This is a nice family owned restaurant that has potential. I'd definitely recommend only coming if you have a reservation, otherwise you'll likely be on the waitlist for a while. I put myself on the wait list an hour before arriving based on the time estimate, but I ended up having to still wait another hour before we were seated. The menu is pretty solid, with a good selection for both drinks and food. My friend and I both got the peach lemonade mimosa. It was okay, I'd probably just stick to a regular mimosa next time. The up charge wasn't worth it. The jerk chicken egg rolls were delicious, just as they are described on the menu. The accompanying sauce was amazing. Definitely the best thing I had. The breakfast skillet with potatoes was a bit too bland for me. Overall the dish lacked flavor. It came with a salsa, but that really didn't add much for me. The staff did take my feedback well and offered me replacement dish, but I wasn't interested. My friend loved the cajun shrimp pasta with the added chicken. She said that was very flavorful, especially the chicken. Both items were a decent portion so you definitely won't go hungry here. The restaurant is very cute but it is small. Visited on a Saturday with a 1:30 reservation. Upon arriving my party of 3 was notified the kitchen was backed up and a table would be 10-15 minutes. Due to their waiting area being small, we had to wait outside. It was in the mid 90s. After 5 minutes we received some water. Around 1:50 we asked about a table. We were told it would be a few more minutes, as they were waiting for one large party needed to be moved to another table so we could be seated. At 2pm we asked about the table again. By 2:10 we were told they were waiting on silverware. I inquired if we could be seated and have the silverware brought over due yo the extreme heat and not wanting to wait outside longer. We were finally seated and able to order. We ordered a mimosa carafe for the table and I ordered the salmon and grits. The. Mimosa was great and the salmon and grits were amazing. I would definitely order it again. We spoke with the manager regarding our waiting experience and they offered to comp the mimosa which was nice. I had to change plans last minute for a loved one's birthday celebration, and when I called two days before I needed a reservation, the staff was so kind and accommodating! We had to make a decision quickly when we were pivoting, and when we came across the great reviews and photos of the food. we didn't think twice about checking to see if we could make it happen. When we arrived, the staff was already preparing our table, so we only had to wait a few minutes before being seated. The space is pretty tight, and you're going to be close to the tables near you, but we were able to sit comfortably. Our server came over quickly to take our drink orders, and afterward she came back to answer any questions. Most of the food was ready at the same time. We appreciated that it came out as it was ready and wasn't left sitting. And everyone enjoyed the food! The only "complaint" one of my friends had was that she thought there was a little too much sauce in her shrimp and grits dish. She felt that the sauce, while it tasted great, overpowered the dish and she would've liked to taste more of the grits flavor. Had a wonderful meal with my family here recently on vacation. All six of us enjoyed our meals, so I feel you really cant go wrong no matter what you're in the mood for. I had the shrimp and grits and no one even made me feel weird for practically licking the plate clean. I will preface this review by saying we visited Poach Social smackdab during the 4-night Beyonce tour in ATL. Being a Black owned spot, the Beyhive was fully present. While PS is a small, neighborhood spot, I think they had maybe five people working there, including the chef(s) and bartender. Equally sparse is the parking. While luck was on our side and we managed to snag a spot right in the front, most may struggle finding somewhere to fit their car along the narrow-ish adjacent neighborhood streets. The menu advises that waits can be long, and that is honest truth. Everything took a while, from getting water to ordering. The host was also acting as our server and in-between food runner as well. He was as attentive as possible considering the crowd and the lack of hands, and we were far more sympathetic for him than upset with the delays in service. We started with the espresso cocktails, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered the smoked salmon avocado tower and split the French toast and chicken with my wife. The French toast had a great flavor with a custardy inside, and the chicken was moist and well cooked. My cousin's shrimp and grits was flavorful too and she enjoyed it. Unfortunately, they brought me an avocado toast instead of the salmon tower. The server offered to add a side of salmon which would make it "pretty much the same," but that it would take a while. The two dishes were actually very different per the menu, but I agreed for the sake of ease. By the time we had eaten and were ready for the check, the salmon hadn't even arrived so I just ate the toast. The server offered to box the salmon up for me to go, but I didnt want it at that point. With most of the patrons there for the concert and Beyonce's best playing in the background, it was a fun vibe. None of us were very hungry, so waiting was bearable. Next on my list to try will be the fried chicken sandwich or the Cajun pasta. Our server was attentive and had great energy. I only gave 4 stars because it can sometimes feel a little cramped inside. The venue is small but they've done their best to set up the tables to maximize the space. Additionally, with a small party you tend to be sat next to the window or near the kitchen door. So this place was a bit underwhelming to me. I've had it on my list of brunch restaurants to try for sometime now and finally ended up going for Easter Sunday this year. My first impression is that it is pretty tiny. It's just one room and that room is jampacked with tables. I almost feel like if they're going to have a location that small there should be a few less tables just for there to be more room, but I understand it's a business. There were a few times where I had to move out of the way so that servers could get by me and my first thought was there's just not enough room in this restaurant. I also thought it would be a little bit more of an upscale aesthetic than it was. It is nice in there don't get me wrong but the overall aesthetic was different than I expected. The ambience was OK. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. My food was also pretty decent not amazing but not horrible so as you can see from pretty much everything I'm saying it was overall just OK to me. I will say the service was good though we had a waitress and then another man we spoke to who I'm not sure if he is the manager or what but they were both really friendly and helpful. I did order some scrambled eggs that took a very long time and I assume to make up for it they ended up giving my mom and I free mimosas which was a really nice touch so I would definitely say the service was good out of everything. I debated whether to remove a star because of the experience we had here. But then I thought that for all the negativity we received from the hostess, two other employees went out of their way to accommodate us. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon with no reservation and expected to wait an hour to be seated. I noticed a couple of seats at the bar so the hostess said we could sit there and order drinks only - no food. Strange, since bar seating is usually FCFS and offers the ability to order food. Got to the bar and the server was very nice and told us it would be ok to order food just as the ladies did who were sitting beside us at the same bar. Few mins later someone else approached us an asked us if we would like to be seated because there was a table available and there were two people being seated in our place at the bar. Cool. Get to the table waiting for it to be cleaned and the hostess very rudely tells us we can't sit there because someone was waiting for that table for a long time. The thing is I didn't ask to sit there. Already had a seat which was now gone and you are just telling me a problem without offering a solution. So unprofessional as we sat and watched her argue with the employee who offered us the table. In the end I noticed a table outside and we were able to sit there instead. Then we were harassed by flies and dragonflies. Anyway it was just not a great experience mostly because of how the hostess went about it. But again the two other employees were super friendly and customer oriented so they made up for it. As for food, I ordered French toast and turkey sausage, both very good. The food here is extremely delicious! We got the jerk chicken egg rolls a10/10. Also, the waffle tower with chicken and the salmon polante and it was one of the best seafood plates I've had. The service was great. She was extremely attentive! Definitely recommend this place read more

We came here for breakfast after staying downtown and I was looking forward to a really good meal. This place kind of disappointed. For one, the mainstay of a good breakfast is a latte for me and I asked one of the employees there if they served lattes and he said yes. I think he was even the manager, which makes no sense at all. Well, we had already sat down so we just decided to eat here. They mentioned that the jerk chicken eggrolls were a must so we got those to start. I found them to be a little soggy and nothing special. He did not care for them either. For my meal, I got some chicken sausage and smoked salmon avocado tower. I did not care for the chicken sausage. It was really chewy and just not very flavorful. Again a miss for me. The other issue was the tower. So when I think of a tower, I think of something that's tall and this was literally just some avocado toast basically. I literally thought they brought out the wrong dish. It's a complete misnomer and it also just wasn't very good. We sat outside and it didn't help that there were so many flies. We were battling our entire meal, but overall, I was just super disappointed in the food. Service was good... We came here for Easter brunch and it was fantastic! I made a reservation the week of and was only able to get a 1:30pm reservation for a party of 4. I highly recommend a reservation and you have to put a credit card down to get one, but cancel without penalty up until your reservation time. With that, we still had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated after arriving a few minutes late. We were seated inside (there are a few outside tables) and our server was prompt and friendly. We started with the lemon zest honey wings and they were amazing! No sauce needed. For my entree, I got the cajun shrimp pasta and it came with 6 huge shrimp. The sauce was light and flavorful, not as creamy as I expected so that was a nice surprise. Parking is easy in their private lot or on the street nearby. The ambiance is modern chic and there is a small bar area with outlets and coat hooks. read more

Came here on a Wednesday morning and not busy at all. On the weekends it is more lovely and music is up as well. Food was lovely and good portions. The smoked salmon avocado tower is not really a tower per se so just be aware so you aren't disappointed - still tasty! Great service as well. Small place relatively speaking so definitely would be good to make a reservation if you go on the weekend. read more
