Very nice ambiance ! The bar is conveniently connected to eight sushi lounge. It seems like an intimate lounge. They were very busy on Sunday night. There was also a large beautiful bouquet on the table! We got a few drinks and they were all wonderful. I really enjoyed the heiress ! So unique and so so good! The service was also super friendly. Can't wait to be back to try their other drinks. The menu was also so cute! Lots of thought put into it.

Still in their soft open. The staff were super sweet and great to explain the cocktails. I tried to very different cocktails and they both were amazing. I loved the ingredients and thought the price point was right for the craft and venue. They give you some amazing Asian snacks with your drinks. I spoke with the creator of the cocktails and he is very welcoming and modest! Very impressed and hope this place sticks around. Ambiance is dark but perfect for the theme and craft cocktail vibe with friends.

What a discovery. After Eight is the sleekest new cocktail lounge that's opened here in recent memory. Let me set the stage - after walking through a nondescript door on Brady Avenue you step into a dark, moody, yet extremely modern lounge area. These design elements culminate into what is a REMARKABLY cozy space. The bar equipment is the most sophisticated I have seen down here. The cocktails are innovative interpretations of Japanese and Asian classics. Each one I tried (heiress, noble son, and expresso martini) were off the charts. Every sip was a symphony of different subtle flavors in perfect harmony. This will surely be my new neighborhood spot for artisan cocktails. Make it yours too!!

Small and intimate setting. The Heiress was a unique drink and presentation was very nice. There was not enough seating at the bar. We were not told that we were going to be charged a delivery fee for not sitting at the bar, even though the venue is very small and we could have easily gotten up and walked two steps to get our drinks had we known there would be a charge for it.

A sweeet surprise! Wow the drinks and the ambience is great here. I came here with a group of 9 and we had the place to ourselves. The ube drink was fireeeeeeee. The service was amazing!

Overall a great spot for elevated cocktails. It's quite dark in the space so it feels intimate. When I went they didn't offer food , just light snacks which felt a little limited. The service was consultative and informative (Wendy was kind), but the price point felt a bit high for the experience. Would be back again but sadly this won't be a regular spot for me.

Got the espresso martini before our dinner reservation at Eight next door. We sat at the bar and didn't have any trouble getting a seat early evening. Bartender said it gets much busier after dinner / late. Service was great! Plus there's a door direct to Eight!

The entrance code can be obtained from their website or local hotel concierges. Dial the number on the antique phone and the door magically opens. The staff super friendly and helpful. The bartenders are the best, clearly passionate about their work. I highly encourage you to try one or several of their signature cocktails. I sampled the Left Bank Martini and Vesper. As expected they are fully stocked with Pappy Bourbon, hard to find Amaro Noni. Ask a bartender about the ice block. The place is spacious unlike other speakeasys I've been to. Lots of niche areas with couch reservations, pool table available. No time for a cigar but that is on my list when I return. Food available from their upstairs sister restaurant.

I sat at the bar and had a little light banter with the bartender who is a brother looking to be in his late 30's-early 40's. When I asked about two fruity cocktails from the menu, he flat-out said he wasn't going to make them. That alone was off-putting. Trying to move forward, I asked what he specialized in, and he said he'd "come up with something." I agreed--but very clearly stated: no rum, because my body does not react well to it. After watching him make drinks for people who ordered after me, he eventually handed me a cocktail I never even saw him prepare. That already raised a flag. I took a few sips, and sure enough--my stomach immediately started reacting the exact way it does when I've had rum. When I asked what alcohol he used, he said, "I don't even know." That response alone tells you everything you need to know. At that point, I reminded him I specifically said no rum. Instead of taking accountability, he tried to argue and backtrack. Let me be clear--when a customer tells you not to use a specific liquor, you don't ignore it, guess, or "forget." That's basic service and basic respect. This situation completely threw off my evening, as I had plans afterward and ended up feeling sick. To make matters worse, I reached out to management and received no response. That lack of accountability speaks volumes. At the end of the day, this wasn't just a bad drink--it was careless service. This staff does not prioritize customer care, and that's a problem. If you choose to visit, be very direct, pay close attention, and don't assume your requests will be respected.

We found a nice table and ordered a glass of wine. We had every intent of staying and eating, but this atmosphere is not what we had in mind. Rather than just finding out, he went ahead and made it and brought it out with the group's drinks. When I saw how good it looked, I decided to order one too. The presentation of the drink was very nice and it had a good creamy flavor to it. This drink was a nice way to wind down the evening. As someone from TX, I did think the drinks were a bit on the pricey side but it's not surprising with it being the ritz. I liked that the bar had a fun yet casual ambiance and there were plenty of people around. We did ask what time last call was and were told midnight so we didn't hurry to order a second drink. Unfortunately, when we ordered another at 10:40... we were told they had closed which was frustrating.

They hold a jazz night every Tuesday with live music for a nice chill, yet fun, vibe. Just a warning, the space inside is pretty small--typically there's optional seating outside, but it's really chilly at the moment (although they have heaters)--but there's more seating downstairs in The Victorian Atlanta plant shop. I didn't realize that the two were connected! FYI, if you sit downstairs, you'll be seated next to where the live music performers will be playing, so it will be louder there. As for the drinks, I tried the Zombie. I loved it so much, I ordered a second one instead of trying a different one! It tasted sweet and slightly tropical with the rum and spiced liqueur. It also had some absinthe, which I was worried about when I first ordered it since I hate the taste of it (not a big fan of black licorice flavors), but I didn't taste it at all! Overall, this place had such a great vibe to it!
