantity you get. The sign in front is a bit small, so pay attention as you get close. You will be pleased you chose to come, whether for lunch or dinner. For the especially finicky eater, you will find a luxury of fried chicken options to choose from. Come with an open mind, and you will leave with a full belly and plenty of good memories.

We didn't drink, but they do have a good variety of alcoholic drinks. The lunch special seems like a really good deal. We ended up getting the chick chick chilly chilly mayo. I really enjoy that they bring out a water jug for self service and do wish more restaurants would do that since I drink a lot of water. It is not to far from campus and definitely worth the drive. It's perhaps not in the most fun location being off pepperell pkwy but large indoor seating available. Should be good for big groups as well, never took a big group here but seems like they have the space. Parking lot has spaces but not a good lot. Lots of potholes and some big ones at the entrance.

The food was cold. I ordered with the hot stone and the only thing that was hot was the fried egg on top. I love when the rice gets burned a bit on the bottom but was barely warm. It was also supposed to be beef and veggie. I think I found two small pieces of beef. For service you ring a bell which is weird. We sat in the middle of the room and you would think they would at least check on you. And did I mention the live ROACH we found on our table? We told them and they just had us switch tables. Ughhhh

I personally prefer grilled mackerel (B9) but my friend wanted the sole. Still didn't disappoint. We had the chicken teriyaki which I wouldn't normally order if I wasn't on a diet. We got sauce on the side and I salt and peppered it, still good. Our table also ordered the Tonkatsu (which has huge portions, two layers of deep friend pork), C7: Bone-in Haejanguk (hangover soup), and C2: Bulgogi in a hot pot. They both looked and smelled delicious and our friends loved it. All in all, I have no doubt that almost everything here would be good. I'm definitely coming back next time I'm in town!
