This place never closes at the scheduled time. 30 mins before closing time, they turn their OPEN sign off. Really, not a good look for the business. Time and time again I have given this place a chance and they constantly Reminds me of why I Originally stop coming here in the first place. Much rather go across town else where before I think about coming here again.

There were no…read moreother options in the area besides standard fast food places and we were in a hurry but still wanted to sit down together. The wings were very average tasting. We ordered the lemon pepper and hot. The lemon pepper is pretty lemony and kind of sweet. The hot was pretty good in flavor. The biggest downside was the size of the wings. They were baby/infant wings, almost comical. I've attached a picture. We thought the prices were good for the amount we were getting but after seeing the size of wings, we should have ordered twice the amount to fill our stomachs. The restaurant itself is a small walk-in environment with a couple tables. There were quite a few customers coming in/out and ordering take-out. Not a terrible place to stop in a hurry, but definitely not inclined to come back here. Good luck!

The family deal is a great option for families as well. Side note: usually when you go to a place where there's nothing but teens and college age kids working you think, uh-oh. Not this place. Everyone is super respectful and considerate. Good job Bob!

The restaurant was very clean and well maintained. I found the cashier to be very friendly and helpful as well. I ordered chicken wings hot as they said they had no medium. My wife ordered the fried chicken sandwich. I found the chicken wings to be on the smaller side although with a 12 wing serving, they were very plentiful and filling. The "hot wings" I would say were more medium, which was fine with me. The fries were fresh and as good as anything you might find elsewhere. My wife said that the fried chicken sandwich was extremely good and very filling as well. Overall the prices are extremely reasonable. The service was good. The wait was about 20 minutes to get the food only because they cook it when you're there which is what I would prefer anyway Anyways. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to get a good meal at a very fair price I will be back again because I want to try the Philly cheesesteak sandwich which I've heard is outstanding. But what I do know is that this was excellent. The Dixon family has gone in and done a huge overhaul on the place. The kitchen has been totally updated and the dining area has been also. Everything is clean and well functioning. You go to the counter and order and then go find a table. The place is small and the number of tables is limited. Once your order is ready they bring it out to you. You get a cup and there is tea and a fountain drink machine for you to fill up your glass. The bbq was amazing. Very tender and flavorful. I ordered a medium bbq plate and it was more than I could eat. I love the chopped bbq. You can also get sliced and chipped. I believe I heard them say the same man that used to do the cooking of the meat, is still the one doing it. They also have clearview bbq sauce and the Dixon family yellow jacket sauce. Both are excellent. We got to try the two pies. One was pecan and the other was a peanut butter pie (though I think it has a different name). Of the two, my friend and I felt the peanut butter one was the best of that kind we had ever had. They are open now and the wait is over. Run right over. You will be so glad you did. Well done Dixon family. Well done e.
