I came here on a Saturday morning for breakfast around 9am and we opened this place up. We parked on the street nearby with ease and it was my first time, so the place was hard to find as it is in a shopping center and has entrances on both sides of the building. We walked around back. Our server was good about giving us time to catch up and we took time to order. There were a lot of good options on the menu ranging from both traditional American breakfast to Mexican dishes. Came here on a Sunday morning (9am, forgot I couldn't order alcohol til 11, good old Bible Belt). Seat indicating to seat yourself so I did. I was looking for somewhere in the downtown vicinity and found ADios cafe tucked away in an area where I wouldn't have expected to find a place like it. I'm giving this a 4 for ambiance and service. Food alone would be a 2. The cafe is in front of the Artisan market so it's a feast for the eyes! There are fine samples of Mexican avert everywhere. There is a beautiful patio right outside but it was too hot (visited in June) and there was not even a fan blowing. We tried the cuatro leches which sounded delicious but was disappointingly dry. The cafe de olla was also a disappointment as it tasted like drip coffee with powdered hot cocoa. There was none of the rich cinnamon and pilonicillo taste. Came here for Saturday brunch. It was a little hard finding the place because there is no sign outside that says adios cafe, but it's actually inside of No Mas. So for brunch, they sit you on the patio, but you can still have regular breakfast inside. The menu was pretty simple. Variations of omelettes and a few sweeter options. They give you chips and salsa at the tables which was great and tasted fresh. It also held us over until our food came. We both ordered this drink called the conga. It was pineapple rum and strawberries and other fruits. It's a frozen drink but not one of those crunchy ice drinks l, this one was more frothy and almost a smoothie texture which I liked. I personally don't like crunchy ice frozen drinks. It's very delicious and sweet but you still get a nice kick of rum at the end. My drink however took a while for me to get. I didn't receive mines till I was halfway done with my meal and I ordered it before we received any food. For my meal I ordered the French toast. I've never had French toast like this before. It was basically French toast made with bread pudding bread and it was very flavorful and moist. The only gripe I had with it was there were some darker burnt parts that made it hard to enjoy. It must've been very fresh because it was so hot when they gave it to me. I had to wait a few minutes for it to cool down. I also ordered a side of back, which was your typical crispy applewood smoked bacon. Overall, the patio area is very nice and makes you feel like you may actually be in Mexico lol. Our server was very nice but she would kinda disappear for long periods of time which kinda made us not want to get more drinks because we didn't know how long it would take. I know Adios Café has been around for years, but I am truly beginning to appreciate how great of an addition it is to the neighborhood. I frequently go there for breakfast and I am finally writing a review. The interior is so vibrant with wonderful colors, lights, and art in the dining and bar areas as well as beautiful crafts and jewelry in the merchandise section. I usually order the Mayan Mocha to drink and it is a delicious combination of espresso, Mexican chocolate, and chile de arbol. Bria is usually my server and she is awesome! I seriously always try to sit in her section or request her when I go because her customer service is impeccable and her enthusiasm, patience, friendliness, and bright smile always enhance my dining experience there. Strange setup, but my pancakes were pretty darn good. The atmosphere was laid back but the scenery was amazing. It's covered in Hispanic culture so full of vibrant color and history.
