Very cool cocktail bar tucked in the back of Lady Bird! The place is very true to its rustic/vintage theme which I loved. A perfect dark, moody, and unique place for sure. I tried the Smoke & Roots and loved it. My husband had the cabin carre and it was a bit too sweet for both of our tastes. Overall I'd recommend and return to try new drinks!
Love Ranger Station in Ladybird! This is their upstairs speakeasy style bar! It's dark and moody and perfect for an intimate date or night out with friends! It's a perfect spot for a night cap on the beltline!! I always love their holiday decor. And they do fun shot skis, cocktails, and small plates. FYI the fondue is DELICIOUS!! We literally took it home and made pasta with the leftovers lol it was sooo good!! You can make reservations for this spot, so if you definitely want to get over there make a reservation in advance!
When you come here, ask for Kass. She is what made our experience here at the bar. The food and drinks are amazing. It is also less crowded than the outside part which makes allows you to talk with friends. Also got the tater tots with caviar which I highly recommend.
I'm in love with this place. It's such a cute speakeasy style, 70s vintage, vibey place for happy hour or dinner. The drinks are strong, some of which are.. creative.. and the food is delish. Had the rolls because.. of course. The chimichurri steak was delish. The potato with caviar.. chefs kiss. I didn't know this was here. It's above lady bird in the back. Total spot.
Ranger Station is unfortunately in a loud busy environment. If familiar with the beltline, it takes a lot of effort to get to if visiting for the first time. The inside is beautifully decorated with plenty of western themed items and colors and the vibes are consistent even all the way to the "latrines". The menu did not wow me. There were only a few items that stood out but what I did actually order was also just okay. I was expecting the dip to be hot but it was the exact opposite. I think it is maybe better suited for individuals interested in unique items or just hanging out to grab a drink or two but not for a real meal.

This place has that perfect and seemingly contradictory blend of ambiances: hand-selected/rustic/cabin/bougie/cozy/fancy/high-end/home-town/speak-easy. It shouldn't work, but it does. The cocktail menu is made with such loving attention to detail. It looks like a guide to hiking trails. Behind the bar is a beautiful 3D topo map of a mountain range I'm not going to indentify for you ;) The cocktails are spendy but worth it. No thumb-gun action here, all made fresh right in front of you! The folks working here, and the folks drinking here were also incredibly friendly. I was just visiting but I got invited to a Halloween party later in the week!
Fun vibes and great cocktails. Loved their classics like an old fashioned and their new menu as well. We liked the mountain cat's bloom and smokejumper off the menu. Their wine list is pretty good too.
Ranger Station is a V I B E. I came on a Tuesday night pretty close to closing time so it was a little slow, but the atmosphere is great and the cocktails are really solid. They have a way of mixing really complex ingredients together to generate a deliciously mixed cocktail. Definitely recommend!
Made it to Ranger Station after having it bookmarked for a while. We had a group of 6, so made reservations prior to make sure we didn't have any problems. Ranger Station is located above Ladybird food hall and mess. Signs will guide you well. We didn't have issues finding parking if the space on a Saturday night, and while it was busy it wasn't too crowded. Music was good (not too loud) and the ambience was out of an old Western - stuffed animals, wood panels. You would fit right in with some cowboy boots and a nice cowboy hat. But something casual or even trendy will make you feel just as comfortable. We perused the menu and ordered a few drinks and the Truffle fries. Our server was not the most attentive and the drinks did take time but other than that the drinks were made well. My first drink was from the menu but decided to go off beat for the next! Everyone at our table enjoyed their drinks (and yes the fries too). This place closes at 1am, and kitchen closes at 12, so we missed out on ordering more food. But overall this place was fun. I'll definitely be back.
Ranger Station might be my favorite bar. I was visiting from out of town and saw it on Yelp. After seeing the fun, outdoor themed decor, I knew I had to try it. The staff was very friendly and helpful when making suggestions, I loved my drink, and it was the perfect quiet place to catch up with friends! Would highly recommend for cocktails!
Visited Ranger Station on a Tuesday night. Since this is a hidden bar you should definitely make reservation. It was not busy, with only a few patrons at the bar, and other tables. The ambiance of the restaurant was dark and intimate. The walls are adorned with decorations and the seating is a combination of couches and comfy chairs. The servers all seemed to genuinely love working there all wearing smiles and can-do attitudes! My server was very attentive and checked on us often. As far as drinks I ordered the Old Faithful, Thunderbolt and Truth or Consequences. All three drinks were perfectly crafted and delicious. The Truth or Consequences was my favorite - had a nice low spiciness but was super refreshing! The thunderbolt was tasty but I wish it did not have as much ice. The Old Faithful was light and refreshing - a ton of fruit flavors acting on this one. For entrees I order the Smoked Pork belly without walnuts, and the Cauliflower Cake & Herb Salad. The Pork belly was absolutely delicious. The sweet potatoes and apple mostarda was the perfect accompianment. I would come back over and over again for this. The Cauliflower cake was tasty, I wish it was a bit crispier, maybe seared a little more so that there was more of a crunch. The Herb salad was sweet and refreshing. I would eat the herb salad alone. I also order the amazing Truffled Waffle Fries. Perfect as a side or a started, great portion, seasoned perfectly and nice and crispy. Overall I am so glad I stopped by! From the sweet servers to the food I was pleased and would visit again! Perfect for an intimate date night or night cap.
We had a great time at Ranger Station. Our hosts and servers - Jarret, Connor, Des and Cass were attentive and helpful. The vibe is fun but relaxed with a great collection of vinyl from the 50's-90's. Highly recommend.
We came here on a Friday night before dinner at Kevin Rathbun. The ambiance is great. Nice & quaint but upscale. I had the truth or consequences, which is similar to a spicy margarita and then the espresso martini. Honestly, it's probably one of the best espresso martinis I have had. So good. I'd highly recommend stopping by for a few drinks!

Certainly a cool spot but a bit expensive. They don't let you stand so if you have a group larger than 8 people or so you will need to split up and make sure everyone is seated in a chair. Cool decor and delicious drinks read more

Ambiance is very chill! More of a yap spot for sure. I think you need resy's usually when u go too, but i was able to walk in no problem. As for the drinks, apparently there's a deal for martinis every Tuesday and they offer lemon drop or espresso martinis! read more

One of the better programs in ATL. If I'm just comparing this to other ATL bars, it's a 5. If I'm comparing to all bars everywhere a 4. The reason for the 4 over the 5 is that the drink menu isn't huge and seems a bit random. There doesn't seem to be a rationale behind how it's organized. Would love to see it broken down by flavor profiles and add more options to their craft game. That said, they can make almost anything if you have something in mind. But I'm a craft cocktail fan, so the menu is important. Service was top notch! J was our server, and she couldn't have been better. She was spot on with her drink recommendations. Our water never ran out. We never waited to order. She was great. We shared the snack pack, and the pimento cheese was a SLAM DUNK. It was obviously homemade. Amazing. The crackers were divine. Everything, although simple, was memorable. Bathrooms were clean. Seating was really comfortable. We came on a Sunday night at 6 and having a reservations was helpful. Otherwise we'd have had to wait. Definitely check this place out. read more
My friend and I made a reservation for this new spot last night. Our reservation was for 7pm. I do encourage to make a res! It got quite crowded, even on a Thursday night. It's super vibey - dark lighting and cool decor. Our waitress came over to take our order quickly. We just came for drinks, but they also have a few food items! We got the northern (disco) lights (which is essentially an espresso martini) and the truth or consequences. Both were great! We loved this place a lot. A cool new place to check out when on the beltline. When you go into ladybird, you have to walk to the back corner! There's a host stand there that leads you upstairs to ranger station! read more

The ambience in Ranger Station was very cute, reminiscent of a ski lodge. A very eclectic little place, their holiday drink menu was very eclectic as well. My friend and I shared an appetizer and had a few drinks. We did have to wait a while to get in as they had a private event at that time, however it was completely worth it. This is definitely a place you go to for the ambience than the food and drinks itself. Each drink ranges from $15-$18. The entire place got packed really quick and in a rush our server charged us the wrong amount, however was able to resolve it. It was a unique experience, and perfect for out of towners. read more
So this little Hidden Gem was super dope! When you go inside of the ladybird and go around the corner, and then you end up going upstairs. It is truly a hidden bar situation. It's kind of like in the Attic lol! But, it's so worth it. It's plenty of space, but I would suggest making reservations. It's very dimly lit, which really gives it a speakeasy kind of vibe, it's not like you're going in the Chili's or Fridays to drink lol! But it could also be considered very intimate. You have a bunch of seating available. We sat at the bar. Both of our drinks were pretty good, I got the closest thing to an old fashioned that they had and I was actually pleased by it. The staff was amazing and friendly. They came to talk to us while we were sitting there waiting for our drinks. Have some great conversations from other people at the bar as well. When asked to explain the drinks, they were very knowledgeable and knew exactly what they were talking about. Which I can appreciate, especially if it's a new place that I'm drinking at. I love the Ambiance and I love the vibe. It's a perfect date night for drinks. Also on a side note, the glass where they had was awesome to me. They said that they went around to a lot of antique shop so you're not going to find a full set necessarily, but a lot of other and different types of glassware to kind of fit the mood and the vibe of the restaurant. I thought that was truly awesome, I loved my glass. I wanted to take it home! But I decided against it LOL. read more

The vibes are pretty cool, lots of taxidermy animals, patterned rugs and ski lodge vibes. It's pretty dark and moody if that's what you're into. Great space for large groups! ALL the drinks I've tried here are ridiculously delicious. If you like carrot cake, the arc of visibility tastes like carrot cake in a glass, so surprisingly good!!! All the drinks are pretty unique. The service was super quick and our server was able to help a lot with recommendations. read more

Was able to snag a last minute spot when a friend visiting from out of town. He was from Texas and so was this place. That being said it might be a little cliché located in Dallas, but in Atlanta it leads to a very unique experience. Bust out your favorite, cowboy boots and cowboy hat, you'll fit right in! Cocktails were delicious and the ambience was chill. Highly recommend it for a unique experience/date night/small gathering. Probably not great for big groups. Imagine this place fills up quickly on the weekend. read more

Super fun new bar in the heart of the beltline! Lady bird already has such a great ambiance but Ranger Station really took it up a notch. The choice of cocktails were so unique and had a bunch of options. I got a few tequila drinks with vanilla and pineapple and my friend got a gin drink. They were both so phenomenal and different! The ambiance really is nice and intimate. Very dark in there but creates a great time. I do wish that they had some food options but overall great experience! read more

Scoot your boots on over because this place is gonna sling you outta your saddle! Atmosphere is giving nostalgia with a solid record collection, comfortable and diverse seating throughout, and a warm sense of hospitality from staff. The longer you spend time here tho more you will recognize their attention to detail. Cocktails are curated to reel you in with descriptions that tell you a story, and take over every inch of your palate. This evening I had smoke pork belly, and the dish was so savory and perfectly executed. I'm leaving full as a tick and deeply satisfied. 10/10. Make a reservation now, especially if you want to impress someone. read more
