The coffee & pastries are great! 3. the parking is usually free/easy 4. there are outlets at nearly every seat 5. it's not super busy but 6. on two separate occasions, I've waited in line for nearly 15 minutes to place my order with one or two other people ahead of me. I personally think that's way too long to just be standing there. But if you don't mind waiting almost 30 minutes (between placing your order and receiving your order) then it's a fantastic coffee shop! read more

What a gorgeoussss coffe shop!! I have seen Daydreamer all over social media and after reading the reviews on Yelp, I thought it would be a great place to spend a morning working. I circled the block before I found street parking about a block away from the coffee shop. Because it was a weekday morning, I wasn't surprised that the streets were busy and parking didn't end up costing too much. After a brief walk, I approached the building and first impressions were fantastic. Daydreamer is connected to an apartment building and the aesthetics are on point. Like, this place is gorgeous! There was way more seating than I expected, inside of the cafe, outside on the terrace, and inside of the attached leasing office. There were a number of tables, booths and even comfy couches to lounge on. Electrical outlets weren't plentiful, but I eventually snagged a booth that had a plug. Yay! There seemed to only be one menu at the front and it said 'please don't take', lol. So I stayed very close to the register as I read the menu, but I'm hoping they just ran out or my 4-eyed self missed the larger menu on display. I decided to go with the sugar graham hot latte w/ oatmilk and one of their pastries. The employee behind the counter was really patient and so kind to every customer, he was running that counter like the navy. 5-stars for him! I see why this place is such a hit among other Yelpers. Wow! I've been trying to stop by Daydreamer since they opened last August and I finally had the chance. I just have to say a HUGE shoutout to our Barista, Sarah! She was phenomenal! She was so friendly and also gave great suggestions from their menu. She was the only person working because we came in the middle of the day. There were a decent amount of customers but the service was quick and efficient. I have to give her her flowers, she was the icing on top of a great experience. This has got to be one of the most aesthetically pleasing coffee shops I have ever seen. In addition to the gorgeous midcentury modern decor, there is a ton of seating available. I believe the coffee shop is attached to the apartment building, so the theme runs between both large seating areas. It was so cool! My matcha was delicious! I ended up going with the Morning Matcha (Lavender and White Chocolate, I added oat milk) and it did not disappoint! The prices were on par with other coffeehouses in the midtown ATL area. I did not have a chance to try the pastries but hopefully next time! Overall, this was a great experience! I look forward to visiting soon. This is a cozy coffee shop that gives off a warm and welcoming vibe, complemented by the excellent customer service from the staff. I'm not sure how good the food or pastries are since I only had coffee, but the latte was definitely respectable. The staff was very helpful and made me feel right at home. Since the shop is connected to student housing, there is a younger crowd, but I actually find the quiet transitional traffic somewhat helpful when working and needing visual inspiration while taking a brake from reading or writing. One note, the restroom wasn't clean, however it's connected to a student living facility so I didn't incorporate that into my rating in giving student life and behavior compassion and grace. All said, it's not a deal breaker. I do highly recommend this spot and will definitely be adding it to my regular coffee shop rotation. read more

TL;DR: People come here for the vibes and for decent pastries, and it's convenient if you live in Midtown, but *please* do not come here for the drinks. If you want to work in a beautiful space in Midtown, Daydreamer's for you. Pull up a chair and order a pastry (I recommend the chocolate croissants!). There's wifi and a number of outlets here and there if you know where to look. As for the drinks and the service, there's a lot lacking. The coffee is average and the chai tastes like the thought of cinnamon, but no other spices or even tea. Overall, would come back here on a rainy day, but wouldn't recommend in general. read more

This place is decently confusing to find, and not something you can park around. You can find a parking deck nearby but that is unfortunate when it rains or is hot out. They have a pastry case but had no food in it by 11 am on a Saturday. The coffee is good, and the vibes and ambiance in here are fantastic. Really cozy, a great place to work remotely or study, but not a good place to meet friends, since its so quiet in there. The drinks were good and the employees answered all my questions, but I wouldn't make this my go to, worth the stop in if you are grabbing and going or planning to work silently. read more

Very cute space. This is a coffee shop attached to apartments primarily used by Georgia Tech students. So there is some traffic flowing in and out consistently, but it's not overwhelming or noisy. There is a good amount of space overall; certain spaces have access to plug ins so early is a best bet. The barista was very nice and made a great latte. It is a contemporary place if that is what you are looking for. It is inside a rental complex targeted to the young clientele. I got a honey oat latte, seasonal drink, and it was very subtle/mild flavoring. I wouldn't order it again tho. Pain au chocolat was ordinary, nothing special. I rotate various coffee shops through the week but he first week this place was ope, the coffee was so good I went twice. Since then, every single latte tastes the same (like nothing). How does a cookie butter latte taste the same as the cinnamon latte or even a regular vanilla latte? Located in an apartment building, I had hope to stay but parking is a pain to fine and if you do you have to pay (they don't validate). So I just had my partner drop me off and wait. I know the coffee standard now is $6+ for a small, with a 20% tip my small vanilla latte with almost $9. Also it did take a bit to come out which normally I don't care about unless someone is waiting outside in the car for me. There also wasn't much in the way of food when I was there. If I lived in this apartment building it would be perfect but for someone not within walking distance it's not worth the drive. read more

Daydreamer Coffee has a stunning modern retro aesthetic interior while incorporating plants as part of the decor. There's cozy seating within the shop to sit by yourself or within a small group throughout the cafe. Daydreamer has become quite popular and we came on a busy Saturday so there wasn't much seating left. (The Whistler offers seating right outside of the shop and the aesthetic is also charming!) But the coffee was worth grabbing anyway! The cashier was kind and swift and the drinks (Honey Oat Latte and Whistler Matcha - made with honey and oat milk, both specialty beverages) were great! Daydreamer is in the same building as the Whistler apartment complex and parking can be tricky. There are few street parking spots alongside the buildings but we parked at the Publix lot nearby. (Careful when parking there, sometimes they check, sometimes they won't). We definitely want to come back and hopefully be able to grab a seat to get some work done! read more

Found this cafe on tik tok, and decided to give a visit on Saturday so I could get some work done. Overall the atmosphere was very cozy and looked just like what I had seen on the internet. What I did not know however is that that cafe and work space basically serves as a lobby for the apartments above. It was very cold outside the day that I went and the cafe basically served as a revolving door for students that lived above. Air and wind kept coming in and I ended up never taking my jacket off. The constant foot traffic also made it very difficult for me to focus. As if I wasn't already distracted, the fire alarm continued to go off even though nothing was wrong. The fire department had to come turn it off but it went off at least two times for spans of 10+ minutes after they left. I decided to leave and maybe try again when I have something to do that doesn't require intense focus. read more

Daydreamer coffee is located in the lobby of some student apartments. It is close by to Georgia tech and you will many students coming here to study/work. The space is aesthetically pleasing and they have quite a bit of seating. Although many of their spots don't have charging ports. The service is pleasant and they have good recommendations and are accommodating. My friend got the honey oat latte and it was delicious. I ordered the matcha latte with vanilla syrup and whole milk. There was another option on the menu with oat milk and honey for the matcha latte. I would say the matcha wasn't as strong and fragrant as I would like. Also, the matcha powder was coagulated at the bottom and didn't seem like they whisked it. But it was still pretty good. I would come back again. read more

The ham and cheese croissant however, was amazing and I wouldn't mind returning for that. It was buttery, baked to perfection, and the ham to cheese ratio was perfect. Other than Sundays, you'll have to pay for parking in a nearby garage or parallel street space. II. SERVICE Quick and informative. They'll holler your order out when it's ready so feel free to sit and get comfortable after paying. I liked that they had a sugar-free vanilla syrup option to add to your beverages ~ guilt-free. WiFi here is free and charging outlets accommodate the different options you choose to sit at. III. QUALITY I wouldn't say the coffee here is very dense. So be weary, coffee snob friends.
