We got it with everything seasoning and that was a little too salty for us but we scraped some of it off and it was fine. I came in for a post dinner sweet treat to go and selected the strawberry sheet cake. It wasn't busy when I went in so service was quick. The cake was moist & had great strawberry flavor. If you like strawberry cake this is a great choice. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The cafe was nice on the inside but it felt as though the atmosphere was for show and not for comfort.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The chairs and the benches were hard to sit on and uncomfortable to try to even have a seat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the Carmelitas and they were bomb. I had it heated with whipped cream on the side and it was gooey deliciousness. I also ordered the chicken and Waffles(12 dollars). The waffle was good it was like it was coated in glaze and had sugar crumbles on the edges which I thought was innovative. The chicken tasted like what you get from Publix which wasn't bad. However, one of the chicken was cold in the middle which was a letdown and somewhat gross. The bottle OJ they serve is Tropicana which says on the bottle not the same ingredients as other orange juice which I thought was strange so I didn't finish. Delicious cup of drip coffee at a great price. Super friendly baristas and a nice ambiance. Was on a diet but their desserts look awesome, especially the blondie. They have breakfast, sandwiches, chicken salad, and beer as well. Awesome cafe, will definitely stop by whenever I'm in town! read more

I stopped in one morning to this café because it was on my way to work. Coffee was excellent, but the service was interminably slow, causing me to be late to work. Although Starbucks is out of my way and the quality is not as good, I can order via the mobile app and I am in and out and still make it to work in time. We had a spare half hour right after lunch in downtown LaGrange before a museum opened. We were walking around checking out the businesses. We happened across this place at the right time. They had a temporary sign out front listing today's dessert offerings, so we decided to have dessert for a change. They have about 4 tables out on the sidewalk but these were full. We entered (which you have to do regardless to place your order ar the counter). There was a short line of customers, mostly due to one large party that was slow in ordering. Once that finished, the line moved quickly. We got a chocolate esspresso cake to split. They had a small selection of different desserts displayed; it appears to rotate on a daily basis. They also advertised beer / wine and a few cocktails, but we skipped those. They have another 5 - 6 tables inside, plus a high-top counter against one wall. We found a table and enjoyed the cake. It was super-rich / sweet, but tasty. As for parking, we had parked in the large (free) public deck a couple of blocks away before starting our stroll. There is street parking closer though. This is a great option if you have a dessert craving while in LaGrange. read more

I don't know about their food or their service their ambiance is questionable. We went there about 4:30 PM and no one was in the store, which was just fine, but it never occurred to me that in 2023 in a town as progressive as LaGrange there would be a restaurant that is not handicapped accessible. But yep! There is one. As I held the door open and smelled the yummy, he tried several times and ways to propel his motorized transport over the 2" blockage at the door sill. No one spoke the staff just stood there with their mouths hanging open like the circus was in town. If the manager reads this and the staff goes "What?" then you know what kind of staff you have. read more

I've been here twice now and each time the baked goods have been very disappointing. Both times they didn't have much flavor and the brownie I had today was so hard I could barely get a plastic fork in it. It felt stale, too sweet and lacking flavor. If you're going to be a dessert cafe, certainly more imagination and baking skill is required. read more
