Curry chicken, yellow rice, collard greens and plantains. Food was very good and well seasoned. Service was excellent.

The food and the service was very good. I also had a tropical pineapple and ginger drink - very refreshing.

15 BBQ wings, dips, world famous BIG onion rings, Arnold Palmer beverage....Sidewalk dining.

Monday, October 6, 2025, 3PM ish. Guest from Texas I wanted to her to enjoy a new type of food, WOW professional climate, pretty setting and groovy side walk eating! Our waiter was very professional, dressed appropriately, knew the menu and eager to serve. The food was delicious, hot with live fire and plenty. Entrees purchased....Shrimp and Grits, Fish Red snapper with rice. BBQ wings(15) with those world class onion rings. Plate to go Curry Stir Fry chicken with rice, plantain and Arnold Palmer and Peach like beverage. Very yummy! We were made comfortable the entire experience. Eatz on the Corner is unique in many ways and I truly enjoy eating and relaxing in a caring environment. Hats off to the owners and chefs. Thank you!

For dinner, we stopped at one of the very few places open on Mondays in Pine Mountain, GA: @eatzonthecorner. I'm glad they were open because this place is great! The server told us their signature dish is the Shrimp and Grits and the Fish and Grits. I opted for the Shrimp and Grits. My goodness was this a delicious bowl of shrimp and grits. Whatever secret seasoning they put on that shrimp, not only did it make the shrimp tasty, but woke up those grits too. I inhaled this bowl. So good! Mah Wife opted for the the weekly special, which was the Bourbon Glazed smoked ribs. These ribs were perfect. Tender, but with a nice chew and toothiness. A nice spicy front end and a sweet finish. For dessert we got the Apple Cream Bomb. It's an caramel apple pecan tart served on a screaming hot cast iron skillet with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream. The only negative is I wish I had a bigger spoon. A fantastic finish to a great dinner.

    Orange marmalade cake

Everything was wonderful from start to finish I especially loved the orange marmalade cake very very top tier. Go if you're in the area because I will definitely do the same. Not a lot of space to sit not a bad thing just something to think about for large crowds also the food is made to order this is not fast food it's good food.

This place is amazing. It may be small, yet it packs a punch. The food was so flavorful. The atmosphere was really nice. Our waitress was so nice and attentive. Food is cooked fresh and came out hot. I am normally not a lemon pepper wing person. Yet I tried one of my daughters and I was blown away. They were crisp and the flavor was perfect. I was blown away. The catfish was cooked perfectly and flavorfully. The salmon and sauce on it was amazing on the burgers. If in the area you need to stop here. If I could bring them back to my small town in Alabama I would.

We took the scenic route home to Tennessee from Florida and found this little gem! This little place is great all around! The food was delicious! The service was excellent!

    Receipt.

Had a table of three when we first get there our server takes atleast 10 minutes to take our drinks then says go ahead and do the food. Got fried catfish which was okay. I asked for grilled shrimp got fried the greens were very gross. Couldn't trade it out for anything which most places let you if you like something. Especially if your meal was 16 bucks. then the server recommended this sauce that was 78 cent which wasn't that good. Also got a burger which is the only good part. The server was rude and towards the end had my card for at least 15 minutes. I don't recommend and for 57 dollars definitely do not recommend.

We were seated in the booth next to the entrance. By that time there were many empty tables and lunch service was winding down. The bar remained full of what seemed to be regulars, based on interactions with staff. Despite groups of servers busing tables (4 servers and a hostess bussing a 2-top in front of us) and constantly walking by it was over 15 min before a server approached us. With the claim of "best burger in the south" we ordered 5 burgers and 1 hamburger steak. It took 40 min to receive our food. The crinkle-cut fries were very good. The burgers were large. We ordered at least one of every burger on the menu and nine lives up to the designation of best burger in the South. Every burger was overcooked and the buns were large but dry and crumbling. You must ask for condiments to dress your own burgers. Pickles, lettuce and onions are on the side. Bacon was thick and cooked perfectly. The pimento cheese was plentiful. The hamburger steak was a slice of meatloaf with onions and gravy, "nothing special". After receiving our food we did not see our waiter again (refills, condiments, etc) until we asked for out check. We were unable to get water refills during our meal but to-go waters were offered with the check. There is outdoor seating with umbrellas. Several TVs throughout the establishment. The menu offered a good number of options. With a large number of high-top tables, large bar and multiple TVs thiabwas a more casual atmosphere

I ordered the pub smash burger and my friend got the Irish grilled cheese. My burger was good. The Irish grilled cheese was awesome. I would probably order that next time but there's other things on the menu I want to try too! We both liked their fries. For the drinks, we ordered the blueberry & pineapple don sour and the blackberry margarita. Both of them were really good. Our server was awesome. It seemed like a bit of a one woman show for a while there lol - she was greeting, hostessing, serving, and bartending. I can't remember her name exactly but she had blonde hair that was a little bit shy of shoulder length and she was very friendly. Whoever that was, give her a raise haha. She was quick and we liked her vibes. The food took a little bit of time but it was also a dead part of the afternoon and everything came out piping hot so definitely fresh/cooked to order. I'm willing to wait for that :) this is a place you come to enjoy, not eat fast and leave. The prices were reasonable, the menu was expansive, and the parking was plentiful since it's downtown and there are a good bit of spots around. The location is convenient and you can walk around afterward. The inside was beautiful; I loved the ambiance of it. Oh and last but not least - bathroom was nice and clean!! Garrett suggested Amsterdam for lunch. Located near the Auburn campus, Amsterdam is one of more well known eateries off campus. Students may not have eaten at Amsterdam, but most can point you in the right direction. I've been tricked by appearances before but Amsterdam is in a category of its own. There's a front and a back part of the building. But I didn't know that until we were led to our table in the back. The front part is a typical "smallish" restaurant with tight booths and tables. The decorations of impressionist painters adorn the walls giving the front dining room a warm inviting feel. When we were led to our table, I thought I was being led to the restrooms. We actually went past the restrooms down a small flight of stairs and into another large room. This beautiful back room was oozing the "hidden wine cellar" vibe throughout. There were tables and chairs in the center with smaller tables and chairs lining one wall and booths on another. Then there's a large full service bar lining the 3rd wall and a workstation on the 4th wall. The ceiling with hanging panels of wood moved the light beautifully and impressed me. There was also a large floor to ceiling wine rack next to our 4 top. Gary tried their Omelet. Three eggs served with conecuh sausage, bacon, onions, peppers, cheddar cheese, and potatoes. With the sourdough toast, the plating was immaculate. I didn't get to taste it, but Gary didn't have any deiicions/ Garrett opted for their Brunch special: Apple & Pecan Freeman toast. When it arrived to our table, we immediately noticed the large slices of French toast. As promised, the French toast was topped with slices of peaches and apples and butter brown sugar with white powder sugar as well. Again I didn't get to taste, but I savored it with my eye. Paul and I tried the Amsterdam Burger. He got some fries as his side, but I upgraded my side to a beautifully plated side salad. With the added fried egg, my patty was grilled to a perfect medium with just a hint of pink. Stacked with it was some lettuce, caramelized onions, applewood bacon, spicy pickles, tomato and their traditional burger sauce all squeezed together between 2 bun halves, it has to be stabbed with a long food pick to hold it together. It was juicy, tasty and just Yom Yom Yom Yom. Our server was attentive and checked on us frequently. Other notable menu items include fried brussels, lobster egg rolls, rum salmon, breakfast croissant, snickerdoodle pancakes, steak & eggs, egg white omelet and shrimp & grits. I was told their Crab Cake & Avocado is to die for. Meal prices are on the high end but Amsterdam understands how to elevate Southern comfort food.
