I usually frequent this spot on Friday nights for dinner. I love Bbq and the ribs always hit the spot.

I had a very concerning experience with this business and owner yesterday. I apologize in advance because this is lengthy, but necessary. I attempted to use my Wells Fargo debit card to pay for my purchase and it came back declined. I wasn't worried because I knew the funds were there. I looked at the reason and it said Restricted Use. I tried to ask the young girl what that reason code was but she didn't know. About this time, I was receiving a fraud alert from Wells Fargo, so I knew they suspected fraud. No problem. I said I'll just use a different card. The machine printed out a fairly long receipt for the decline and the young lady was confused by it so she asked the older gentleman, whom I assume is the owner. He looked at it and kinda waved it off and said the problem was with my card and also stated the same thing had happened to someone else earlier that day. I said no sir, the cards don't create transactions, it receives it from the merchant. All the card does is authorizes the amount. It has no control over what is being charged by the merchant. He shook his head and waved me off. So she gave me the receipt and wow! The receipt was dated January 5, 2006. It had the items I was trying to buy as a laptop case, a women's wallet, and a few other things. It even had a $30 tip added. No food, though! It also had the last 4 digits of a different card than what mine are. I have years of bank branch management and corporate sales management experience, so I knew there was a problem. His system was hacked. There was definitely a processing issue. When I got my food, I tried to speak with the older gentleman to let him know that there is a problem. He was very rude and dismissive to me. He told me he's sorry (not genuinely) but it's not a problem on his side because it's a brand new machine. I told him it's not the machine, it's the backend where the transactions are being processed. He proceeded to indignantly ask me, "Well do you have one I can use"? I was taken aback, because really? I'm a paying customer! I said I have one but I use it myself. He asked what kind it was and when I told him, he said oh no. They are too expensive. He never tried to apologize or even listen to what I was trying to tell him. I didn't get a chance to show him all of the issues with the receipt. I was not rude or nasty when I tried talk to him. I'm writing this for 2 reasons. One is because I refuse to pay you for your product and/or service and be treated this way. Lack of, or bad customer service is non-negotiable for me. Secondly, I want other buyers to beware if you are using a credit or debit card. If my bank had not caught the error, I could have been charged over $200 for some barbecue. Needless to say, neither me, my mom, or my colleague who was with us will be going back. read more

After taking a trip to Georgia to visit family I discovered J'juniors BBQ. Everything was awesome!! I order the fried rib tips and they fell off the bone as soon as we started eating them. The owner and his family were so nice and the location was not too far from where my family lives. I will return to J'juniors BBQ when we come back to visit family. read more
