Rib dinner, dressing and Mac & cheese.
Lena C.

Holy bbq!! The bbq gods smiled down from the heavens on Neicy's. This place was is the TRUTH! Ok seriously, the damn best bbq I've had in a good while. Ribs were perfection. But here's the thing. The mustard sauce y'all! I am usually not a fan of mustard bbq. The lady at the counter asked- mustard sauce and slaw on top? Something in me just knew I had to. Thank gawd I went for it because this was the best sauce ever! Seriously should be bottled and sold everywhere. Sides: There was a bunch listed on the board, but we were late and they were out of baked beans. The dressing- omg! Creamed, yet fluffy. I just hope this is a year round thing. Mac & Cheese - you know it's creamy and delicious My guy got the combo, leg quarters and chopped pork sandwich (chips & drink) It cake with the same option of sauce and slaw. He also went for it. We were both enamored with everything. I only wish it was closer to where we live. When we are back in this area, I hope to have Neicy's again!

Coming here since 2018 when we first arrived in Fort Benning. We've never ordered anything that we don't like. All meals comes with a sweet tea on the side. The food is amazing it was our first experience with a mustard base BBQ sauce. The BBQ sauce is my favorite it has to be bottled and sold separately I'd buy it by the galloon.

I am from Columbus GA and let me say it's a shame that as many times I have been home I've never tried this place. Lots of great stories I heard of the food but never been. Nonetheless on this day of hanging with my mom and youngest daughter, I decided to give it a try. Because of COVID 19, of course this small business can only do to go dining. Parking is very limited on a Saturday afternoon. Probably always limited seeing that the area is small. You can smell the wonderful smell of barbecue walking up to place. Inside the place where the orders are taken, I say again, is small. The line was about 8 people deep. I did not see any postings for social distancing but I wasn't really looking for them either. I know that many of the people in line had on masks though. Neicys has a posted menu displayed but of course many items that you want they may be out of. With the place being so good you can only expect it. My mom and I ordered two rib plates which comes with half a slab of meaty ribs sauced with potato salad, baked beans and bread for $12 each. She ordered sauce on the side, but somehow our boxes got mixed up and i ended up with the sauce on the side. I ordered also for the kids since it was gonna be to go, two pulled pork sandwiches for $6. I want to say I enjoyed the food shortly after but after dropping my mom off, I had to drive an hour back to Lee county. However when I did get the chance to sit down, after reheating the plate the ribs were sooo good. The ribs were very meaty, succulent, and fell of the bone. The sauce was sweet and a bit spicy which was good. The potato salad was nice and the beans were smoky with hints of brown sugar. I couldn't believe how good it was. I can't wait to try some more menu items when given the chance.

If you're a fan of lemon-pepper, as it is the dominant spice on the ribs, then look no further!

BBQ was dry and old. Vegetables came out of a can. Cornbread was hard as a rock. We don't know how this place has such a high rating

Food was okay. Had the link sandwich and pulled pork sandwich. The sausage was good but the chopped beef was just okay.

This might be the best food in town. It's a bit off the beaten path, so it's safe to call Neicys BBQ a "hidden gem".

That homemade vodka red sauce and the fresh grated cheese ontop was perfect! It was so cheesy and so crunchy! Moving on to the drinks! We got the bada bing and Tony baloney and this was a classic soprano inspired drink. The Diet Coke glass with the tiny lemon peel and vintage straw was so clever! I never would have put lemon cello and Diet Coke together but it was great! Moving onto dinner! I have never had the type of sauce that my rigatoni came with, and it was a touch spicy but with a rich and creamy flavor! The crab and roasted herbs on it were so nice! 10/10! My husband's braised beef was so tender and melted like butter in your mouth. He ate it up! I got a good bit more pasta on my entree and my husband had no issues helping to eat the rest of mine! I definitely want to try a red vodka pasta next time! Service was great! Restaurant was so uniquely designed and atmosphere was fancy!

This place filled up quickly and had large parties. I really enjoyed the back patio and Gabi was a wonderful server. The Lambrusco was delicious and nicely chilled. I really enjoyed my Caesar Salad, the bacon crumbles added a nice touch to the dish. The Moz Sticks were a little cold upon arrival but were still delicious. The fresh grated parm on the Vodka Radiatore and salad was heavenly. That should go on the moz sticks too! Love the decor of classic tiles and bistro tables and chairs. Really cute place, friendly staff, and great food!

The dill pickle fries were the undisputed star of the evening--utterly addictive. These aren't your…read morestandard skinny fries; they're battered and fried to a glorious golden crisp, delivering that satisfying crunch with a bold dill-pickle punch. What elevates them is the accompanying sauce: thick, almost sour cream-like in texture, far from the usual watery ranch. It clings beautifully to each fry, adding a creamy tang that complements the batter without overwhelming it. A genuine standout appetizer I'd return for alone. The pizza, alas, fell flat. Labeled as pepperoni, it was disappointingly sparse on both sauce and toppings--barely qualifying as a proper pepperoni pie. The crust showed promise with visible preparation in front of the dual pizza ovens, a mesmerizing wood-fired spectacle that added theatrical flair. But execution-wise, it arrived dry and under-sauced, needing far more generosity in both departments to shine. Wings came in several flavors. The Korean barbecue offered decent smokiness, though it leaned heavier on smoke than authentic Korean barbecue depth--solid, but not transcendent. Garlic Parm was underwhelming, lacking the intense, heady garlic roar I crave; it felt muted. The Nashville hot, however, surprised in an intriguing way. Far from the traditional vinegar-forward, face-melting heat, this version presented a gentler, almost "spooky" (in the best sense) reinterpretation--smoky and layered, a fresh take that works even if it deviates from classics. Desserts redeemed the meal spectacularly. The icebox cake--a generous slice of chocolate cake topped with frosting--was beautifully balanced: not cloying sweetness, yet richly satisfying, with perfect harmony between cake and topping. An instant must-order repeat. The cheesecake ranks among the finest in the Columbus area--creamy, tangy New York-style with an impeccable crust, flawlessly balanced sweetness, and that ideal dense-yet-light texture. Top-tier stuff. The Oreo truffles and buckeyes were delightful little indulgences, if a touch pricey. The Oreo version bordered on overly sweet, but the buckeye nailed creamy peanut butter interior with crisp chocolate shell and layered flavors--excellent execution. Portion sizes on wings were generous and satisfying. The pizza itself could use more moisture and topping heft. What truly sets this place apart is the self-serve tap wall--an absolute game-changer. Wristband in hand, you pour your own beers, wines, or cocktails at your pace, no bartender small talk required. It's liberating, fun, and undeniably cool--the most innovative beverage experience I've encountered. Service started slow; as first-timers, we lingered without clear guidance on the system. Once oriented, though, the staff proved attentive and the vibe groovy with fitting music. Overall: strong on creative apps, stellar desserts, and that revolutionary tap wall, but the pizza and some wings need refinement. Worth a visit for the fries, sweets, and self-pour novelty--potential here, with tweaks to elevate it further.

The interior has been very well remodeled, with a bar, plenty of seating and a new restroom. It's very beautiful. When we arrived we were the only party there, although when we were eating another party joined. It was nice to have the space mostly to ourselves. But besides the interior the food is delicious as well. We ordered the crab cake appetizers first. They come with two fairly large crab cakes, with a nice spicy sauce and lemons to squeeze. They were delicious. As someone who doesn't each much sea food, the crab tasted very good especially with the sauce and lemon juice. Our server JR, was very attentive to our needs, checking in frequently and making sure we got everything we needed. I personally ordered the Shrimp and Broccoli Alfredo with a side of Mac and cheese. Others in our party had the Pork Chop, Salmon and Chicken Marsala. My Alfredo and chicken was one of the best I've ever had. The noodles were the perfect consistency and the Alfredo sauce was delicious. It went extremely well with the chicken. I tried a bit of the salmon and it tasted pretty good as well. Overall everyone was satisfied with their meal. The max was delicious, it actually comes with bits of bacon which is a nice surprise. For dinner we had peach cheesecake and chocolate lava cake. Although the peach cheesecake was good the lava cake stole the show. The chocolate was so rich and paired with the vanilla it was definitely one of the best I've ever had. Definitely would recommend.
