Went there for the first time. Ordered a plate and a wing/ finger plate 3 cookies then a regular coffee with milk. Drove up to the window they read me back the order and it had sweet tea not ordered and charged for it so we asked them to take that off because we didn't order it they had no idea how to do that so we had to pay... and then was charged 4.50 for a vanilla latte(again not ordered and I'm diabetic so out of the question on just accepting a fully sugared item.) sent it back asked for the reg coffee that's only 2 dollars. They gave me a small cup of what looked like dirty water with no milk. Asked the girl what is this and she said that's what you orders I said no then I said please just refund it handed her the "coffee" and she said ok my manger will refund you in a couple days, took the coffee back and shut the window. My kids always ask to eat here when we're in town and I don't mind since there are more adult options than chicken tenders (but honestly I always sneak one) and it's a very clean place. The family deal is a great option for families as well. Side note: usually when you go to a place where there's nothing but teens and college age kids working you think, uh-oh. Not this place. recently visited Jim Bob's Chicken Fingers in Columbus, GA, and I'm really disappointed with my experience. I ordered the Super Salad with grilled chicken, and the chicken came out in full chicken finger-sized pieces instead of being cut for a salad. When I cut into the chicken, I noticed it was still pink inside - clearly undercooked. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this until after 1 had already eaten some of it. Not long after, I ended up with stomach issues and had to run to the restroom multiple times. Undercooked chicken is a serious food safety concern, and this really made me lose trust in the quality and care being put into the food. I hope the restaurant addresses this issue so no one else has the same experience. For now, I won't be returning. read more

For one, I had the grilled chicken plate. The chicken was not seasoned. Corn nuggets were amazing. Secondary, the little lamb chicken wasn't seasoned. Thirdly, the avocado burger had one small slice of avacado. The bun was so soggy that it couldn't be picked up to eat. The fries weren't seasoned. My first and last visit to Jim Bob's Chicken Fingers in Lagrange, GA!! The service was horrible and they weren't even busy!! Took forever for my food to come out, and then they served my food to another couple. The couple touched the food, and then one of the staff tried to serve it to me when I told them that was my food. I declined since it was touched and then asked for the food to be remade and to go. I believe they just boxed up the same food and served it to me anyway. Staff member gave me a weak sorry when she finally handed me my food. I spent $26 for a lackluster meal and didn't get my monies worth. Burger and fries were only warm when I received them. The chicken wrap was good, though. Was a horrible experience, and they didn't seem sorry at all. I was hesitant to try this place at first but I decided to give it a shot and OMGGGGG it is amazing​. I love the fact that's its not your typical​ fast food joint. Your food is cooked fresh​ and to perfection. I normally order the fried​ shrimp and it's some of the best shrimp in Columbus. I've​ also had a couple of burgers from here and they were good as well. Over priced, terrible customer service.. called in an order that wasn't ready when i came to pick it up. They took my name and my phone number. When I went to pick up the order and it was not ready I drove off and plan on coming back when it was going to be ready. They thought since I drove off I didn't want to order so they sold the food to someone else, even though they have my phone number and could have easily called to double check before doing so. Spoke to a manager and got shrugged off apology for the miscommunication and that was it. Definitely should call the customers before assuming they don't want the order. I decided to stop here on the way home for dinner instead of getting another burger from a drive thru since I had a friend recommend them. I placed my order at the drive thru and turned the corner and proceeded to wait behind two other cars. After waiting for 15 minutes behind the other cars I decided to just pull out of line and leave. I did decide to at least call and tell them that I was canceling my order but when I did call (from the number on their web page) I was hung up on. Today, Jim Bob's served us the perfect chicken fingers. In addition to the chicken fingers, we also ordered naked wings, fries and onion rings. Everything was great and perfectly prepared. The food wasn't greasy, salty or inadequate in any way. It was delicious and very much appreciated. We enjoyed it so much that we actually ordered some prepared items to go. They have their own signature sauces that are light and fresh and great for dipping or dressing your sandwich. You can also get sandwiches, burgers, salads and wraps so there is something available for every appetite. I certainly look forward to returning prior to leaving the area. Jim Bob's is a very casual restaurant with dark wooden tables and booth seating available. It is Christian owned and this is evident by the scriptures on the wall and the "Jesus" tees worn by the staff. So if the thought of Jesus makes you uncomfortable... The location is perfect as it is conveniently located right on the main street of one of the popular shopping destinations. They also have drive-thru service available if you prefer. For this being a newer restaurant it should be cleaner. A lot cleaner! So any employes in the back & many just chit chatting & none cleaning out the nasty dirty table. We had to clean our own. Another customer dropped his tray & no one came to help him out & he cleaned it all up not an employed helped or bothered to come up to him (he was a much older man). Now to the food. This is an over priced, smaller portioned, & much greasier version of zaxbys. I have been to Jim Bob's several times and have enjoyed my experience every time. Although this is not a expensive or fancy restaurant, I give it a 4 because of the openly unashamed Christian environment. For me, that is a plus for Christian people. Unlike the previous review, Jim Bob's always seems to be busy - inside, outside and drive through. It is true that there are no shrimp or fried pickles. I wouldn't have thought to order that, seeing that it is not on the menu. But this is my review, not that of anyone else. They have great hot wings. Some of the best in the area. Although I'm not a fan of the fried chicken tenders, the grilled tenders are fantastic. If you're looking for a chicken place with a menu that is very Zaxby-esque and a delightfully inspirational atmosphere, then Jim Bob's is the place for you. read more
