Dancing Goats is an essential coffee shop in Atlanta for a good reason. They always have very fun seasonal drink options. We went for St. Patrick's Day and they upped their game this time with green whipped cream. Their creativity does not cause a drop off in quality of coffee though. They use great beans and I have never had a bad drink here. On top of their good coffee, their pastries are also excellent. We got the raspberry danish and they heated it up for us. The croissant part was so buttery, flaky, and crisp. The filling was also an excellent flavor. Since they don't bake in house, I was surprised by the quality of this pastry. I love the areas they have to sit around the shop too. They have created unique sections with different vibes which makes it enjoyable to come here and work for a little bit while enjoying your treats. read more

This place is located across the street from the Marta train station. There is customer parking on the side of the building but I'm not sure if they validate it. Staff are always so lovely and greet you when you come in. It's like the perfect local coffee shop! It's small but mighty. They have a decent selection of coffee snd espresso but also a great selection of pastries and cookies - my favorite! I got the spinach and cheddar quiche. It was kinda sweet but delish. I wanted to try a coffee shop that was unique to the area and came across Dancing Goats Coffee. Interesting name! They have Atlanta-based mugs and thermos mugs for sale, as well as coffee products. The shop itself was nice and clean. I originally was looking at the location at Ponce City Market, but we were on our way to a Santa Paw's party at the dog park nearby on 10th, so we walked here instead. They don't allow dogs inside, so my friend waited outside while I ordered. There's a patio on the side and some seating at the front, but it was chilly and windy that day. I had the hazelnut latte with oat milk, and my friend had a vanilla latte with oat milk. I will say that their coffee is at a higher price point, and the milk substitute with cost a little over $1 compared to other coffee shops. The latte was good. Not as sweet but had a nice flavor. They also fill it to the rim, so be careful putting on the lid which you do yourself. read more

Friendly service. Efficient flow and layout. Great morning atmosphere. However, one star comes off due to the neglected condiment station. The Half & Half was bad, ruining an otherwise excellent cup of coffee. I did taste the coffee before adding any cream and sugar. Full-bodied and great pallet coverage. What a great spot! I really needed a pick me up! They had closed Peachtree for a pedestrian walk, which started at 11 and ended at 6. As I walked back, I searched for coffee and the "dancing goats" popped up. They have a small enclosed patio to the side of the main area, which has a number of chairs. Lots of studious looking people on their computers. I liked the circle bar area but just a little too cozy for me. So I got my coffee to go. I ordered the dark chocolate chip chilly goat since it was a signature drink. The friendly barista asked if I wanted whipped cream...Hells yeah! LOL! This was a delicious afternoon creation that hit the spot. They also have some chairs and tables out in front. I also bought some beans and they cheerfully ground them for me! I decided to try this place for the first time on March 9, 2025, at 1:05 PM, and I can confidently say it will also be my last. From the moment I walked in, the experience was disappointing. I said hello twice, and the young man taking my order--blonde, curly hair--completely ignored me. No greeting, no acknowledgment, just an immediate attitude of arrogance and indifference. When I placed my order, he was shockingly dismissive, passive-aggressive, and condescending. Instead of listening to what I was actually asking for, he acted like he knew better and refused to engage with any real understanding. I have ordered the same thing from countless other places without issue, but because he was too caught up in his own assumptions, I ended up with the wrong order. What made it worse was that another employee--a young woman making my coffee--actually tried to clarify what I wanted after overhearing our conversation. But instead of allowing her to confirm with me, he cut her off and arrogantly told her to just make it the way he said. Rather than cause a scene, I took my drink and left--only to find, as expected, it was completely wrong. I specifically asked for one-third milk, and rather than simply asking for clarification, he made up his own version and drowned my coffee in milk. The lack of basic courtesy and customer service here is appalling. If this is the type of experience you provide, I have no interest in ever returning. Businesses thrive on good service, and with employees like this, it's only a matter of time before you start losing customers. read more

Good service, fast and friendly staff. The place is clean and has plenty of space to sit and enjoy your drink. Very rare I found cafe that serve pour over. This one does. They also has a deal with the standard by a bag get a free coffee. On Wednesday the coffee is 2$ off. The coffee is standard drip. You are a given a choice of which one you want. Not sure if they always use blends in their drip but that make sense. I wanted to try their pour over next time as I already got the free coffee today. They sell bagged coffee, teas and merch and we got bagged coffee, a box of tea, a matcha latte for $35 ish. Not sure how much each item was They give you a free iced or hot coffee when you buy a bag though so that's awesome! They also sell pastries from Alons which if you haven't tried, is a great place too They also validate parking in the deck next door which I wish we knew before we parked on the street! The speed at which an espresso and a macchiato is made was poor. People who ordered after us received their drinks before us. All could be forgiven if the coffee was actually good. The coffee was too acidic (which just means I don't like the beans, so that's maybe not their fault), but they were also slightly overroasted. If you like working in indoor cafés, this is a good one. It's relatively quiet inside. The backyard outdoor space feels like what I imagine prison feels like and there's a staircase to exit that makes it not a fire hazard (so I guess not like prison after all). The staff were kind and warm. I'll likely never return because I like espresso too much to do that to my tastebuds again. read more

I saw this place had a La marzaco so it was worth the 20-minute drive from where I was staying at Atlanta airport. While this place really knows how to roast beans and that fantastic multi-group La marzaco, it's just a beautiful thing to see. I got a quad shot latte here about 4 days in a row and every time they didn't disappoint it was incredible. Great Baristas, fantastic roast! Thank you so much for saving my travel mornings. I came here to be a place to get work done before catching a flight, and it was a fantastic spot! The staff are so friendly and kind. They do not mind having customers that work remotely at their cafe, there is plenty of seating as well tables with outlets. The music is at a great level, quiet, not too loud to get in the way of thinking through a paper or work through a virtual meeting. As you pull into the parking lot you will notice parking is very limited. We got lucky as someone was pulling out right in front :) There are a few tables outside, I believe three and the rest is inside. Only one patron was wearing a mask. By late afternoon the floor was just a tad messing and the area where you can pick up lids, a dash of cinnamon, etc could have used a sprucing up. I get it...end of day. My husband used the bathroom and reported back, very tidy. His brewed coffee so hot took :20 before he could take a sip, that is hot! Once he did, smooth and oh so delightful. I had a decaf Latte with whole milk that just hit the spot. I didn't notice the music. There were mugs and t-shirts with their logo for sale and bagged coffee. Also to go salad in glass jars as well as bagels, donuts and things of that nature. Even end of day they looked pretty fresh. Go, enjoy and drink up! read more

Not everyone knows about the crazy goats who first clued US humans into the magical properties of the coffee Bean, but here's a great place to learn that lesson. This cafe is in a great location, and also across the Midtown Marta station. It's very spacious, but seats fill up quick. The amount of noise, including the music from the speaker, makes it difficult for me to work there. Their drinks are okay, too - nothing that special. Very average service, food and coffee. I had a bagel which you are required to slice and toast at the self-service station. Imagine holding the same slicer and pushing the same toaster buttons as everyone in the public without hand sanitizer. The bagel wasn't even that great considering the cheese and jalapeños slid off of the bagel when being toasted. The coffee was fine but nothing to write home about. I was told I could have a free refill while there but that was not desired. Many people were present doing work on laptops. The space was airy and full of light to aide in these tasks.
