Summary: very nice place with good food, good service and reasonable prices, plus a pleasant drive. No need to fight traffic and look for parking like in ATL. Definitely worth a visit. Story: went for our anniversary after deciding there was no way we wanted to drive to ATL. It is certainly off the beaten path but GPS found it no problem. We had reservations but went on a Tuesday night so it wasn't busy. The decor is dated but nice, not pretentious or stuffy at all. Everyone was very pleasant, attentive and helpful. Not a craft beer or high end wine selection, but reasonably priced. We ordered the specials: rainbow trout for my wife and some lobster pasta dish for myself. Both were very good. Going with 4 stars mainly due to the sides of carrots and beans not exactly up to the caliber of the main dish. I would recommend

We have been long time fans of Dagher's since our daughter's wedding reception was held here a decade ago. Tonight we had an amazing slow-roasted pork shank and terrifically tasty sea bass followed by a breathtaking caramel turtle cheesecake. Always call ahead for a reservation and always come with a hearty appetite. Dagher and Christy will make you feel like family.

We arrived an found that the owner Dagher was very friendly and hospitable so willing to make everyone happy and comfortable. The server a very lovely lady had a wonderful smile and very knowledgeable on the menu. They sat us down in a comfortable table they asked us for our drink order and allowed us time to look at the menu. The owner hisself came to our table explained the specials and continued to have a nice conversation with us. A very nice surprise. After talk to the waitress we order our starters crab cake for my wife which are very close in flavor to Maryland crab cakes, I ordered the escargot which were sautéed and garlic wine, butter sauce and placed on toasted French bread both were excellent. For our entree my wife ordered the specialty trout dish with mash potatoes and vegetables. I ordered KC style Ribeye on bone mash potatoes and vegetables. They both blew us away with flavor and both will melt in your mouth. We both love the restaurant it made us feel so comfortable and very happy also so relaxing! We love this restaurant!!!!! Owner is in a class of his own!!! Please remember to call ahead for a reservation.

Kindness can not be measured in stars.

The food and service is that of a fine dinning. The steaks and seafood are to die for! Best cocktail shrimp in the area as well.

It's so hard to find great spots where I can sit outside with my furbabies, but they were so welcoming to my dogs. Plus, when the bill came, I was shocked at how low the price was for the amount and quality of food we got. Great vibes, delicious eats, and pet-friendly, we will definitely be back

Five Stars -- This Place Saved the Trip…read more Let me set the scene. We were heading to Callaway Gardens to pick up some Venice jewelry (I'll talk about that later), when I discovered that the Oyster House -- the seafood spot I was counting on -- was permanently closed according to Yelp. I was devastated. Like... fully prepared to cancel Pine Mountain altogether. I was having a whole moment. Then I did a little digging and found out that Eddie Mae's Kountry Kitchen & Oyster Bar had the same owner. I found this out before we arrived, and I knew immediately -- we HAD to stop there. And let me tell you... January 3, 2026 -- this is all I needed in my life. This is GOOD seafood. Like, really good seafood. Freshly cooked. Hot. Flavorful. Done right. The service? AMAZING. The people? Warm, genuine, country hospitality at its finest. The vibe? Real, welcoming, and comfortable -- no nonsense, just good food and good people. Food. Service. Atmosphere. People. Clean restaurant. Clean restrooms. Five stars across the board. I'll be honest -- I will never come to Pine Mountain again unless I know Eddie Mae's is open. I need y'all to hang in there with me because otherwise I can't even travel outside of Atlanta for real. If you want legit seafood, incredible service, and that authentic country goodness -- this is the place.

Wrangling twenty hungry folks is no small feat, but our waitress handled us like a maestro conducting a seafood symphony. Not one single mess up. Not one forgotten order. Just pure joy, laughter, and the kind of energy that makes you swear her heart runs on sweet tea and Sunday kindness. She didn't just serve us, she took care of us. Her laughter kept us laughing, her smile kept us smiling, and her love for what she does poured out like sweet tea on a hot day. The world needs more people like her, because she reminded us that service can be more than just food, it can be a refreshing, soul filling experience. And the food? Absolutely amazing. Not only did we have seafood, but some of us went for the buffet, the kiddos got their grilled cheese, and the burgers were downright delicious. Plates of goodness that made us forget all about yesterday's turkey coma. To top it off, they had my favorite wine (hallelujah!) and beers for everyone else, which meant the whole table was happy. Eddie Mae's gave us more than lunch, it gave us a memory. A funny, touching, belly filling memory that we'll be talking about for years. Five stars, no hesitation.

It was 1:30 on a Wednesday, and we were surprised to find the restaurant still full of customers; but there was a nice table for us. I'm always happy when a restaurant has several choices of wine and beer, a good assortment of appetizers, salads, main dishes and desserts. So far so good. We started with wine and a Caesar salad, followed by fettuccine Alfredo and chicken Marsala. The servings were so large, that despite our hunger, we took enough home for our dinner. The food was very tasty. And the restaurant is located in a historic building, with exposed brick, and displays racks of wine, and has a bona fide pizza oven. Note to self: must return to try pizza, the crab and shrimp dishes, and desserts!

When I search reviews on a business before going, I don't just accept them at face value, but rather, read them and determine if the reviewers are just entitled brats. lol Now that being said: here we go... ha ha This place was the worst experience I can recall with a business in nearly 50 years of life. It was very cold outside, and looking at the online pics looked like it was open-air seating only. So I called them to ensure there was also indoor seating at this cool looking bar. It was 8pm. The man reassured us there were indoor seating options. He then asked "are ya'll coming tonight?" I replied that we were. He then said "how long?" I then asked what time they closed. He replied at 10pm. A little perplexed, I let him know we were on the way. Red flag #1. I told my husband I didn't want to feel rushed out the door if they were trying to close early and didn't really get the vibe they wanted our business. He suggested we just give them a try anyway. When we pulled up, we noticed maybe 3 cars in the parking lot of this very big property. Red flag #2. As we entered the hotel, the gentleman asked us if we called about the bar. We said yes and he directed us to the entrance doors. The entrance was essentially the exit... to the outdoors. HAHA It was approx 40 degrees outside. As my husband and I looked a little perplexed, a female approached where we were standing, never even looked at us or acknowledged us in ANY way and said to the gentleman, "WHAT DO THEY WANT?" He informed her we were there for the bar. We asked where the indoor seating was. Y'ALL... this man took us back in the hotel lobby and pointed at the lobby area. You want us to eat a late dinner and have drinks at this cool looking bar, but in actuality we sit where patrons eat their continental breakfast and are served by someone who has all but said "why are you here?" What?? So... my husband and I said no thank you and went to Cowboy Town which is a very short drive away. Please go there instead. Great food and drinks with a super cool small town vibe, live music, and barrel racing most weekends. Maybe when the weather is warm and the pool is open, The View would be a cool establishment. But it needs to be seasonal only and absolutely closed the remainder of the year. Bless it. I do believe the reviews you see are mostly BS. Please pay very close attention to the details of them.
