My favorite coffee shop I visited in the city! The waitress was honest, funny, and friendly (we were celebrating good news and she was invested in our excitement). She even helped make recommendations based on what we like. I ordered the tonic (which is a dollar cheaper probably because it's slightly smaller, but for full price they offer a sweeter latte version). As a sweet drink connoisseur, I was surprised that I didn't even need the sweeter version, it was lovely as is! The drink is refreshing and fruit forward, with orange peel and a cherry in the drink. Was over in the highlands and came by for lunch. They have somewhat of a limited food menu as their menu emphasis is on drinks, but it did not disappoint. Right off the bat, the shop is adorable. The mint green counter is a statement, and the bright pink accents convey that this is a fun spot. The signage all had an illustrative style- this is not a stuffy place to be. I got the Crunchwrap at the recommendation of my friend and it was amazing. It's a large pocket of eggs, cheese, and hash browns all wrapped together. I opted to get it without the PERCsauce, which is a burger sauce, and did not find it to be dry at all. It was a very substantial portion and was the perfect brunch option. It's located on the shopping strip in the Virginia Highlands, and although limited, does have some seating inside. There are also a few tables outside. There is a bathroom available to paying customers. The parking is just the street parking of the area, and there also appeared to be a paid lot right next door. I was in the neighborhood and had heard great things about Perc so I stopped by. The staff were nice and the cafe wasn't too crowded for a Saturday morning. However the matcha was bad. It was clumpy, gritty, and slightly bitter. I also had a donut that looked better than it tasted. Incredible drink options that are always sure to be a hit! I'm a fan of their iced drinks and highly recommend one of their signature drinks. Went here just to grab a cocoa on a cold day. (I'm not a big coffee fan.) This was very small, but it was cute. I really like how it's decorated and they have tables inside and outside. (There's only one table outside though.) It took them incredibly quick to make my hot chocolate, and when I received it I found out that they put sprinkles on the top! All I need to say is: Cold Fashioned. When I went on the hunt to find the best coffee shops in Georgia, PERC immediately caught my eye. I am a cold coffee snob--I'll admit it. It's become somewhat of a competition for me to top and rarely will I want to visit a coffee shop unless they offer some sort of unique twist on a cold coffee beverage. So when I saw the "cold fashioned" I knew I had to try it. They prepare it just as you might imagine an old fashioned would be prepared complete with an orange twist and that delicious dark little cherry. The flavor of the coffee mixed with little bites of that cherry made me so very happy. They also made a savory waffle and for all savory breakfast lovers out there, it's a must try. The vibe was chill, the staff was friendly, and the decor was very cute too. Next time you're in GA you must add to PERC to your list of coffee shops to visit. read more

I came here a few weeks ago and really enjoyed my time. It is a really cool space, with fun colors and cool seating spaces. I got the Matcha Daze and it was SO good. I have never really had a drink like that before but I loved it! Like one sip is super sweet and yummy and the next has a bit of a kick and was also yummy. WOULD recommend. We stopped by Perc for coffee and breakfast after dropping someone off at the airport. There is plenty of street parking, which was nice. The staff who helped us was amazing. He was so friendly and helpful, and he offered us a taste of each coffee they had so we could decide which we wanted. We had the bagel sandwiches, which had a sauce on it that I did not care for, but I would have loved it without it. So I would recommend trying it with the sauce on the side. Not a lot of seating room so I wouldn't suggest this for working vibes but this location is great for grab-and-go coffee as you're walking around the neighborhood. I believe some of the other locations have more seating. There was some street parking but I parked (illegally) in the lot across and was able to run in and out since it wasn't too busy. Sunday early birds here. The two guys behind the counter really did a good job serving us good coffee. The vibe was lovely - gave us a friendly community coffee shop feel but also cool and fun. The presentation of our latte was great and it was severed at the perfect warm temperature, tasted not too sweet but got a bit complexity. The coffee flight was a good experience with a tasting form for you to write down your feel. The three coffees selected in this flight were all more on the floral and berry side. Came here on a Sunday AM and had some really great coffee. It was their mild variant which has quite the kick and will wake you up / taste delicious at the same time. The inside of the store is pretty cool with their brand everywhere on stickers/mugs/etc. Really like the vibes here. The donuts were amazing (provided by Hero Doughnuts which are the best in town in my opinion). There a was a bit of a line due to the newness of the coffee shop plus the weekend mid-afternoon NEED for caffeine. This is the southern version of the cutesy Japanese cafes. The colors are bright and whimsical. They have good light and several tables to work or chat with a friend. I think their lattes come a bit cold (I recommend ordering it extra hot if you want it hot at all) and that they're on the pricier side. I think you pay the premium for the location and the idea that they have daytime, weekday lingering patrons taking tables. I ordered a lavender latte with soy milk and mango habanero sugar. It mostly tasted like a regular latte. Points for creativity but maybe not execution. I would order their black coffee in the future. Their coffee (bagged roasted beans) is very yummy. Given the name, I had high expectations. I was underwhelmed. The drink selections weren't as broad as I was hoping for. I went with the green tea but they didn't have honey so that was unfortunate. The tea also wasn't served hot. It was more on the cold/luke warm side. My friend order the cheese and egg sandwich and it was somewhat floating in grease. We arrived around 10am and there was a decent crowd. However, the flow of traffic moved pretty quickly so we were able to get a table and chat for about an hour. I pick and choose when I'm a breakfast person, and today was not the day, but I am forever and always a caffeine addict. That being said, the Good Times Latte was phenomenal. Vanilla lavender with habanero sugar is a beautiful flavor combination. The floral compliments the little heat that the sugar brings. I would next time ask for more sugar just because I like it spicy. I would give it five stars, but the price point and menu size doesn't seem sustainable to come here everyday. Love it here! I'm always on the lookout for good coffee shops and this one did not disappoint. Parking: I went around 9:30am on a Thursday so there was plenty of free street parking available. I believe there is a paid lot next to the building though. I can imagine it being a hassle throughout the day since the street is pretty busy. Service: Amazing! I got the Iced Good Times Latte (w/ regular milk. They only have regular or oat milk) and it was a good suggestion. It tasted like a regular vanilla latte but with a little special flavor (could have been the lavender or sugar). I also got a Crunch Wrap (w/ chicken sausage) which was sooooo good! Definitely will be a breakfast go-to! Ambiance: This location is small so if you're looking to sit keep in mind that spots may be scarce. There were a lot of patrons having meetings and some (like myself) who were just there to read, do light work, and start the day. There are tables and chairs outside as well. The WIFI worked great and I had no issues with connecting and staying online. The music was great and wasn't too loud. The merch, decor, and overall branding was perfect and fit the area well. Amazing! Love the energy and vibe of the is place! LGBTQ friendly for sure! They had an awesome vibe inside and even outside. Perfect for work, meet ups, or solo missions to get a rush of coffee or lattes lol. I grabbed a special drink offered this month. I thought it was pretty cool since proceeds go towards LGBTQ community. It looked like a unicorn and tasted like rainbows. The milk, is apparently soaked with Trix cereal making the coffee sweet and an added familiar taste. The colors were mixed of purple, blue, pink, brown and white. Tastebuds went nuts lol.
