I ordered the red velvet pancakes, eggs, and bacon. The pancake was not good but I loved the eggs and bacon. The service was ok, but the wait was long 25-30 minutes. They were unorganized and kept asking customers what did you order. I've eaten here before a while ago and it wasn't bad. The restaurant itself is clean and very welcoming. Stopped in to Dell's for lunch. We ordered wings, fish, shrimp, and the chicken Philly. The prices were fair, the serving sizes were appropriate and the seasoning on the fish was really good. The wings and chicken Philly were okay, but please don't order the shrimp. If you see this owner: please source better shrimp or take it off the menu. It's simply not restaurant quality. Otherwise, it's a cool spot for a quick lunch with friendly staff. read more

I can't do this post without drooling and smiling like a fool. This was the best breakfast we have ever eaten! The bacon had the perfect amount of crispiness and had this great slightly smoked flavor! HUGE, flavorful pancakes with that perfect slight crisp on the edges! Yall...the scrambled eggs with cheese?! They were INCREDIBLE! Who knew eggs could be so fantastic? You could tell it was definitely real egg and they were cooked just the way my Nanny used to make them! My hubby had the French toast meal and that was incredible too. *IMPORTANT* You MUST order the croissant sandwich! It wasn't on the menu but I had read about it in reviews, so I knew to ask for it. We had sausage patty, egg and cheese on it. The sandwich had some kind of honey butter sauce. Omg it was just so fabulous! Yall! My husband and I were literally making yum noises the whole time!! That's just the food so far. I haven't even began to talk about the friendly, welcoming, and attentive service we received! We were greeted instantly when we walked in by who appeared to be the owner. He walked out menus to us and directed us to the front counter. The man who took our order was also super friendly and personable. The food came out quickly and they checked on us the perfect amount of times as we ate. The atmosphere felt like one of those "down home" restaurants where everyone knows everyone. We just loved it. From entrance to exit we loved it! We can't wait to come back!!! read more

Everything looked like it had been sitting out all day & dried up. One of the workers was also more focused on trying to get my number than to serve me which was very uncomfortable. Overall it has potential but the creepy flirting will keep me from ever returning. read more

This restaurant is absolutely trash, I got hot wings and shrimp. The wings were tiny, flavorless only seasoning you could taste was the salt. The sauce was extremely bland and not spicy at all. The shrimp were fried baby shrimp, a thick soggy batter on them. The shrimp was also very salty and poorly seasoned. So glad we made it to Dell's for lunch. I've heard wonderful things about the breakfast and want to try that soon. The scramble dog was huge and a little overwhelming to get started with, but very good and could probably feed 2-3 people. Fries were very good: hot, crispy and nicely seasoned. The Philly sandwiches were good but the buns were a little over-buttered and the chicken had a lot of sauce on it (got it on the side the 2nd trip a week later) but the flavor was very good and the portions were ample. The food was so good. I was trying to find a good breakfast place in the Columbus area that wasn't a chain and came across this place. The owner was nice and attentive even when multiple DoorDash orders were coming through. Had an omelette that was very good. Will be coming again! read more

O - M - G! We came into town for my son's graduation at Fort Benning. This was our first meal in the area. Chili dogs are great! He had the sausage dog and chili fries, equally tasty. We just had breakfast - I had the Big Breakfast - my favorite meal ever - and they did it well. Then a few sausage biscuits - the reviews for those were very good, and then an order of shrimp and grits. Everyone was happy with their meals. For a diner, they do it with class. We're probably going to eat here again before we leave. The person taking the orders over the phone was great as well. Then when the orders were picked up, they showed the food to make sure we were happy with it before we left. Top notch! read more

Went to Dell's Food this morning... It was phenomenal!!! I think it will become a regular addition to our week! We made the "mistake" of ordering several things to make sure we tried enough variety. Go ahead and commit to one meal, it's so good you'll be back to try the rest! Make sure to start with the croissant breakfast sandwich. It wasn't on the menu but my wife had heard tales of its goodness. If I ever have to choose a last meal, I promise that will be on the list! The food was delicious and affordable. I got the omelette. It was nicely seasoned with black pepper (I'm guessing, didn't see it) and while it was salted, it wasn't over salted like some places, which I really appreciate. It was a bit oily, but I am okay with that, some folks may not be, but I suspect they'd use less oil if you asked. I asked for no onions and hey, they actually didn't put onions in it. That puts it as better than well over half the restaurants out there. The music was a bit loud and I asked if they might be able to turn it down. Some places will only turn it down such a small amount that it pretty much changes nothing, but they actually turned it down more than enough that it was perfect. Good music mind you, I just am one of those folks with sensitive ears I guess, it's an issue at more than a few places, but I'm just happy they turned it down more than a little. If I lived nearby, I'd come here all the time. As it is, I'll have to settle for coming by whenever I visit! read more

If I could give less than zero stars, I absolutely would. There is NO way this place is a 5 star restaurant. Someone lies and Yelp needs to screen their reviews and do some market research on Their own time. Please pay me to do this job!!! Dear LORD! Everything was wrong. Food was ordered and we waited over an hour only to be told they didn't have what we ordered. When we did get some food there was cheese in it which not supposed to be in the food and we are both intolerant of dairy. We were not offered or given utensils. The toast was not toasted. It is a gas station type restaurant but I have eaten some of the best food in my lifetime in places such as this so that is no excuse. There was no sense of order or urgency to anything. And we were one of only three people in the place...never again! And you shouldn't either. Absolutely horrible!!!! McDonald's is far superior. read more

I have ordered food from Dell's three times and let me tell you each time the food is delicious! This is the second time I get the French toast platter and it's soo good! Everything is well seasoned and cooked! I've also had the nachos from here and they are good. The meat is a little sweet but everything went well together. The location might look a little sketchy at first but the restaurant itself is clean and well kept. Would definitely recommend! read more
