Ordered the burger and it was fantastic and too much to eat in one sitting. One son got tenders in wing sauce and he said they were great and wants to go back. Others got subs and wife got a burger, not one person had a complaint. Pretty sure the owner was the person to bring our food to the table and he was super nice. This is by far the best sandwich shoppe in West Georgia. The ingredients are fresh and the sandwiches are always "made to order." My "go to" is the seafood sub on white, toasted with peppers. My bride usually has the steak and mushroom. Things to know: 1. Don't talk on your cell phone while your in line to order... 2. Keep your kids under control while in line/eating. 3. Know what you want BEFORE getting to the register. 4. Order the "skin on's" with a side of ranch dressing! The owners are great people but at times a little ornery. Was a fan of the "old" Fatdaddys. Decided to try it now that its under new ownership. Didn't like that I can't order the flats, (can't order flats vs drums....they mix beforehand and won't change them). Flavor was ok, but not great. Not enough sauce on the wings. A great place for lunch if you're in the area. Best sandwiches around! Not many southern places adds Italian dressing and hot peppers to their sub sandwiches and they both are really delicious additions. So many bad reviews of this place are saying that the owners are not very friendly. I assure you this hasn't been the case every time I've gone. Even though they are from the north they are always very friendly and accommodating. Just don't use your cell phone in line or be disrespectful in general! read more

Fat Daddy's is always on point. Only local owned spot I can remember being open since I moved to LaGrange in 2003. Most of the negative reviews involve salty customers who can't bother to be decent people when they go out to eat. Support a locally owned business. read more

Went in a couple weeks ago with some family from out of town..excited to share with them the awesome sandwiches of Fatdaddys...been trying to stay hydrated so I walked in with a half full bottle of water since I've been keeping one permanently attached to my hand. Well that was where I went wrong. I went to order and I was promptly told that outside food is not allowed, does that change my mind about eating here? I said huh? Oh the water? Well I will order another bottle of water from you. She did not acknowledge what I said and continued to repeat herself. I know it's a rough time right now with covid 19 and all but the costumer service wasn't pleasant at all. I call the restaurant to read my order out and the old guy gives me rude comments about wasting his time when I have simple order. Then he comes to my window with rudeness and snatches my debit card. I've been there several times and tried several different things because I keep hearing how "great" the food is even though the workers are rude and dirty looking, and I'm disappointed every single time.
