While in town, we had driven by this little hole in the wall a few times and saw several cars in their lot each time. We weren't starving but figured the locals knew something we didn't so decided to stop and give them a try. it's a chicken place but when I saw they had burgers in the menu my appetite was whetted for a cheeseburger. My partner ordered the same thing. Our meal took quite a long time to be ready. We watched 4 people walk in, order and wait and all be called on before we were. Perhaps if we had gone with the chicken we would have had better luck. With that said the burger and fries were great. I believe they were hand pattied and included fresh tomatoes and lettuce. The buns were soft and fresh. As good as the hamburgers were at a "chicken" place I am disappointed that I didn't try the chicken. And the gizzards. And the chicken salad. We should have listened to the other reviews......... but we've driven by this hole in the wall and wanted to try it. Sometimes they can be gems! This was NOT. First, we agree the staff did not want to be there nor acknowledge that you existed. Second, the food was lousy. Chicken had no seasonings or flavor, okra was burnt, French fries average. The only thing that was good was the Diet Coke! Definitely not going back nor recommend. Big disappointment!!! read more

Chicken is off the chain awesome, they sure do put a scald on that chicken. I could just eat the skin/crust! Fried okra is also great, potato salad is really creamy and good but it has added sugar, why? It would be A + if not for that. Twice now we have been disappointed with the chicken livers; the coating completely falls off and the flavor has too much pepper. If they could correct the batter and cook the livers just until tender they would be awesome too. read more

We ordered lemon pepper wings, 6 fried whole chicken wings, a pork chop sandwich and man all was awesome!!!!! The food is good and satisfying. Prices seem a little steep but that's business. My main beef with this chicken place is the people taking orders and handing them out. The girls seem mostly bored and disinterested in being there, though there are one or two who are a little more friendly. Bottom line: it's predictable fare, pretty great chicken tenders, you get what you pay for kind of stuff, and you just have to remember the staff is mainly teenaged girls who are just being,,,teenagers, which explains the disengaged, bored attitudes! It's like having the cook in your house make a meal that is then served to you by your moody teen. If you've never lived with teens, it's off-setting. If you currently live with teens, it's familiar. Great chicken tenders, hamburgers, chicken buckets, etc... My family eats here every week (probably shouldn't admit that, but it's true. Sometimes multiple times in a week). One word would do...AMAZING!!!! Lemon pepper wings, chicken tenders, and gizzards were delicious. Wings were good plump wings and tenders were real chicken (not pressed meat). Fries were good and crispy. Only complaint is the time we had to wait for our food. After ordering we waited over 30 mins. I visited Chipley's for the first time with my family recently. When you walk in, you order at a counter, and they cook your food fresh. There was a lot of people picking up plates of food on their lunch break. Everyone in my family loved their food! I ordered chicken tenders, and they were delicious! Also, their ranch is really good! The restaurant is small, but there are a number of tables for large and small groups. They also had a TV for those who want to watch while they eat. When I am in Pine Mountain again, I will definitely stop by for some delicious chicken! read more

We stopped here to grab some food to take to symphony on the sand. We got a 3 piece chicken meal, a steak sandwich, and a chicken salad. Everyone had good things to say and enjoyed their food. The chicken was cooked well, juicy and flavorful. I wasn't expecting the steak sandwich to be chicken fried steak, I was thinking sliced steak, but it was still really tasty, probably better than sliced steak would have been. Not only does this look like it is a little box on a small lot, but there is nothing special about the box itself. But what is inside is pretty darn good. Prices are decent, food was good- lemonade was awesome! I only wish I had thought to order what the GA state trooper ordered behind me and that was a Sweet Tea and Lemonade! Damn, an Arnold Palmer never occurred to me! I had the Chicken Tender #1 meal and the chicken was very tender and tasty. I was told to try the Gold & Bold sauce and it was a good call. It had a nice light mustardy BBQ sauce that went good on the fries as well! Place was really clean and neat inside, with flat screens for their menus. Usually we have no issues when making an order and enjoy the food we receive. Today we called an order in for lunch. They were very busy as it was after lunch, even so we didn't have to wait long. We ordered five meals and drinks. My youngest kids meal order was left off and we didn't realize it until we got home. So I headed back to the restaurant and called on my way. They did have my missing order when I arrived. Which I appreciate, but I had to spend extra gas, my food will be cold when I get back home and my youngest has to wait to eat while the others are eating. Bot an ideal situation. Next time I will check every Co tai we and not assume that the order is correct. Also all my food containers were stacked in one bag and crushed the styrofoam containers. My recommendation is for Chipley's staff to not try to stack everything on one bag, Rios May also help yo have avoided the mistake of my missing order. read more
