JB's Dream Deli has some of the best and biggest wings, the best and biggest butterflied shrimp, the best grilled chicken salad, the juiciest burgers...and so many sides to choose from, like the ultimate fries, tater tots, fried rice, sweet potato fries and my personal favorite garlic Parmesan fries...oh my goodness!!! There are a ton of different items on their menu...much more than it shows online, so I suggest ordering in-person on your first few visits. The service staff have always been pleasant, courteous and prompt. This is a small restaurant, but they have a few cozy tables if you'd like to dine-in. I have ordered from here several times, and they don't disappoint. The wings are great, especially the lemon pepper and honey lemon pepper.

Ordered from Door dash. Even called to restaurant prior to and to no avail. I asked who I was speaking with. The accented man said JB. Ok, "JB". The fried rice (not pictured) was just...RICE! No veggies, eggs, no taste. The Philly was typical. That's why I ordered JBs because it was advertised with the cheese sauce but I didn't get that. Salad was sorry and it's really hard to mess up a salad. I ordered wings too. They were decent enough but considering all else, not redeeming the whole meal. Catfish overcooked. First of all, I came here because I read all the good reviews that were written seven months to a year ago. This place was a total disappointment. On the menu, there are pictures of refillable fountain drinks and I was given a can of Dr Pepper that was barely even cold. They have all this tacky plastic around the cash register that makes it look like a haunted house and the guys working there were playing games on their phone the entire time I was there. I was not given a fork for my cheese fries so there was no way to eat them without plunging my fingers into all the cheese. I didn't even eat them. Poor business plan, poor execution, and poor management. The tables weren't clean at all because they were sticky. This place is a total dive and I will not be going back. JBs is a solid five star restaurant. I've enjoyed everything I've gotten there. Wings, Philly cheesesteaks, shrimp and they make the fries in different fancy ways. The staff is friendly and wonderful. The only suggestion I would make would be to clean up the area outside the door entrance, I am a boomer so maybe that is why it was so off putting for me. My thought was that this doesn't match what I know this place is, and it could make someone else not stop in. Hopefully the owner sees this review. Again JB's is awesome, the food is fantastic. I recently started coming here with my boyfriend, I usually get the butterflied shrimp and have a hot honey sauce added to mine. They are insanely good, the size of the shrimp are big. My guy usually gets chicken wings in the medium sauce great size, great flavor all around and one of the better places for wings in Columbus. I am a bit picky when it comes to food but they have good food. First off, don't let the name fool you; this is not a deli, in any meaningful sense. Get a look at the menu. That said, what they do sell is a *lot* of fried food, and if you like fried food, this place is pretty good for it. My wife and I had more food than was probably good for us, for $25 + tip. Also note, this isn't fast food; they make all the food to order, and you wait for it. Nothing has been sitting under heat lamps waiting for someone to order it. My wife had a fried shrimp sandwich (she said was very good), and I had combo #1, which has a couple of large fried catfish filets (other fish are available), 5 chicken wings (various flavors available), and a side of fried okra. They did a great job frying all this. The catfish was a bit less done than most places, so it was very juicy and soft, but with a crispy thin coating that didn't overwhelm the fish. The wings were tender and crispy, with a nice lemon pepper seasoning. The okra was everything fried okra should be. I think you either love it or hate fried okra. I love it. The to-go boxes have holes in them, so while your food won't stay *quite* as hot on the way home, it also won't steam. This makes fried food stay crispy, with none of the disappointment of getting home to find it soggy. The people at the counter were very friendly and professional. We could have gotten a more reasonable amount of food for more like $15 for two people, so the prices are not bad, we just had a lot. I suspect we'll be back, to try other items, but that was enough fried food for a while. read more

Went to this new wing spot from hearing about it on the radio. I ordered half lemon pepper wet and the other half honey sriracha. Upon the looks of it , the lemon pepper looked very well seasoned... they were very SALTY, next I tasted the honey sriracha and I can HONESTLY SAY these tasted like SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE!!!!! I didn't taste any HONEY AT ALL; it tasted like sweet and sour sauce made with pineapple juice and then they used cayenne pepper for the kick.... OWNER: call it what you want but please don't false represent your food. If I wanted sweet and sour chicken I would of went to Dollar Scoop next door. Very disappointed.... read more

We ordered fried tilapia, shrimp, fried rice, and fries. There's nothing left, we thoroughly enjoyed it all. The shrimp are much larger than we expected and the tilapia was perfectly crispy! We still have to try the wings! There are lots of flavor choices that I'm looking forward to. It's located right next door to the "dollar scoop" Chinese place.
