The food is very inconsistent. The wings could be plump, juicy, decently large or can be small, shriveled and dried up. I've enjoyed their fried catfish fillets but have also seen customers complain they were fried for too long and became hard. The fried tenders are usually very good and their chicken bites are tossed in their homemade sauces. They are amazing if they haven't been sitting out for too long. The staff is collectively very inexperienced and doesn't know how to go about accommodating customer's complaints. The environment is very friendly and welcoming. read more

I used to love Jim Bobs, however at 86 years old I have had fish the last two Fridays and couldn't eat them. They were so hard and over cooked I had to give the fish to my dog! I sent my son over again to get fish for me, hoping that another cook was on duty, however I got the same thing! You could actually hear the fish hit my kitchen floor as I fed it to my dog! My daughter in law couldn't bite them either, it was too hard. I hope they get a cook that can once again cook fish the way they used to. read more

Delicious dinner experience. Diner was clean and nice, family friendly and we're impressed by portions & price. We had 2 nugg meals (lg. portion) came w/toast & fries, a lemon pie, cheese sticks & 2 waters for under $33. Loved the food, JESUS & decor. Thank you! We will be back! Keep sharing Jesus and glad to see the young people working and being polite. read more

We skipped over Zaxby's at the exit to try a local place. The saucy nugs, wings, and chicken tenders were good. The fries were completely inedible. I watched every person in the restaurant throw away a heaping plate of fries. They tasted like grease and were translucent they were so greasy. The food came up super fast so I'm wondering if they were pre-fried and popped back in hot grease before serving. After paying $15 for tenders and fries I would at least like to be able to eat the fries. Everyone working was friendly and the restaurant was clean. We spent $43 dollar on two adult meals, two drinks and a kids meal. read more

Came here after a soccer tournament and it was great! Laid back and relaxing atmosphere. We got wings, fingers and a burger. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Their sauce was YUMMY! Best finish was the lemon pie! Highly recommend if you're looking for a local chicken place to grab a bite. read more

Great food, decent prices, and we keep coming back for more. Our kids love their chicken fingers. We also liked their shrimp options. Their wings are a hit as well. We have enjoyed everything we've ordered here and it's become a regular staple at our house. Give them a try and support local businesses! read more

The atmosphere was very diner but it was mostly clean inside which I can appreciate. The employees seemed like HS girls which is great seeing the local community employees and they did their job very well. The food, the wing sauce was good enough I got spicy and it is not too hot just very generic. My complaint was the size of the wings!!! I have never seen chicken this small before it had to of been game Hen ! I posted a picture but it really does not show you just how very small the chicken is. The fries were good, the bread was only slightly toasted on one side so not a fan of that... the prices are fair if only the wings were not tiny! My son said the chicken fingers were very good and a better size. My daughter really enjoyed their teriyaki sauce but again the chicken was just so darn small!! Great place to come and hang out but maybe go boneless unless you're not very hungry! read more

Food and service were excellent. I love the laidback atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful

While the chicken fingers are great , have to stay away from the battered fried stuff so I get hot wings , for whatever reason yes wings have gotten expensive and that being the case it is not to much to consider a decent sized hot wing. I literally have gotten wings here small than a chicken nugget , drumsticks not even as large as your wife's thumb. They should really either discard these or not count them towards your meal count. If profits are that tight then figure your cost per lb. Place your needed margin on this and then just sell them per lb. It's a win win. read more

It is a very unassuming location across from the big cemetery in LaGrange. It has a drive through, but I parked my car and walked inside for a takeout order. I ordered the spinach salad, a fried chicken sandwich, a fried Chicken tender platter, and a fried shrimp platter to-go. The staff took my order at the counter. They were friendly. It was fairly busy at 1:00 on a weekday. It took about 10 minutes for me to get the food and walk out. I was pleased that I did not have to wait very long, considering how busy they were. The ambiance was casual fast food--nothing fancy or modern, but clean. I ate the fried shrimp, spinach salad, coleslaw, and a few fries. (My mother and I split the shrimp platter and the salad--I'm not a pig!! . The fried shrimp were wonderful, the spinach salad was wonderful, and the salad dressing was a good name brand in a packet. The slaw was crispy and tasty. The French fries were meh. They were crinkly cut fries that one can purchase frozen at the grocery store. Also the fries were not as hot as the other fried foods, so maybe they had been hanging out in the frier basket for a while in the kitchen. My friends had the fried chicken sandwich and the chicken tender platter. They both demolished their food. The only leftovers were the French fries, but no one wanted to save them. I was delighted with this establishment. I will eat there again, but I will probably not order the French fries. read more

Food was fast. But one sandwich,6 piece wings and a 12 piece boneless wing was 55$ Then found hair stuck to my wing. read more

Great hot and fresh food. Catfish was delicious as well as wings. Minimal wait for hot food !! Will continue to visit and tell others.

Great experience! The place was good, had a nice variety of food despite the name being "chicken fingers." Everyone working very incredibly respectful and polite. Would definitely recommend. It's a great family place and had Dilt specials. read more

Do not eat here. They screw up To Go orders EVERY.SINGLE.TIME!!!!!!! When you pay $50 for 2 meals and extra sauces, you expect them to be in there. I have called and complained, notified owner in past, etc. It still continues!!!! They obviously have NO process!!! Whoever hand the food to the consumer should be double checking the entire order! It is NOT the customers responsibility!!!! It's pathetic they've gotten it WRONG 10 out of 10 time, and I stupidly kept giving them chances. NEVER AGAIN! This place is run by KIDS at night!!!!! If getting your order correct and extra condiments THAT YOU PAID for is important to you.....KEEP DRIVING!!!! I am LIVID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 10 out of 10 would NOT recommend this restaurant!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Consistently good food and friendly service. Best chicken fingers and lemon pepper wings in town.

I love JimBobs. I have eaten at the auburn, Opelika, and Columbus locations for years, and i have never been let down. I was very disappointed in the Lagrange location. Everything was over salted to the point that we could not eat it, the chicken was over cooked, the fries were soggy, and one of the mozzarella sticks looked like it far been "taste-tested". So disappointed... especially knowing how great JimBob's food is typically. read more

Great spot in LaGrange! Chicken tenders are very good, reminded me of Zaxby's, only better. Also had the special of the day which was a catfish snack. Great value & plenty of food for $8.80. The catfish (3 fillets) was very good, nice portion of crinkle fries & topped off with a great jalapeño cornbread muffin. I will go back if I am in LaGrange again! read more

Very good place to eat good food good service good people all the way around. Good place to eat

I called the restaurant to ask if they delivered bc I was trying to have food delivered to my adult brother with autism. the person I spoke with at the restaurant gave me a list of 3 3rd party apps they deliver through. I picked one and placed my $42 order. my money was instantly taken but the food was never received. when I called back and asked why the restaurant said oh we only use the app you chose for pickup, not delivery. they refused to refund or remake the order even though I asked beforehand how to get it delivered. both the app and this restaurant refused to salvage the issue read more

5 stars all day for Jim Bob's. I've been her a few times and my experience is the same: Excellent. As soon as you walk in the daily specials are written on a chalkboard, giving you a nice hometown feel. The menu is pretty extensive but everything is detailed. I'm not a fan of cornbread but Jim Bob's is excellent. I've had wings and the catfish and you really can't go wrk g with either. Most importantly for the amount of food you get, it's affordable! Every time I come home to LaGrange, GA I visit Jim Bob's. read more

Sigh.... I want to give them five stars, but that would not be truthful. Jim Bobs can be hit or miss, you just never know. One visit you may get hands down the best wings and freshest salad you've ever had, the next its dried-up wings and brown lettuce with slimy cucumbers on the salad. One visit you get the nicest helpful staff, and the next one is rude teenagers with serious attitude. Friends of ours have had scary allergy issues with their son there even after letting the staff know ahead of time, this has happened so many times they finally just stopped going, especially after the last time when they nicely but firmly let the young manager know of how dangerous food allergies are. After spending literally thousands of dollars there over the years (catering included) I wish I knew how we could predict what kind of day they are having ahead of time. Our last large take out order, the wings were so hard and overcooked that we ended up throwing most of them away, 100 wings! The owner is a super awesome guy, I really hope he reads the reviews and takes them to heart. read more

I ordered $70.00 worth of food and the service was terrible. They forgot items and when I went back through the drive thru to get what I paid for, I had 4 people giving me dirty looks, no apology for forgetting my items, the lady tossed the bag at me and then slammed the drive thru window shut like I was an inconvenience for her and their crew. They were overall rude. The fact that my family is trying to help out small businesses right now especially with the Pandemic, you would think I would be treated with an inkling of respect. read more

Absolutely loved everything. Staying at the Great wolf lodge we wanted something different. This place was perfect. My wife had the super salad, I had the chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich, and the kids had the chicken fingers and southwest wrap. Everyone said the fries were amazing, and the chicken was perfect, seasoned and fried to perfection. The staff was friendly and there is plenty of parking and seats. It's places like this that I love to see while on vacation. Definitely plan a meal here if you are at the lodge. read more

I'm town visiting GWL. Great option outside of the enclosed chlorine bubble that we have been stuck at all day. Staff was really nice and helpful. Chicken fingers reminded me of Zaxbys. ‼‼‼Y'all better check your bag 100% of the time BEFORE you pull away from the drive they window and drive 40 min home, just to realize they have left out ALL condiments for fish and fries after you specifically asked for them!!!!!!!!
