Pork chop, green beans and black eyed oeas

Very friendly, quick service! My husband had the pork chop and enjoyed every bite. Everything was good except the Mac n cheese, which everyone raved about, so I guess it was just a bad day for it! The noodles were overcooked and it was just soggy and weird! The poppy seed chicken lacked flavor, but it was ok. I would go back and try other options! Everyone seemed pleased.

I have wanted to eat here for a long time but they are only open for lunch. Today was my lucky day. The food and service are very southern. I tried all the vegetables and the peach cobbler. Food was delicious. It's mostly local people ordering and eating here which is comforting. They charged extra for cards so bring cash .

Southern style prepared food, simple and always good. Never tough to eat. Comes out soon after ordering. Pleasant and friendly staff. Neat environment, was an old church.

This was ok. It is a "meat and 3" lunch spot located in a former church. There is one large dining room where all the pews used to be. Service is prompt and friendly. The food is served on an undivided plate so if you don't want the juice from your greens and peas to run into the rice your chicken sits on you had better ask them to put the veggies in little bowls for you. I learned this after the fact while we were paying.

The salad plate- seven salads and a lot to eat!

The atmosphere is special and the home-style food is delicious. We had the salad plate, chicken and vegetables, and the pork chop and vegetables. Of course, who could pass on the desserts when peach cobbler and peanut butter pie are on the menu? Both desserts were outstanding.

Always great Southern cooking. Been in business at least 35 years in the same location.

Five Stars -- This Place Saved the Trip…read more Let me set the scene. We were heading to Callaway Gardens to pick up some Venice jewelry (I'll talk about that later), when I discovered that the Oyster House -- the seafood spot I was counting on -- was permanently closed according to Yelp. I was devastated. Like... fully prepared to cancel Pine Mountain altogether. I was having a whole moment. Then I did a little digging and found out that Eddie Mae's Kountry Kitchen & Oyster Bar had the same owner. I found this out before we arrived, and I knew immediately -- we HAD to stop there. And let me tell you... January 3, 2026 -- this is all I needed in my life. This is GOOD seafood. Like, really good seafood. Freshly cooked. Hot. Flavorful. Done right. The service? AMAZING. The people? Warm, genuine, country hospitality at its finest. The vibe? Real, welcoming, and comfortable -- no nonsense, just good food and good people. Food. Service. Atmosphere. People. Clean restaurant. Clean restrooms. Five stars across the board. I'll be honest -- I will never come to Pine Mountain again unless I know Eddie Mae's is open. I need y'all to hang in there with me because otherwise I can't even travel outside of Atlanta for real. If you want legit seafood, incredible service, and that authentic country goodness -- this is the place.

The day after Thanksgiving, about twenty of us rolled into Eddie Mae's Seafood Kitchen in Pine…read moreMountain, Georgia, still stuffed with turkey but ready for something fried, buttery, and Southern. Wrangling twenty hungry folks is no small feat, but our waitress handled us like a maestro conducting a seafood symphony. Not one single mess up. Not one forgotten order. Just pure joy, laughter, and the kind of energy that makes you swear her heart runs on sweet tea and Sunday kindness. She didn't just serve us, she took care of us. Her laughter kept us laughing, her smile kept us smiling, and her love for what she does poured out like sweet tea on a hot day. The world needs more people like her, because she reminded us that service can be more than just food, it can be a refreshing, soul filling experience. And the food? Absolutely amazing. Not only did we have seafood, but some of us went for the buffet, the kiddos got their grilled cheese, and the burgers were downright delicious. Plates of goodness that made us forget all about yesterday's turkey coma. To top it off, they had my favorite wine (hallelujah!) and beers for everyone else, which meant the whole table was happy. Eddie Mae's gave us more than lunch, it gave us a memory. A funny, touching, belly filling memory that we'll be talking about for years. Five stars, no hesitation.
