Supposed to be pork nachos but instead I got soggy chips and cheese and pork on the side

We had a large group order for pick up, and I love the nachos so I got the chips on the side so they'd not be soggy by the time the food got delivered. Instead what arrived was some soggy chips and cheese with the meat on the side and no toppings. I didn't know I had a complicated order.

I stopped here for lunch yesterday. Sat at the bar, had a local lager. The bartender was really nice. For lunch, I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, which came with two sides. I got their jalapeño cheese grits and potato salad. Normally I prefer a mayonnaise based potato salad. This had a little of both Mayo and mustard and was pretty good. The grits were heavenly, and the pulled pork was so tender! I will be back to try their ribs! Fun vibes here. Lots of people there for lunch, and there's a brewery next door, so I can see the allure.

Fried Shrimp Platter w/ Coleslaw & Collard Greens sides

I was visiting Columbus and wanted a casual place to get some Southern food, and Moe's had what I was looking for. The place has an industrial look with a good amount of seating and a small arcade area. There's a dog-friendly patio, convenient for the dog park nearby. It's self-service where you order at the counter and get a buzzer to pick up your food when it's ready, and there's also a bar to get alcoholic drinks. The girl who took my order was so sweet! I changed my mind one of my side twice AFTER I had already placed my order, and she was so chill about making a note on the order ticket to change it, and when I apologized for being difficult, told me she just wanted me to get what I wanted. She left while I was still eating, and on her way out checked on me to see if I was happy with my final choice (I was). I got the Fried Shrimp Platter. The shrimp weren't big but there were a lot! They weren't greasy and the peppery batter was tasty! I had coleslaw and collard greens for my sides. I'd recommend not getting the coleslaw with the shrimp since it already includes a small serving of coleslaw and pickles, but I really liked the slaw so I didn't mind getting to eat a whole serving of it. The collards were also really good - they had a smoky and subtly sweet flavour. They were cooked with sausage and bacon which I wasn't expecting (but definitely contributed a lot to the taste) and had actually been trying to avoid, but I'd assume for most people at a barbeque joint, meat is not an issue, and I realize now that it's common to cook collards with meat, I just didn't know any better because you cannot get this stuff where I live. The cornbread was the moist style that I like, and the slight char was really nice. After all that I realized I could go for a dessert, so I went back up and ordered a small banana pudding, which totally wowed me. It was so creamy, not cloyingly sweet, and the wafer crumbs gave it such a nice texture. I ordered it because I was curious and am now a banana pudding fan. To be perfectly clear, I do not eat meat besides seafood, and I haven't had much exposure to real Southern food, so the target audience here of meat-loving Southerners can take my impressions of this place with a grain of salt, but I had to leave a review anyway to share my good experience!

Moe's original BBQ is new to the city. It's a pretty cool nice gym to go eat at. The prices were reasonable, and the staff is very friendly. I must say the place is very clean. I got the rib plate (6 bones), greens, and Mac and cheese. I got my ribs with no BBQ sauce. They were great the smoke ring in the ribs was a wonderful sight to see and the seasoning was just right. Not to much or less. I was pretty surprised at the collard greens. They had a slight sweet taste, with I think pork sausage. They tasted great. The M&C was mid. I didn't care for it at all, not enough cheese for me, and kinda dry. It also came with a side of cornbread that was about a 6. I would say go check out this place it's a nice vibe.

Ordered multiple items. I was pleased with the meat selection and smoke. They had a variety of different barbecue sauces and other dipping sauces. The sides could definitely be better. I was extremely disappointed they did not have mac & cheese. The banana pudding we got to go and it was pretty good. Service was excellent! Food came out fast. Seating was great.

So after my first initial 6 times we went for 7th and final 8th time. The last 2 times did it for me as I ordered half-chicken and it was literally raw with blood squirting out of it. I was shocked to be honest and took it back to exchange for some smoked wings that were good. Last time I got ribs and they were served cold and chewy. I could not eat it. So disappointed.

Good atmosphere and location for barbecue. We had the pulled pork and smoked chicken sandwiches with cucumber salad and baked beans. They were fine. Will definitely return to try other items. Service was quick and we went between lunch and dinner hours.

I started off with the Moon Over Madagascar, and let me tell you--if this drink had a fan club, I'd be president. The black tea and vanilla combo sounded like a weird dare at first, but it ended up being shockingly amazing. Whoever came up with that mix deserves a bonus and maybe a parade. Now, let's talk about the shrimp and grits, because these were not just "good." These were "call your mama and tell her you've tasted greatness" good. The chef is from South Carolina, and you can taste every bit of Lowcountry pride in that bowl. Perfectly cooked grits? Check. Pile of blackened shrimp? Double check. A sauce that made me rethink my entire life? Oh yeah. If they sold that sauce by the gallon, I'd be bankrupt but extremely happy. Erica, our waitress, was an absolute rockstar. Super helpful, incredibly informative, and somehow managed to keep the perfect balance of friendly and professional--even on the Sunday after the Iron Bowl, when half of Auburn is stress-eating. The place was spotless too, which is impressive considering the emotional damage that game causes every year. Bottom line: The Hound is a must-visit. Come hungry, order boldly, and thank me later.

Was told by my colleagues that the Parker house rolls and cinnamon butter was great. I had the summer salad (spring greens, cherries, strawberries, and a HUGE knot of burrata cheese, with an additional grilled salmon). This salad was incredible. Highly recommend! The table shared some deviled eggs. The pickled onions on the deviled eggs was so good. Everyone dipped their fries in the chili crisp oil and agreed it was one of the best flavor combos of the trip. Our server gave us an extra side of it and gave my friend a side of kimchi to add to his burger. Just great all around service and vibe. While the restaurant feels like the height of 2015-2020 design (let's road trip in our sprinter van to a shipping container cottage!), everything feels airy and good to be there

Later that Wednesday evening, as the restaurant settled into a softer, more intimate glow, we opted…read morefor the main dining room rather than the rooftop. The hostess was warm and efficient, seating us immediately. Our server approached with the quiet confidence of someone who knows her craft--she was direct, professional, and all business in the best possible way. Even as closing time drew near, she kept my glass refreshed without needing to be asked, a small but telling detail that spoke volumes about her attentiveness. The space itself strikes a pleasant semi-formal note--clean, polished, and respectful without veering into stuffy territory. Behind the bar, the bartender was meticulously wiping down every bottle, a quiet display of care that set a tone of genuine pride in the operation. We began with a dozen oysters: six raw and six char-grilled. The raw specimens were on the petite side for the price, yet delivered a clean, bright, and pleasantly saline flavor that let the oyster speak for itself. The char-grilled version arrived with a savory Parmesan crust that brought its own appealing character--rich, cheesy, and nicely caramelized in a way that felt unique rather than derivative. The crab dip, however, was a standout. Far superior to the often disappointing versions we've encountered elsewhere, this one tasted of genuine lump crab meat, folded into a properly cheesy, indulgent dip that avoided any unfortunate "buffalo" detours. Served with crisp crostini, each bite was balanced and deeply satisfying--an authentic crab dip done right. The Korean cheesesteak offered an excellent harmony of flavors: tender, well-seasoned meat beneath a luxurious blanket of melted cheese, punctuated by the bright, spicy kick of kimchi and the refreshing snap of pickles. It was delicious, though for the price, I wished for a more generous filling and a bit more heft to the sandwich overall. The mac & cheese arrived in a commendably generous portion, with a beautiful Parmesan crust on top. Visually appealing, the dish unfortunately fell a touch flat on the palate. The noodles were properly cooked and coated in a creamy sauce, yet it lacked the depth and seasoning one hopes for-- a pinch more salt and pepper would have elevated it considerably. The fish and chips presented a towering mound of fries that carried decent flavor but lacked the shattering crispness one craves. The real disappointment lay in the presentation of the fish: two fillets stacked atop one another, causing the steaming heat to turn the once-promising breading soggy and prone to sliding off. That said, the fish itself was excellent--flaky, moist, and delicately sweet with a lovely buttery quality. It was the unfortunate interaction between steam and crust that kept the dish from greatness. The roads were a little dense, so not necessarily my particular style, but I'm good. The butter that came with them was very unique to say the least. To drink, both beers arrived filled to the absolute brim and proved so enjoyable that I would gladly order them again without hesitation. Overall, the evening delivered solid, thoughtful plates in a well-run environment, with several bright spots that make a return visit tempting--particularly for those oysters and that excellent crab dip.
