Late Sunday Brunch (1:30) - The perfect taste and texture of the Corn and Miso Croissant made up for the horribly unimpressive Ham and Cheese French toast. Unfortunately, the soft serve ice creams were not available yet. Service was friendly, though It would help the guests to understand drinks need to be self serviced at the counter. read more

Cute little spot and easy to find! Service was great, and we stopped by for a quick grab-and-go before heading out for the day. The matcha was tasty, but it didn't necessarily have that "wow" factor for me. Still, I enjoyed it and had a pleasant experience overall. Would I come back? Yes! I'd definitely stop by again and try something else on the menu read more

**to-go order only** Skip sesame latte-- flavors didn't really complement each other well, drink also turned lukewarm (I dined outside, so unsure if there was enough ice cubes? Or maybe it was the weather?) Menu is a bit pricey but gotta support the locals haha the dry ramen.. was pretty salty though lol but the katsu sando was pretty good read more

I visited Momo Cafe for the Milani x Shelby Ann pop-up event. I got to meet Shelby Ann, and she was such a sweetheart! I ordered matcha with the banana cloud and substituted the milk for oat milk. The line was pretty long because of the event, which was expected, but once I placed my order, my drink came out really quickly! My drink was really good and wasn't overly sweet, which I appreciated. I do wish the banana flavor was a little stronger because it was pretty subtle. I personally wasn't a huge fan of the crunchy topping either, but that's just my preference. Overall, I really enjoyed my drink and had such a fun experience at the pop-up event. I'd definitely come back and try more of their drinks and pastries! read more

Coffee area is really small but they do have alot of seating elsewhere in the building. Service was fast I didn't wait very long for my order. My brown sugar latte was really good but the star of the show was the crème brulee croissant 10/10 was soooo good. Parking can be tricky if nothing is available in front of the building but there is a parking garage. read more

Such a cozy little gem! First off -- they validate parking if you park in the garage, which is a major plus. The ladies behind the counter were very pleasant (as they always are, never have had bad service here) I ordered a hot matcha latte with oat milk (10/10!) and a caramelized onion & gruyère croissant, which hit the perfect sweet-and-savory balance. The space has free Wi-Fi and a calm atmosphere, making it a great spot to post up and get some work done. Definitely adding this to my regular coffee shop rotation. read more

Spacious cafe and restaurant in midtown. Only tried the pastries and they were just OK overall. Pretty disappointed in the service on a Friday afternoon - we ordered a blueberry matcha croissant and for the second, we asked for a rec but instead the staff just listed off what they had which we were aware of without answering our question. We settled on the matcha cookie. The croissant came out pretty quick but our cookie took forever - waited 20 minutes when we literally saw cookies right there. After checking in with someone they checked in with the person helping us and they said they left it in the oven to be warmed and forgot about it in a rude way. We had limited time for parking so after getting the cookie we quickly ate our treats and left. The croissant wasn't very buttery and felt a little stale. The matcha cream was good though. The cookie was better - thick and chewy. Not worth returning for unfortunately - maybe we came at a bad time. read more

I had heard a lot of good things about this place - so last weekend, we tried this lil cafe. We walked in around 11 and it wasn't too busy. We ordered a creme brulee croissant and a matcha soft serve. The matcha soft serve - in the first impression, looked glorious (but tiny in portion). It tasted really good! The matcha to sweetness ratio was perfect. Also- after trying it, I realized that the portions were perfect. Unlike a traditional soft serve, this one was rich. The creme brulee croissant was a nice surprise - it combined the two things extremely well. The items are a lil pricey (or maybe pricey has become the new normal). We paid $8-$9 each for both. read more

Momo has both a café with pastries and coffee and a restaurant with food. Staff were welcoming and willing to answer questions. The pastries looked amazing and seemed to be made fresh- but I wasn't super in love with the sesame almond croissant I bought. Would be interested to try other options! My bowl was pretty good, light and healthy, but it did take 30 minutes to make!! I added chicken and it cost $20, which I found to be on the pricey side. There is plenty of seating inside, upstairs, and outside. read more

Order the banana cloud matcha latte! You don't regret it. It had great matcha flavor but was not overly sweet. The staff was great with giving recommendations if you wanted matcha or espresso. the pastries aren't as high quality as other bakeries (more bready than flaky/ laminated), but the flavors are good. I tried the pumpkin black sesame croissant ($9) and loved the creams. Had a work event down here early and stopped by here to kill some time. I'm glad I did because this place is quaint and the barista was really friendly. I got the iced coffee with some skim milk and the roast of it is amazing. I was a bit hungry and they had a nice selection of pastries so went with an egg tart which was a great choice. It came warm with a flaky crust. Paired with the pillowy soft custard filling, that was the perfect amount of sweet, made the morning so much better. If you are in this area for sure stop by, the prices are fair and the quality is good. read more

This is a really cute cafe in midtown close to Georgia Tech. The drinks are on the pricier side, and I got the hot matcha, which was not very good. I wanted it served in a mug but it was served in a takeaway cup, and I could tell by tasting that the matcha was not that high quality. I have gotten their iced matcha drinks before, and I remembered that tasting good because it was sweet, so if you do come here, I would recommend you to go for the sweetened iced matcha drinks for matcha. read more

Adore, have loved this place since I first moved to ATL! So creative how Momo uses classic Taiwanese flavors (like black sesame!!!) in their pastries and drinks. They have a ton of tea options and all of their espresso based bevs sounded so good too. The baristas are always super speedy and helpful, even when it's busy. Upstairs seating is limited unfortunately, but they let you sit in the restaurant area too, so there's almost always a spot somewhere. read more

I really like this place. It is next door to Momonoki. I think you can sit in the outdoor space or the upstairs lounge area. I prefer the upstairs. It's teeny tiny so it can be difficult to snag a spot amongst all the college students that hang out there. It overlooks the interstate which doesn't seem relaxing but oddly it is. Maybe it's bc you're far away enough that you can't hear the traffic. And, you're not sitting in the traffic! Anyway, the real reason to go to Momo Cafe is - the heavenly drinks and yummy desserts. The staff are friendly and helpful and will steer you in the right direction if you have questions. For instance does a matcha latte pair well with a pumpkin soft serve. The answer is yes!! P.S. they validate parking in the garage next door. read more

This is my GO TO place for comfort food in midtown! The Japanese inspired environment often brings you calm and it is also a good place for work and chat. The second floor window coaches are so comfy with amazing views. Salmon Chazuke: A full bowl of fried salmon, poached eggs, soup with rice with balanced saltiness! My Favorites Sichuan Beef Mazemen: if you like brothless noodle, try this!! Spicy but very tasty! Black Sesame Latte: Their signature flavor. If you want more sesame flavor, try the hot one! Matcha Lemonade: A perfect refreshing drink during summer time! Their matcha is great! And I like to grab their unique flavored croissants before I leave. The Black Sesame one is soooo good! They have different flavors every day! read more

Not real matcha. They just use some syrup or pre made matcha out of a ketchup bottle hey pour on the milk. What a disappointment

I love this place as an Asian cafe with unique flavors that I haven't had for a while. Momo Cafe is located on top of Mononoki, its restaurant counterpart owned by the same person. There is paid street parking right out front, but the garage deck next to it provides 2 hours validated parking. Upstairs, there's even a water glass station, The seating area could be more decorated. It looked a little lackluster and plain. Before the restaurant opened, the only seating that was open was the upstairs cafe area which had 4 circle wooden tables and three ish wooden chairs that faced the window. It's a pretty small area tbh. There's about one outlet between two circle tables. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of space. When the restaurant opened, there was so much more seating, but a lot of people come here to study. There's some outdoor seating under a tent if the building space gets too packed. I got a strawberry matcha latte, and it is as good as the hype was. It was made from real strawberry puree and tasted fresh and sweet. The chocolate yuzu croissant was delicious and flaky. read more

Little nook cafe snuggled inside their larger restaurant. I got this yuzu/coffee soda. A quaint little cafe filled with college students studying. It's a quiet spot, with bright lights. The staff were super friendly and helpful. She let us store our luggage in the storage room while we ate. The Japanese style of foods was super delicious. Sometimes it is difficult to find Japanese cafes, so we were so excited. The ramen was super flavorful, and the boiled eggs with it were delicious. The katsu sando was soooooo good, the Mayo sauce with the crunch of the katsu really brings it all together. The shiitake mushroom nuggets were delectable, with a yummy sauce. The shredded cabbage was even yummy. The Hojicha latte had a wonderful roasted flavor, it was truly amazing. Overall, a super refreshing meal that felt clean and delicious. A good spot if you need to study, get a coffee/tea, or have a fresh meal. read more

Someone asked me had I been here before and I hadn't, so I took a look at their IG page. I immediately put them on my list to try. Well recently they announced a Sweet Potato dessert and I was super intrigued. So on a Sunday afternoon I headed that way. This a two story building that features a ramen place and a bakery. It was pretty busy for a Sunday, but that's to be expected because it's near Ga Tech's campus. I got in the bakery line and ordered the strawberry croissant and attempted to order the Sweet Potato croissant, but was met with the "We are all sold out of the Sweet Potato!" Bummer. The barista tried to make some suggestions, but I came specifically for that. No one cares about Sweet Potato, like they do pumpkin spice, so I was so excited when they shared this. I was disappointed, but I took my strawberry croissant and sat at a table. The cafe is very casual and busy. The vibe is very chill. A random waiter came and offered me a water to have with my croissant. The croissant was flaky, buttery and the cream was not too sweet. May need to get it heated up next time. I would come back here, as the ramen seems to be a hit. read more

So good we ate here TWICE in one weekend. You could said we wanted mo mo ;) Okay... I'm done. A cute lil two-story cafe with both sweet & savory treats! I'm a big fan of Japanese-inspired anything including matcha drinks & desserts so this place was such a hit for me. Of course I got a matcha latte and my best friend tried out their Black Sesame latte. Both were great to warm us up on a chilly day. A great place to study or hang out! They have plenty of tables and delicious drinks. The only things to note for studying is that their WiFi gets overwhelmed if there's too many people connected, and they don't have too many outlets. So make sure you go prepare with devices charged (and a hotspot as backup). I tried the matcha latte and matcha soft serve. I liked the matcha latte--there was good matcha flavor and it was nice and toasty. The matcha soft serve was alright IMO--the texture was a bit different from expected and the matcha flavor didn't come out as strongly. Went on a Friday night and it was pretty quiet. Service was great! We primarily came here for the matcha soft serve but grabbed a few matcha drinks as well. Their soft serve menu is a lot smaller than what we saw on Yelp (Mango, Matcha, Swirl, and another option I can't remember at the moment). Soft serve tasted amazing! While the portion seemed small at first, it was actually perfect. I ended up getting full. Highly recommend! There was plenty of seating and it was a super chill environment. read more

The creme brûlée croissant was SO PRETTY. it's another popular item and I get why. Flaky and sweet. The creme was SO GOOD!! I recommend this spot. Momo is the perfect balance between a restaurant and cafe. There's plenty of bakery offering along with a savory menu, including ramen. It's convenient and quick for takeout as well.
