Strange setup, but my pancakes were pretty darn good. The atmosphere was laid back but the scenery was amazing. It's covered in Hispanic culture so full of vibrant color and history. We were in a hurry and stumbled across this spot thanks to Google maps. Bacon was crispy and our server had us in and out in no time. Wish we didn't have the food in to-go containers so no pics unfortunately. read more

I loved this breakfast! This restaurant is located in Castleberry Hill, and has a huge parking lot. They open nice and early, so we stopped in for an 8am breakfast before a movie tour we had scheduled. The staff was so friendly! My husband and I both got omelets and they amazing. Mine was the fajita omelet with chicken- delicious, decadent and protein filled to set me up for the day. I also had an iced americano which was delicious and woke me up. If I lived near this place I would go all the time! read more

I'm really surprised by how high the reviews are, but this place is mediocre at best for brunch. What is nice is that they open early at 8 AM and there is a ton of parking and a ton of indoor and outdoor seating. It's a fun vibe with tons of merchandise and colorful decor on the inside. They have like ten different flavors of mimosas and a variety of other fruity breakfast cocktails, which is always a plus for any boozy brunch! But the food ... is okay, at best. Everything is bland and flavorless and there's definitely better brunch places in Atlanta. Service was okay? It kind of just depends how busy they are - our server was super busy so it took some time before she even got to our orders and then some additional time for our drinks and food to get to us. Come here if you like a good deal on fruity breakfast cocktails, but I wouldn't come here specifically for the food. read more

Really wondering how this place has 4.4 stars. Not sure where to start. Says blue corn hot cakes, neither blue corn nor fresh. Pretty sure they are made ahead of time, id rather have frozen pancakes heated up in the microwave. Mine was alright, canned beans/ lack of flavor. My moms potatoes, stale at best, one of them was ice cold. Such a shame because interior is somewhat appealing. Might sound harsh but just want people to know that the 4.4 stars are misleading, try somewhere else. This place is not putting out quality food, it shows they don't care. read more

The ADios Café was my top restaurant/café experience in Atlanta. The food, service, and atmosphere all made that possible. My order: - Southwest Omelette: What really sealed the deal for me to order this omelet was the diverse list of veggies and cheese in it (onions, tomatoes, jalapeños, corn, black beans, Mexican cheese, sour cream, and pan de queso). This combination of flavors was amazing and I loved it. The icing on the cake for me was saving the sour cream and pan de queso for last (the perfect combination). The pan de queso was so fresh, fluffy, and cheesy. If I could order a tray of those, I would. - Fruit Bowl: I was anticipating a bowl, but instead I received a large plate! The Mexican cream the fruit is served with made for a tasty and light dip. - Mayan Mocha: Although I love chocolate, I generally stay away from it in terms of ordering it in my coffee drinks. However, I ordered the Mayan Mocha because of its added spice in the form of chile de arbol. Prior to visiting ADios Café, I have not had a spicy coffee, and it was time for me to open that door. It was a good choice and it is something that I would order again. Next time I would ask for less mocha flavoring. The mocha used here was extremely rich. Personally, I do not prefer my coffee drinks to be overly sweet. Service: The service here was fantastic. I made it in two minutes before 2:00pm. The waitress told me that breakfast menu ends at 2:00pm, but she would be able to still take my order off that menu. I was pretty happy with that because then it led to me trying one of the best omelettes I have had at a restaurant. The waitress had a high sense of urgency in terms of speed of service. She was on point. ADios Café is definitely a place I would recommend to others. If I had more time in Atlanta, I would gladly visit again. read more

We didn't realize this was a part of no mas cantina so we were given the option to eat off their breakfast or lunch or even dinner menu. Not a big wait at lunch and the food came out quick. Karina was a fantastic server. The decor is beautiful and it's awesome you can buy so much art while you're there. There is plenty of free parking in the back so you don't have to park on the street. read more

Let's get straight to the review! Adios Café is in Walker Street about a half a mile south of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, downtown ATL. Parking is great! I'm a fan of 7days a week breakfast! The menu: great selections for sure! My husband had "THE ADIOS" love how the chorizo hash brown that was mixed in the presentation. I had the "HUEVOS DIVORCIADOS" avocado slice was fresh! Our breakfast (Yes, I tasted my husbands food too.. after all, sharing is caring lol) was full of flavor! All I can say is Adios yummy food is delectable, lip smacking yuummmmm! It was totally scrumptious very appetizing and pleasing to one's taste! Can't go wrong with that! On the sweeter side, "CREPA DE NUTELLA" I'm a big fan of crepes.. to add sweet plantains with generous portions of nutella,,, muy Bueno! In addition, you have to try their "MAYAN MOCHA" - double shot of espresso, milk, chocolate, and that "chile de arbol" (it's a type of spicy all natural dried peppers) very interesting addition to the flavor for sure!!! adds zing to the mocha over all taste!!!! I will be returning and trying all the different especiales on their menu for sure! The SERVER: BRIA (beautiful name) was very attentive.. energetic,,, and fantastic "aura", she had a magnetic personality which is a very important quality in servers! She was very personable and friendly... made sure we had water once we sat, gave us time to review menu, asked us if we had any questions, made sure the meals were served timely! KUDOS to YOU BRIA! And thanks to your manager by coming up to the table(s) making sure the customers are satisfied! Ambiance: We love experiencing different restaurants especially the ones that serve breakfast/brunch! We have family all over the US and loves to visit ATL. So, my husband and I are always searching that restaurant that fits our personality! We are a fan of No Mas Cantina! And YES YES, Adios Café is also located inside No Mas! Such a great place, I love their retail area, lots of cute, sentimental things to choose from. I go inside this place and I feel like I'm on vacation and I'm in someplace much more tropical... so.. get away for a few hours, come and visit No Mas/Adios Café and enjoy the food and great teams around you... Love the coffee/espresso bar area with lots of savory sweets to choose from! Of course, we are coming back! Happy eating... read more

Had breakfast and got some pastries to go. Did not try the pastries yet, so if they need comment, I will add that later. Anyway, the first problem is that the place is inside a furniture/tchockie shop. That isn't a problem except the majority of the window is dedicated to the shop and I had a little trouble finding the place until I got out and walked to find the entrance. The stuff being sold in the shop looks interesting, though it is closed Mondays. As far as the restaurant. It is small but pleasant and nicely decorated. There is a small counter. There are pastries and artisan chocolates you can purchase. Service was relaxed but friendly. Place was basically empty on a Monday morning. I had the highly reviewed blue corn pancakes. They were good, but nothing special. They tasted good, but they didn't seem unique. Also had one potato cake which was actually just a small portion of shredded potatoes. They could've been crispy, but were kind of limp and soggy without much flavor. Got 2 orders of their bacon, which was regular supermarket style bacon - nothing fancy. You did get a lot, so one order is enough. They have mimosas that you can get with OJ or other juices like mango. I got the mango mimosas and they were great. The cafe Cubano I also ordered was decent, though was missing the lemon rind it should have to be a true Cuban espresso. UPDATE: Just tried the cajete blondie, the mango pie, and the cheesecake brownie. WOW! AMAZING! Definitely some of the most amazing desertsI have ever had in my life. read more

A bit out of the way, so much that it was a bit surreal when I drove up to the place for a Sunday morning brunch. It is a brightly decorated place full of character, colors, and Mexican music blaring on the speakers, that it was somewhat strange that it was located seemingly in the middle of nowhere during an empty Sunday morning at 10am. For the deliciousness of the brunch items, it's unfortunate that this place isn't very busy (at least Sunday morning). Could be a good or bad thing, but I thought it was awesome that we didn't have to wait long to be served. Our waiter also seemed a bit inexperienced and on the edge...the instant we were seated he asked us what we wanted to order, and he mixed up our orders, brought me the wrong item the first time and still had the order half-wrong the second time. What compensated for this was that our items came out relatively quickly. We ordered the Mayan mochas, which were okay. A bit too sweet, not sufficiently spicey, very chocolate-y and could barely taste the espresso in it. I had the Mexican eggs benedict, which was excellent. The corn cake (masa) that it came with was absolutely delicious and featured an interesting type of corn (not your usual yellow corn kernels) that lent a great flavor to it. My friend ordered the Adios, which was excellent as well and came with a generous scoop of sour cream. Every corner of Adios is packed with something to sell, whether it is the lantern hanging above your table, random Mexican toys or decor placed throughout the cafe and restaurant, or a glass case of chocolates and baked goods, all lending a charm to the place and making me wonder why the place isn't more popular. I also heard great things about the chocolates and cupcakes here, so I may be back to give those a try. If it weren't for the Scoutmob deal, I'm not sure if I ever would have come here, since it is a bit of a ways off from Atlanta's other shop/restaurant areas. The dishes are delicious here and reasonably priced at $6-9 each. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place to grab a quick brunch Sunday morning, this is definitely a place to try. read more

Came for a mocha. Excellent. The espresso in it is clearly excellent. Great vibe. Not taking any stars away for these but a few negatives: Hard to find; there's a giant No Mas! sign, and a very small ADios sign on the door. It's a dual shop. It looked closed during the day, I think because the lighting is a bit dim, though that's pleasant once inside. Maybe an Open sign? The plants are fake which is common, but they still have the tags on them? read more

What a special little coffee shop. Connected to the Los Mas! Cantina. Most of the decor is similar to the decor found in the rest of the cantina. I was going to order my usual latte when I noticed the Mocha Tamarindo, which was nothing like I had seen before. It was very chocolatey and had a strong tart tamarind flavor. It was a bit too sweet for me but it was a unique drink that I don't think I've heard of anywhere else. I took my drink to go but the seating looked plentiful and comfy, although most tables were made for smaller groups. There were other specialty drinks on the menu which did not stand out as much but I would love to try them out as some point. Adios, until next time! read more

5 stars for ambiance and service! I felt like a tourist, admiring the art and decor of the place. Definitely worth a visit to check out this place. Parking is plentiful in the back. When I left, I saw signs for complimentary valet but I didn't think it was needed/necessary. The ADios was good, adaptable to the average American palate, I believe. It has potatoes (hash!), chorizo, green salsa (which I thought was just a-ok, would have preferred with the salsa, probably), etc. The best part of the meal was the Mayan mocha. Interesting with the chili! I would definitely come back to get this and/or other drinks next time. read more

QUICK & DIRTY: ADios Cafe offers a Mexican twist on popular breakfast dishes. Worth dining there at least once. ***** I. LOCATION & PARKING: Using Google Maps, one should have any trouble finding on Adios Cafe, which resides on the intersection of Walker and Hanes Streets. Plenty of street parking exists in the neighborhood. II. FOOD & DRINK: Like any breakfast establishment, they offer plenty of both savory and sweet options. I've both when I've visited each time: *Mexican Eggs Benedict ($11): The yolk (from their perfectly poached eggs), applewood bacon, green chile hollandaise (#life), and masa cake combine, for a fantastic bite. I like their take more than a traditional eggs Benedict, honestly. Their genius masa cake also has a soft, flavor-absorbant texture. *Blue Corn Hotcakes ($8): Three large hotcakes arrive topped with passion fruit butter and piloncillo syrup. Honestly, although good, I wouldn't recommend them. But hey, if you like hotcakes, then go ahead! **Mayan Mocha ($5): Consists of a double shot of espresso, milk, chocolate, and chile de arbol. The drink's chocolate proportion works, and the kick of chile would wake anyone up. Me likes. III. SERVICE: Although nice, I do think they could benefit by having a host work the door. During both visits, I've walked in and had to look around, for someone to seat us. (I usually have to go up to the bar.) Not sure if they suffer from an understaffing issue, but it definitely is inefficient when it comes to processing patrons and deterrent from wanting to visit often. IV. AMBIANCE & DECOR: They have one of the most beautifully decorated restaurants in Atlanta, honestly. If I kicked it in some Mexican garden elaborate, I would imagine it looking like this. They also have a store connected to the restaurant, and it sells everything from gorgeous knick-nacks to home art. The tables accommodate mainly groups up to four. V. PRICES: Maybe a dollar or two high, but nothing offensive. VI. OVERALL: Adios Cafe wouldn't serve as my first choice, for breakfast if I lived Downtown. I also wouldn't go out of my way to eat there. But if you love and seek out Mexican-style breakfasts, then it's worth checking out at least once. Try it for yourself! read more

The establishment is nice. It might be difficult to find parking as it is right in the middle of Downtown Atlanta. If you want to find authentic Mexican food, you may be disappointed. Personally, I did not enjoy the food very much. It was pretty bland and cold when brought out. The beans were very oily. There was a layer of oil on top of them. The meat was cooked perfectly but lacked seasoning. The agua de horchata was powdered mix. I will unfortunately not be back. Service was okay. The waiter took very long to come and take our order, despite barely any customers seated in his section. He was kind, though. read more

It's been several months since I've been to my favorita downtown breakfast spot ADios Cafe and I really missed it. I've been coming here almost a decade so I'm a 'bit of a ADios Expert'. The menu has evolved recently and it really amazing. You won't find a Mexican breakfast place like this in the city. You start with amazing Organic Mexican coffee prepared many different ways including one that has chocolate and is spicy to boot. The French toast is like bread pudding you get in New Orleans and it is delicious. Service is second to none at this place and quite often the owners Walt and Steve can be found here conducting business. You are surrounded by Mexican art second to none in this state. The tables and chairs are all handmade from Mexico and I guarantee you, you won't walk out of this place without buying something at the gift shop. There usually isn't much of a wait for a table here. Say 'Hola' to Adios and I promise you, it will become your favorite breakfast/brunch spot in Atlanta. read more

The food is delish along with the ambiance, love the over all restaurant. The service is at best very poor, ordered coffee and water well before we ordered breakfast. The food comes out 3-5 minutes before we even got anything to dr. This waitress should not be trying to do this job. This place is a must for breakfast or brunch! Whether you sit inside, outside or at the bar, you'll have a beautiful view. I loved the mexican decor and their authentic store. Again I sat waiting to place my order longer than any other breakfast spot, especially with it not being busy. After placing my ordering coffee hot chocolate came to me. (Surprisingly the best thing about the meal.) A while longer my food came out. The fruit bowl I asked to come out first was a plate of unripe Mellon and unripe pineapple along with some very sad/terrible looking grapes. Did not eat. I met up with a friend yesterday for brunch. If you didnt know Adios Cafe is attached to No Mas there is a small section for seating at the front of the restaurant that is first come first served, but you can receive service on the No Mas side as well just ask for the brunch menu. My friend & I had to be seated on the No Mas side & I must say service was not the best it took a while for our server to acknowledge us after the host seated us. Once she came over to the table you could barely hear her & her interactions with us were a little weird. She would stay gone for long periods of time without checking on us. I asked her a couple of questions about the menu and she couldn't really answer them. I think she must have been new. I did like the ambiance of the restaurant and the Mexican market it made me feel like I was back in Mexico. The food not so much it was okay, but far from authentic Mexican food. I ordered the breakfast burrito I subbed the eggs for egg whites (extra $1) and added bacon (extra $2) it came with a small scoop of guacamole and sour cream. I had to pick around some of the lettuce because some of it was already browning so definitely not fresh greens. My friend ordered the flautas appetizer and wasn't impressed. She said they were too dry and needed some cheese or sour cream. When she asked for a side of sour cream that was $1 extra. So FYI there is an extra charge for everything. All in all my food was decent and I left full, but I can't say I am in a rush to go back. read more

A nice hidden gem in Castleberry Hills. My partner and I came here Monday morning for the first time excited to try their Mexican flair on breakfast food. The restaurant was practically empty when we arrived, but that wasn't a problem with me, only meant that we would receive better, more intimate service, which we definitely did! For breakfast, I ordered the Blue Corn Hot Cakes with passion fruit butter and a side of delicious Mexican style sausage called Chorizo. My partner ordered the Mexican French Toast, which is usually only offered during brunch on the weekends, but they were kind enough to place the order for us on a Monday. We also ordered a side of applewood bacon and scrambled eggs. The food was delicious and the portions were large and very satisfying. The French toast was a huge hit, almost resembling a bread pudding and the delicious whipped cream that melts on top of it is just an added flavor bonus. Adios Cafe is beautifully decorated, much like so, their sister restaurant, No Mas! Cantina, which is located in the same building. Our waitress was really sweet and accommodating the whole time. Regularly checking on us and making sure our coffee and water was kept full. I look forward to coming back here again and trying their Mexican style omlettes next time. read more
