    Lavender Chai tea latte
    Mikki E.

We stumbled upon this cute coffee shop while enjoying our Saturday on the beltline. The service was pleasant and quick for such a busy Saturday. I tried the Lavender Chai with Oat milk and it was really good. The Chai alone seemed to be delicious and the Lavender soften the spices. I definitely want to go back to try their other seasonal drinks because I'm sure everything on their menu is delicious! The atmosphere was inviting and good for groups to just hang around and chat. I'm looking forward to my next daily dose of coffee goodness.

The location is everything! It's by the beltine, various restaurants, and even Publix. Perfect for a quick pit stop for coffee, to catch up with friends, or even get some work done. I ordered the blueberry latte with almond milk, but that's only on the summer menu. Their drinks are around $6, which isn't too bad. They do have limited seating, and I'd also check if the outlets are working (the ones near me weren't working). Service was great too; the cafe is also a bookstore, so perfect time to look around for little souvenirs or gifts!

4.4/5 I love love love it here! I come every once in a while after my walk to enjoy a matcha. They are pretty consistent with their drinks, and they always have fun new flavors to try. Service is friendly and quick, they also accommodate sweetness for those who like a lil extra. I enjoy their punch cards for rewards. Always look forward to my stop by here.

The drink was not blended well. I got different notes as it went on and some were extremely bitter. The service was quick. It was hard finding seating when you need space for a laptop. The parking is free in the garage and plentiful.

I got an iced maple brown sugar matcha latte! It was decent and sweet, but the matcha tasted somewhat powdery. The cafe is decorated in a modern way with bookshelves and merch to sell. Seasonal menu mainly featured pumpkin spice and maple brown sugar. There's only a handful of seating with outlets by the couches, but when I went, they weren't working. Next to it, there's a parking garage. They also have a punch card for reward system.

Spacious coffee shop that also has a large selection of coffee table books and art prints for sell! This is located right of the beltline so you can either walk to it or there's plenty of parking nearby.

Honestly just kind of conflicted about this place. The pros are that the coffee is really good, and they have a little specials menu with creative flavor pairings. It's also cute on the inside and the baristas are prompt. Definitely recommend the caramel latte and rose latte. However, I wouldn't return to complete work here or to sit down. We were immediately engulfed with flies when we sat down. They were constantly landing on our drinks and all of our study materials. It was super distracting and annoying (see pictures). They were even circling the other tables next to us and the wall decor. The seating is limited so we didn't have much of a choice to move. The outlet under the seat wouldn't work and the barista said that only one wall of outlets worked in the coffee shop. And then to top it off the WiFi doesn't work, and the secondary WiFi is very slow and barely functional (you have to also ask about this and get a password). There's some free street parking around, but no dedicated lot. I really love the coffee, just wish I could make this a dedicated work space :/ don't think I'll be making a special trip to come back unfortunately

Another one of my fave coffee shops! Love the vibe and atmosphere! Also ofc great coffee :) Just not a lot of plugs around if you are planning to sit and work here for a while.

Beautiful ambiance inside, cool comfy to sit inside on a hot day. Lots of folks reading or working. My macchiato was good & strong. my friend loved her honey vanilla oat milk latte. Lots of cute unique cards & little gifts. Staff were not friendly at all.

The handheld comes vegetarian with the option to add protein for an extra couple of dollars. The BLT comes on thick buttered toast, with the slightest hint of garlic and thick beefsteak tomato slices. I think it's really neat that they ensured whether we would want dairy or non-dairy in our chai lattes...kudos for that! Overall, we were full long before we finished our sammies & chai. It only takes a few minutes to clean an espresso machine. So dumb. Happy the Bellwood within Plants & Coffee is staying put! Much better attitude, service, and coffee. Joe's has seemingly become too cool for school. :(

While it may appear welcoming and well-run on the surface, that image quickly falls apart when you look at how things operate behind the scenes. I have personally witnessed how the owner, Rahel, treats employees, and it is deeply concerning. As many other reviews have noted, there is a consistent pattern of unprofessionalism, poor communication, and a dismissive, often hostile attitude toward staff. What's most troubling is the disconnect between the public-facing atmosphere and the internal reality. Customers may see a polished environment, but behind that façade are employees who feel uncomfortable being themselves, who are reprimanded unfairly, and who are neither properly valued nor treated with respect and dignity. A business is only as strong as the way it treats its people, and unfortunately, this establishment falls short in that regard. I would STRONGLY encourage others to take this into consideration before choosing to support it.
