Delicious. However, no handicap parking so it was a struggle with elderly parent. Waitstaff very friendly. Once we entered they seated us at a sturdy table and even brought a very sturdy chair. We visited this place on a whim. Glad we did. It was a little less than an hour before their closing so we knew we were going to be as quick as possible so as to not keep them. We got there and the atmosphere wasn't what we expected. Part cafe, part art house, but the art was really nice. Loved the cow paintings and the "life sized" painting of the owner was odd in theory, but actually a really cool piece and I thought it was great. I ordered Jager schnitzel with white cheddar grits and skillet cabbage. The mushroom gravy was really good. Not overly salty and the sherry came out to give it the flavor without overpowering it. The meat was just right. The cheddar grits were awesome. The perfect ratio to get a little stringing, but not gummy. I did add a little salt to mine, but I have that high BP palate. The skillet cabbage was way more yum than it should have been!! I'm assuming friend in bacon fat, it also had chunks of bacon in it. The points of char were perfect. The cabbage softened without getting mushy. I could have eaten a big old bowl of that stuff. Wife got the Fried and Confused. She wasn't exactly sure what she was expecting, but she said the flavors were fantastic. The sweet and savory together blended very well. Her only complaint she admits was a personal preference one, not a quality one. For her the two pieces of French toast (both thick, "Texas toast" sized slices) were too dense, so she took the top one off and ate it "open faced". The kid ordered the spicey chicken sandwich and in that late-teen way said "yeah, it's good." But that's all you're getting out of him. It looked great, I did nibble the sauce and liked it. Nothing unique about it, but a good entry to the spicey sauce category. The ladies were so sweet. They took care of us well and chatted when we asked questions and conversed with them. First off, this place has amazing food. Everything on the menu looked SO good! We stopped in on a Thursday around noon. It was fairly busy and there were only two waitresses. The service was fairly slow but they were doing their best. Everything came out HOT and was delicious! Their chicken is hand breaded and their ranch and blue cheese is homemade and SO good! I highly recommended this as a stop if you are in the mood for amazing food, but have the time to be somewhat patient. (There was a large 12-15 person party that I think may have slowed down the kitchen so I'm not sure that it's always this slow). This will definitely be a go to for me when I'm in Columbus and I am looking forward to trying other things on the menu! read more

Toasted has a wide menu from breakfast to dinner. My personal favorites are the veggie omelette with home fries and crispy bacon. Everything is perfectly prepared and tastes awesome. Also for lunch or dinner I love the holy cluck sandwich. It's a chicken sandwich with a slightly spicy sauce. Not hot honey but just as good. Always prepared perfectly. Their fries are always hot and crispy with soft centers. Service is second to none. I highly recommend Toasted to anyone looking for the perfect relaxing experience. read more

TOASTED was heavenly! Not a bite left! I got the Monkey Jam French toast w/ side of grits (I added shrimp). My husband had the Van G.O.A.T w/grits. I don't know how toast can become noteworthy, but... that sourdough is perfection!!!! The sauce on my French toast was incredible! Every bite was amazing. My only con is that the grits could use a little more seasoning.. but after adding some salt & pepper, they were great! I will definitely be back! So many other things I can't wait to try! read more

Delicious! We had the creole fries, biscuit beignets, and the shrimp & grits - all of it was fantastic and so filling. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We came at dinner time and asked if they could still do breakfast; they said yes but they couldn't do any of the breakfast meals that had biscuits. It's a very mom & pop style place - truly adorable. Highly recommend looking at the picture on the wall behind the register, it's hilarious! We'll absolutely come back here next time we're in Georgia. read more

Sunday morning, late breakfast. The wait was long, but absolutely worth the 25 min in the crowded foyer. I got the simple 2-egg breakfast with grits and biscuit. Husband got the whole pig omelet with fruit and sourdough toast. We drank unsweetened tea. (Unsweetened tea can be iffy in the south, but this was some good tea.) The staff were cheerful and welcoming. At a particularly crowded moment the chef did a walkthrough in the dining room and greeted guests. Nice touch. The food was good. I highly recommend the grits. I think I'm a grits snob because I make the best grits and I would be proud to put Toasted's grits on my family table. Creamy, hot, perfect. The omelette was huge, full of all the pork breakfast options. We did not get the biscuit beignet, and saw them at many tables for sharing and dipping. If you want an appetizer before you break your fast, try the biscuit beignet. Ambience: the dining room is small, homey, not fancy. All 4-tops, no booths. A couple spots at the bar. read more

I didn't know there was two shortage menus so when I arrived I couldn't figure out why I didn't see anything on the menu that I saw other people raving about. I realized then that the menu changes from breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not a big deal because I got there a little after 9am so I was definitely expecting something for breakfast. Fried Grit Fritters- 8/10. This was highly recommended by frequent visitors. It came out looking different than what I saw online but it was good. The sausage gravy is also a great addition! The only thing I would've maybe done better would be to not have them as big and fried them a little harder for my liking. Creole Fries- 8/10. This had great flavor! Between the creole sauce, cheese, shrimp and crispiness of the fries. It just felt that the dish was missing something but I'm not sure what it was. I was also expecting a slight bit of heat since it used creole sauce but it didn't have any spice to it. Also, the shrimp could've been cooked just a few minutes longer. Overall, good dish. Service was 10/10. I was immediately greeted upon entry and my waitress checked on me periodically as well. I also like the option to scan the QR code on the receipt to pay. The restaurant itself was small but cozy. Nice set up the only odd part was a giant picture of the chef/owner hanging up on the wall by the door. It was like in a walk-in freezer waitress was very nice. Checked up on us often and our drinks never went empty. It was a good portion size or three big tenders the perfect layer of sauces to the correct French toast size go in with an empty stomach when you order this item, the white cheddar grits were less than to be desired Were very clumpy and had no flavor. The French dip was also less than the desired. There is nothing French dip about this except for the Ajou the meat was that of chopped beef like for a cheap version of a Philly cheesesteak and it tasted like older griddle really didn't have much flavor the french fries again perfect just a little salty the more you ate them, but overall love the french fries came with a little thing of ranch I asked for Ranch cream, this place serves crushed ice.
