A friend told me about this spot when I was visiting Atlanta - ended up going every single morning of the trip!! Fantastic coffee & even better prices. I am counting down the days until I am back in January! Their bakery was also delicious and staff was so friendly. I loved their little booths, felt private but cozy!

It's just what I need for a focused, and productive morning. Booths and a working bar that faces outward toward the Woodruff Arts Center courtyard. Plenty of outdoor seating, and outlets o' plenty. I honestly couldn't ask for more when I want to set up my laptop and have a solo or group work date. The staff is very kind, too. I love knowing that refuge has a job training program that actually empowers their employees. Then of course the chai and the pastries are on point. While I don't deviate from the usual very often, everything I've had has been reliably tasty. Without question, they'll see me again. Pro tip: Nab some street parking if you can. It's the cheaper option.

I love being part of this community of courageous welcome! The coffee is good. The people are lovely.

I've been to Refuge Coffee more than 5 times now! I'm such a regular and realized that it's a time for a review lol. The staff is always nice and make great coffee consistently! Their matcha is also very good! I usually add a lavender shot to my matcha, which make the drink even better! My boyfriend and I have great memories here. I also like that they have private booths so that I can do work sometimes. Overall, I encourage you to pay them a visit!

Ease of ordering, yummy snacks ! Enjoy my quarterly visit to the high museum and found myself hungry. What a great place to stop for a light bite and some coffee or tea. Fast and friendly service. Plenty of indoor seating as well as outdoor tables. The prices are fair considering we were in Midtown. I'll be back.

I love the mission behind this shop but their coffee is not the best in my book. The staff were nice but there was also only 2 people in for the weekend, I think they are busier on the weekdays. I think this is a great set up for people to be able to set up and get some work done. There is mostly booths for seating so it is somewhat private but it isn't the place I'd go for the best coffee in the area. They do have food options from pastries to lunch salad and snack foods, it's really nice to have this shop in an area near all the office buildings in the area.

Cute little spot that's hidden but very close to a lot of places. They had pastries and snacks. Lots of coffee and drink options. Didn't wait long at all to get our drink. Minimal seating inside but there are a lot of spots to sit outside.

What a delight to have supported this business who's also giving back to the community by providing job mentorship and training to refugees and immigrants. As an immigrant myself, I would 100% support this place. It's conveniently located just a few steps from High Museum as well. Not a lot of indoor seating but I grabbed and yo my coffee. I ordered one of their seasonal items - Dulce de leche cappuccino and it hit the spot.

Refuge is a cute little coffee shop attached to the High Museum. I felt like grabbing a nice iced latte out, so I walked over to check them out. This place is a no frills kind of coffee shop, but honestly, the Lavender Latte I ordered was perfect. Just the right amount of syrup to milk/coffee ratio. I didn't get a chance to read all of the signage, but my understanding is that Refuge is attached to a non-profit mission, which I'm always a fan of. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Next time I come back, I look forward to trying a pastry, and I plan to bring my laptop for work.

Tried the Chagaccino, very good!! Tasted just like a latte.

Tried the chagaccino- very good! Tasted just like a latte. Went when it was pretty crowded, and service was still very quick! Highly recommend

I ate here a few weeks ago during UPS Second Sunday. Luckily the line was not long at all, and there was still seating when my friends and I were there. We did sit outside on the patio (despite scorching temperatures), but they do have an awning so there is a little shade. I just got an everything bagel with cream cheese. It's nothing to the likes of Brooklyn Bagels in Ansley Park, but it served its purpose - a.k.a. my hungry belly!

Had an unexpected day in Atlanta due to a late night cancelled flight, and this place was exactly what I needed. Ordered a mocha latte and chocolate croissant and enjoyed them at the outdoor tables. They were both excellent! (The chicken salad sandwich I got to go was also very good!)

My partner and I are on a mission to try all of the coffee spots in Atlanta. Refuge had pretty decent coffee although mine didn't taste as good as his even though we got the same thing. We both got oatmilk lattes but mine tasted a little watered down and slightly burnt. His was delicious though. We also got an almond croissant which was pretty tasty. I think mine may have been a slight fluke so I'm interested to see what their other drinks taste like. The coffee shop is in a cute little area of Midtown right next to the High Museum of Art. There is plenty of seating outside and it would be a really great area for coffee especially on a day with nice weather. Be warned, there is not a lot of parking around so it may take a little bit to find some street parking.

Bloom is a very large café. When I walked in around 2:15pm, it was pretty full, but there were still spaces to sit either at the tabletops or at the back on a sofa. They also have a few tables in front of the store. Just a reminder, make sure you scan the QR code when you enter so you can get the 3 hours of free parking. If not, they do boot around here! On this visit, they had several fall seasonal drinks that I was tempted to get, but I decided to go with an oldie-but-goodie that I haven't had in a while, the salted maple latte with oat milk. It was a very delicious and creamy drink! Service is always friendly and very consistent. Since I saved $5 on my coffee, I decided to add on a sweet treat and had one of their donuts. And since it wasn't too hot outside, I sat outside to enjoy my coffee before hopping back in the car. Overall, Bloom is so consistent. It's a great environment for working, has a really good coffee selection, and offers great service. You won't be disappointed!

And to make matters worse, by the time I got home, somehow the latte was leaking from the bottom of the cup. I guess they have some cheap cups for their to go drinks. I've never had a coffee leak from the bottom of the cup and nearly competely waste out into my car. I won't be back. What a waste.

When I went in around 12pm on a Friday, it was fairly quiet inside. Most people were working, so it is a good space to have a meeting, get work done, read a book, or just relax. There was no wait when I walked up, and the service was friendly and efficient. They had several sweet and savory items available in the display case, as well as coffee you can purchase. You'll actually see some other spots around the Atlanta area that use Dancing Goats coffee! I decided to try one of their seasonal flavors and ordered the 12oz Iced Pumpkin Pie Latte for $6.10, adding oat milk for an extra $1. I have to say, it's one of the best pumpkin drinks I've had so far this season! It was smooth, tasted like actual pumpkin pie, and I could taste all the nice fall flavors. I also picked up an apple spice donut for $5.25, which I haven't had the chance to eat yet. Overall, the service was very friendly, the coffee was great, and the validated parking is a big plus. It would be amazing to have the opposite -- an amazing coffee shop with quality things to buy. Until that happens, I'll appreciate this though. They focus on New Orleans/Louisiana style drinks for their signatures, but they have all the lattees and fancy macciatos available for the coffee snobs like me. I enjoyed their New Orleans style coffee and it was a good blend of spices yet not too strong. My cousin got a cappaccino which had pretty coffee art. This isn't the place to go if you're on a type of diet needing to alter ingredients to make it fit. Just throwing that out there. Their New Orleans style coffee comes pre-made. They have other options, but don't try to get their signature items. Note, they do have seating. Like one table and some bar stools, but that counts right? I don't believe it was near an outlet to do some work, but it wasn't too busy. I would ask a study group to meet me here, but it would be risky since there is not a lot of options if another group is already there.
