Definitely enjoyed with a cup of tea. There was a taste of cinnamon which I love, the top was crispy, inside moist. Perfection The environment- was welcoming, plenty of seating. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant was clean. They sell merchandise, coffee beans, and stickers. For around $13, you get a large breakfast sandwich and a side of your choice, which is hard to beat. Ordering through the app was quick and easy, and everything arrived without any issues. My only surprise was the apple butter on the sandwich. I overlooked that detail when ordering, so the first bite caught me off guard because I wasn't expecting the sweetness. That's completely on me, and I should have requested that it be left off. While the apple butter wasn't my personal preference, I don't want to take away from the quality of the sandwich itself. The croissant was fresh, the bacon, egg, and cheese were generous, and I can absolutely see why someone who enjoys a sweet and savory breakfast sandwich would love it. The menu also allows for customization, which I simply forgot to do. I'll definitely order from Sean's again. Next time, I'll just remember to hold the apple butter.

The interior (and exterior) is clean and well-maintained. The bathroom was spotless. I believe this shop is an offshoot of the Kaldi's brand. The line can get pretty long but the two baristas working on this day were strong and able to get people in and out. Service was efficient and friendly, but they do show warmer interactions with people who are clearly regulars. Can't be mad at it. I got a strawberry matcha latte and a bacon/egg/cheese which apparently comes on a bagel and isn't customizable at all. Matcha was good -- typical more than anything. The sandwich was pre-made slop. Fake egg, limp bacon, flavorless and doughy bagel. I would have skipped on this entirely had I known they were going to grab a bag from their grab-n-go section and put it in a microwave. Totally not worth $9. Skip unless you're starving and simply need the calories. Luckily they offer a discount for anyone who works in Ponce City Market, which is sweet and made me feel better about that horrible sandwich. As such, let's talk about my recent visit. The location sits towards the rear of the high traffic area which is perfect for finding parking. Upon walking in there is an assortment of treats that capture your eye. The ambiance of the location is super chill and artsy. The paintings on the wall are not only amazing but they are for sale as well. Talk about a win win! Being this was my first time I wanted to go outside of my usual coffee order. I decided on the Coffee of the Day with a shot of Almond and Vanilla. The Murder Blend has a smooth Coffee taste. This is the perfect blend for someone (such as myself) who enjoys the authentic taste of coffee. As I love a good Dark Blend. This Medium/Dark Blend allows the roast flavor to be very evident. The flavor profile has a heavy body, and the flavor is prominent but isn't spicy and has the authentic bittersweet tang, subtle chocolate and caramel flavors, with hints of smokiness. Yeah! As you can see, this is a perfect coffee for any moment of the day... The flavor shots are strong which pair well with the heaviness of the Murder Blend. The young lady who helped me originally was nice, however, as she wasn't as much of a coffee drinker I was unable to get her take on any of the other blends. As such, I will be back again to be surprised by the daily blend. Overall, this location is great for a break from a busy day, a chance to meet with friends, or even a quick business conversation. All of the aforementioned will fit in this location with any blend of coffee.

Backdrop: My partner and I were in town for a photographing event and stopped here due to my affefor botanicals. Service...started off absolutely horrible! We walked in a grabbed a high top in the bar area. The tender (that resembled Ms Badu) was more interested in her friend and boyfriend than serving us. After the lack of acknowledgement I went and stood at the bar, for about 5 minutes. Finally, a look (of disdain), but nothing more. I went back to my partner. We discussed leaving. I walked back to the bar, after approximately 20 minutes after entering this establishment she finally decided we weren't leaving at took out order. After seeing a shift change, we decided to stay and order food. Beyond was the new rep for the business and this he was the best person for saving this from a 1 star review! There was the appearance that he genuinely cared for his customers. We weren't special, he treated everyone with the same upbeat courtesy! "Beyond", and, what I presumed was the owner saved the experience/vibe . Overall this a unique venue, as it's the only kava bar that actually serves food. Though I was a participant, there appears to be special theatrical events upstairs. The restaurant and bar is separated if this is important to one's experience. There are plenty of board games, if this maybe your thing. Food: Good, portions a bit small for price, for the type of food - 4 stars Beyond (staff) - 5 stars! Food server was amazingly courteous. Gave off owner vibes - 5 stars! Botanicals (quality) - 3 stars Kava - 4 stars Parking: paid if you don't want to hike in the heat! 3 stars Beyond should be the metric for all future hires! "Ms. Badu" should be removed from the lineup, as her attitude is like a hole in the hull!

My friend said she enjoyed her latte too. I will note that I did not taste the Ube flavor. This coffee shop is a vibe, but also serves yo tasty drinks and treats! I would highly recommend checking this spot out !
