Curry chicken, yellow rice, collard greens and plantains. Food was very good and well seasoned. Service was excellent.

The food and the service was very good. I also had a tropical pineapple and ginger drink - very refreshing.

15 BBQ wings, dips, world famous BIG onion rings, Arnold Palmer beverage....Sidewalk dining.

Monday, October 6, 2025, 3PM ish. Guest from Texas I wanted to her to enjoy a new type of food, WOW professional climate, pretty setting and groovy side walk eating! Our waiter was very professional, dressed appropriately, knew the menu and eager to serve. The food was delicious, hot with live fire and plenty. Entrees purchased....Shrimp and Grits, Fish Red snapper with rice. BBQ wings(15) with those world class onion rings. Plate to go Curry Stir Fry chicken with rice, plantain and Arnold Palmer and Peach like beverage. Very yummy! We were made comfortable the entire experience. Eatz on the Corner is unique in many ways and I truly enjoy eating and relaxing in a caring environment. Hats off to the owners and chefs. Thank you!

    Orange marmalade cake

Everything was wonderful from start to finish I especially loved the orange marmalade cake very very top tier. Go if you're in the area because I will definitely do the same. Not a lot of space to sit not a bad thing just something to think about for large crowds also the food is made to order this is not fast food it's good food.

For dinner, we stopped at one of the very few places open on Mondays in Pine Mountain, GA: @eatzonthecorner. I'm glad they were open because this place is great! The server told us their signature dish is the Shrimp and Grits and the Fish and Grits. I opted for the Shrimp and Grits. My goodness was this a delicious bowl of shrimp and grits. Whatever secret seasoning they put on that shrimp, not only did it make the shrimp tasty, but woke up those grits too. I inhaled this bowl. So good! Mah Wife opted for the the weekly special, which was the Bourbon Glazed smoked ribs. These ribs were perfect. Tender, but with a nice chew and toothiness. A nice spicy front end and a sweet finish. For dessert we got the Apple Cream Bomb. It's an caramel apple pecan tart served on a screaming hot cast iron skillet with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream. The only negative is I wish I had a bigger spoon. A fantastic finish to a great dinner.

This place is amazing. It may be small, yet it packs a punch. The food was so flavorful. The atmosphere was really nice. Our waitress was so nice and attentive. Food is cooked fresh and came out hot. I am normally not a lemon pepper wing person. Yet I tried one of my daughters and I was blown away. They were crisp and the flavor was perfect. I was blown away. The catfish was cooked perfectly and flavorfully. The salmon and sauce on it was amazing on the burgers. If in the area you need to stop here. If I could bring them back to my small town in Alabama I would.

    Receipt.

Had a table of three when we first get there our server takes atleast 10 minutes to take our drinks then says go ahead and do the food. Got fried catfish which was okay. I asked for grilled shrimp got fried the greens were very gross. Couldn't trade it out for anything which most places let you if you like something. Especially if your meal was 16 bucks. then the server recommended this sauce that was 78 cent which wasn't that good. Also got a burger which is the only good part. The server was rude and towards the end had my card for at least 15 minutes. I don't recommend and for 57 dollars definitely do not recommend.

    Big mouth burger with cabbage!

The restaurant is very cute and truly has an "at home" feel. I was really looking forward to having the short rib. Unfortunately when we were seated our waitress told us they didn't have it that day. While ordering drinks my husband was ordering beer and he was told they didn't sell what he was asking for. Even though it was listed on the menu. He ended up ordering whatever the waitress suggested and we ordered the shrimp cocktail while we looked over the menu. The shrimp cocktail was very good. For dinner I ordered the filet with lobster and my husband the Pork shank. My filet came out overcooked but was promptly fixed. The lobster was amazing ! My husband wasn't a big fan of the pork. We did order a cheesecake for dessert that was also really good. Overall our experience was pleasant but food wise not what I'd expected from the other reviews. However the service was great. The owner is so nice and spent time socializing at each table. He even came to make sure my second set of fillets were good to go. Our waitress is also very nice. I can see us trying this place out again. Hopefully on a night they have short rib.

When I search reviews on a business before going, I don't just accept them at face value, but rather, read them and determine if the reviewers are just entitled brats. lol Now that being said: here we go... ha ha This place was the worst experience I can recall with a business in nearly 50 years of life. It was very cold outside, and looking at the online pics looked like it was open-air seating only. So I called them to ensure there was also indoor seating at this cool looking bar. It was 8pm. The man reassured us there were indoor seating options. He then asked "are ya'll coming tonight?" I replied that we were. He then said "how long?" I then asked what time they closed. He replied at 10pm. A little perplexed, I let him know we were on the way. Red flag #1. I told my husband I didn't want to feel rushed out the door if they were trying to close early and didn't really get the vibe they wanted our business. He suggested we just give them a try anyway. When we pulled up, we noticed maybe 3 cars in the parking lot of this very big property. Red flag #2. As we entered the hotel, the gentleman asked us if we called about the bar. We said yes and he directed us to the entrance doors. The entrance was essentially the exit... to the outdoors. HAHA It was approx 40 degrees outside. As my husband and I looked a little perplexed, a female approached where we were standing, never even looked at us or acknowledged us in ANY way and said to the gentleman, "WHAT DO THEY WANT?" He informed her we were there for the bar. We asked where the indoor seating was. Y'ALL... this man took us back in the hotel lobby and pointed at the lobby area. You want us to eat a late dinner and have drinks at this cool looking bar, but in actuality we sit where patrons eat their continental breakfast and are served by someone who has all but said "why are you here?" What?? So... my husband and I said no thank you and went to Cowboy Town which is a very short drive away. Please go there instead. Great food and drinks with a super cool small town vibe, live music, and barrel racing most weekends. Maybe when the weather is warm and the pool is open, The View would be a cool establishment. But it needs to be seasonal only and absolutely closed the remainder of the year. Bless it. I do believe the reviews you see are mostly BS. Please pay very close attention to the details of them.

We were heading to Callaway Gardens to pick up some Venice jewelry (I'll talk about that later), when I discovered that the Oyster House -- the seafood spot I was counting on -- was permanently closed according to Yelp. I was devastated. Like... fully prepared to cancel Pine Mountain altogether. I was having a whole moment. Then I did a little digging and found out that Eddie Mae's Kountry Kitchen & Oyster Bar had the same owner. I found this out before we arrived, and I knew immediately -- we HAD to stop there. And let me tell you... January 3, 2026 -- this is all I needed in my life. This is GOOD seafood. Like, really good seafood. Freshly cooked. Hot. Flavorful. Done right. The service? AMAZING. The people? Warm, genuine, country hospitality at its finest. The vibe? Real, welcoming, and comfortable -- no nonsense, just good food and good people. Food. Service. Atmosphere. People. Clean restaurant. Clean restrooms. Five stars across the board. I'll be honest -- I will never come to Pine Mountain again unless I know Eddie Mae's is open. I need y'all to hang in there with me because otherwise I can't even travel outside of Atlanta for real. Wrangling twenty hungry folks is no small feat, but our waitress handled us like a maestro conducting a seafood symphony. Not one single mess up. Not one forgotten order. Just pure joy, laughter, and the kind of energy that makes you swear her heart runs on sweet tea and Sunday kindness. She didn't just serve us, she took care of us. Her laughter kept us laughing, her smile kept us smiling, and her love for what she does poured out like sweet tea on a hot day. The world needs more people like her, because she reminded us that service can be more than just food, it can be a refreshing, soul filling experience. And the food? Absolutely amazing. Not only did we have seafood, but some of us went for the buffet, the kiddos got their grilled cheese, and the burgers were downright delicious. Plates of goodness that made us forget all about yesterday's turkey coma. To top it off, they had my favorite wine (hallelujah!) and beers for everyone else, which meant the whole table was happy. Eddie Mae's gave us more than lunch, it gave us a memory. A funny, touching, belly filling memory that we'll be talking about for years. Five stars, no hesitation.
